19th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.

3rd Mar 2026 (21 days ago)I had a brilliant experience renting a property near the city centre thanks to "Sophie Copley". The entire process was incredibly efficient and professional; Sophie was always responsive to my queries and handled the contract preparation and signing with impressive speed. Her communication is precise and consistently helpful—I strongly recommend her! Since moving in, "Helen" has been managing the property and has been equally wonderful. Any issues I've reported have been handled promptly by professionals. Helen is a highly responsible and effective property manager. Great team overall!
26th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)An excellent experience from start to finish completing on both a sale and a purchase with Pocock & Shaw. Chris, Elen, Magnus & the team were all involved throughout the entire process and made what can be a stressful process as easy as it could be. Communication and updates were frequent which kept us informed about the progress of both transactions. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again!- 6th Mar 2026 (18 days ago)We have been tenants of a property managed by Cheffins Newmarket for almost 8 years. From the beginning until the end, it has been a flawless experience. Always very responsive, professional, and understanding. I've been asked to provide feedback on an area where they can improve, but I really struggle to think of anything. I strongly recommend this agency. If you take care of the property, there will be no issues.
- 3rd Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)I had been renting a property in Ely for the past 4 years or so through Cheffins and have had nothing but a positive experience. They have always been super quick to respond to any communication and extremely professional while doing so. They were also incredibly understanding, respectful and accommodating of my personal situation. I especially want to call out Bev H who I spoke with the most, she's a real star. Should I decide to rent again in the future or have a property to rent out then Cheffins will be my first choice.
4th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)William H Brown were great with the moving in process quick & efficient. Pippa is very easy to work with and helpful. On the other hand, moving out was an absolute nightmare!!! We had 0 communication and were receiving arrears emails over 3 times when we had paid due to the internal lack of communication. When you phone each department they have no idea what is going on. It’s so clear that there is no communication throughout the departments. We had a checkout scheduled in and waited at the house for 2 hours. Nobody showed up nor called or emailed us. Thankfully we ended up making contact with an agent called Richard from the Thetford branch, he listened to our frustrations and helped us get in contact with the relevant people. Would not recommend at all!

19th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)I just wanted to leave a review for Lana at Tucker Gardner. She made a big impression on me. It's such a stressful process trying to find a property and Lana made the viewing so much less stressful. I noticed how caring and considerate she was towards the owners of the property, and she sold the property in the best possible light. If I was selling I would feel very reassured to know that someone was selling my property who I can trust and who is doing such a great job of it. And she was very kind to me too, taking time to tell me about the area and even show me some lovely things in Ely. She's a delight and I just wanted to thank her for giving me a lovely time in the midst of an otherwise stressful time property searching. Thank you Lana ??????
11th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)I've been using TM services for about ten years, selling, buying and letting property and generally they give very good service. Most recently I used TM on a managed let to handle the change of tenant process which they did successfully but not perfectly. The services to notify utilities when changing tenants did bit work for me for energy and council tax. I find that this time find TM were good at contacting me for any issues or updates but not easily contacted themselves e.g. phone numbers given incorrect, calls transferred to unanswered phones, no response to voicemails left or emails. Fortunately TM have a great asset in Sheetal Shah who handled all the various procedures over the change of tenants which reduced my tasks considerably. Sheetal could also be relied upon to respond to my emails and calls, and was always helpful and patient.

20th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)Intercounty dealt with our sale and purchase professionally and with a smile despite some setbacks that might have daunted other estate agents. They were very good at dealing with all the various parties involved - and keeping us in the loop. All the staff I dealt with were polite, efficient and knowledgable.
2nd Mar 2026 (22 days ago)Cannot be happier with Kevin Henry! David Moss was super and valued our house perfectly, as it sold within a week despite it being over everyone else’s valuation. He was also very honest and we felt like he had our best interests at heart when discussing all our sale options. This really stood out compared to the other estate agents we’d had out. Then we dealt mostly with Katie Staggs and she was wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough - she was more helpful than my solicitor and offered to do more constantly to support us in selling the house. She also offered great advice when she could because sadly we were gazumped on a couple of others properties… this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. So so impressed and would definitely recommend them to a friend!
10th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Landlords, save yourselves the stress and financial loss: look elsewhere!!! My experience with TuckerGardner has been a masterclass in property management failure at every level, from junior staff to senior management: *Operational Negligence:* Checkouts were poorly executed and incomplete, leaving me to deal with unresolved issues leading to urgent repairs that had to be carried out long after the previous tenancy ended, with no funds left aside to cover them. *Zero Communication:* Simple emails went unanswered for weeks at a time. I had to constantly chase them for basic updates that should have been provided proactively. **Shockingly, it was only when I threatened to escalate the matter to the Property Ombudsman that I finally received a response.** *Exorbitant Costs:* Their fees are unjustified compared to the "service delivered". I have since moved to a local agent for a management fee that is nearly 40% lower. The lack of accountability and technical follow-up is unacceptable for a "premium" agency. Do not trust them with your property!!!

5th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Ben, Harriet and Ellis all proved themselves to be friendly, helpful, efficient and available during the sale of my property. Having never sold a house before, I have no comparative experience, but I would certainly retain their services again if I were to need an estate agent to act on my behalf, especially due to the ‘personal touches’ - they never made me feel like I was ‘just another sale’ , and checked in regularly with genuine care about my sale and any requests or questions I had along the way. My enduring thanks to them.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

11th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)They did a good job of photographing the property inside and out and new EPC certification, as well as dealing with the house viewings when I wasn't present. I don't believe however that they did anything proactive in marketing the property beyond the initial presentation? They never discussed with me premium listings on platforms like Rightmove and Zoopla, and I don't think they "refreshed" the listing (regularly changing the lead image, update the description, etc) either.
