One of the easiest agencies to deal with. Rented a property from them and the process was made easy. The viewing was on time (hard to come by nowadays), agent had all the answers to my queries and the paperwork was made easy.
Definitely recommend these guys to everyone.

I rented a room in a share house in Wapping. After a month I moved in I'm still sleeping with a window that doesn't shut! I never been able to get a bath as hot water is a joke. I want my money back!!!! Don't spend money and energy with this agency!!!!

Fantastic company to go to. The staff are extremely helpful, whenever I call up there is always someone to help me. Whenever there are additional needs such as issues with a property they find people for you who will sort things out and it is done in a fast and efficient manner, absolutely less stress for you to find someone yourself and the prices they offer are very competitive for work carried out. All in all they strive in excellent customer service and have looked after me for over a year and have never had an issue with them and will continue to stay with them and even refer other people to them. Especially if you are looking for a company that will look after you as a client which seems to be the most important thing for them and not just be after your money. Sparemove is definitely a company I would love to shout out about. Thank you for looking after us well.

I am extremely disappointed by this company. They repeatedly ignored my concerns that one of the tenants in the shared property suffers from a mental illness. The tenant in question has the classic symptoms of a Bi-polar Disorder. The man is overly hyperactive, restless, overly loud and delusional at times. He coughing is ever unending as he is a chain smoker. I reported my concerns to this letting agent but they repeatedly ignored me. They maintain that the man is "normal" I am having to contend with living to someone with unpredictable behavior which is causing me undue stress. Incidentally, it does not appear that this letting agent adequately vets potential tenants. All they care about is filling the rooms and bringing in money. I would not recommend them, I would not even rate them with a single star. I would rate their service as very appalling. They all appear to favor tenants who share their religious faith. So if you are not a Muslim, then you are most likely not to be catered to the same way as a Muslim tenant. They are so much bothered by money that they do not make any attempts to consider the status of the existing tenants. For example, you are forced to share accommodation with people who are hardly professionals. Inexorably, their behavior and ways of life are very different. I have decided to quit renting from this agent as it is increasingly becoming unsafe for me to live next door to someone with a Bipolar DIs-order whose condition does not seem to be monitored and/or not taking his medication. Avoid this letting agent -if you can. There are better choices and alternatives out there who will endeavor to position a new tenant with like-minded ones.

Just to say this company has restored my faith back in humanity. Put down a deposit for a room for my daughter when she was refused Halls accommodation only to be told a few days later that she did have one. Even though when I signed the contract with Tarek I was told the deposit was non refundable but when I explained the situation he kindly RETURNED the FULL deposit . 100% trustworthy and very friendly and approachable . Would use Sparemove when my daughter needs to get an apartment ! Thank you Tarek

I was initially asked to submit a review prior to getting my bond back and saw reviews on here indicating others were in a similar position.
When one sparemove employee ceased passing on the rent to the property owner, the owner took legal action to have sparemove evicted from the property. I don't know the legality of this, but the result was that all tenants were "evicted" at short notice (~4 days or so). Huge amount of stress.
The remaining sparemove employees were fairly unapologetic - just refunding the bond and rent paid thus far - no accountability for their actions. Stopped answering calls and poor communication through this stressful period.
Contract was a "licence to occupy" and I was dubious of its legality - maybe to stop someone from being sure / knowing their rights with regard to the Landlord and Tenancy Act; apparently nil as they explained to me.
AVOID.

Very very poor tenant service. Just after your deposit and monthly rent. No action is taken to problems reported until you threaten to vacate. Reported problems with heating and bathroom. Took forever to attend to the problems and yet pestering me to pay rent. Promised a cleaner every week. Not seen one yet. Complained and told to leave if it was a problem. Felt like calling in council or trading standards. Cockroaches and rats in the property. Told to buy own pest control. Really rubbish tenant care. AVOID renting from this agency. They are conmen! If I could rate no star... I would rate them minus 5-

I'd avoid these guys if I was you. I rented with them for over a year. Pretty sure, the contract was not above board, if you get offered a "licence agreement" I'd suggest thoroughly looking it over how legitimate that designation is before agreeing to anything.
I'm actually changing my review now, since my deposit is only just back in my hands 10 or so weeks of chasing. Initially, when I's asked for a reference for my new flat, they said "Happy to do so Just waiting for you to confirm the review have been completed" and "just write something simple and put 5 stars and then we're good to go." So I would take some of these very positive reviews with a grain of salt if I were you.

I've been letting a room since March of last year. They're fantastic letting agents, we had our oven break down last year and had a repairman out on the day. All issues I've had with the house have had nearly immediate responses and rectified as soon as possible. The process from viewing to renting was quick and pleasant.

I've been renting a room for 1 and a half years from Sparemove. They are great letting agents, the process to getting my room was quick, efficient and easy and whenever there has been a problem with the property I can call whatever / whatever time and the problem is always fixed. I've had no problems with Sparemove as letting agents and my landlord since moving in.
