28th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)Rent money sent to them on time and they still send threatening letters saying respond within 24hrs. We have asked for more information as they must have their records wrong. They fail to respond for days comes across as aggressive hipocracy.

Most importantly, he never wastes our time and has a great ability to understand exactly what we are looking for in a property. Throughout our experience, he has been extremely professional and clearly values his clients just as much as they value him. He is reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and very respectful. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a letting agent.
26th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)My husband and I have been on our house purchase journey since getting married in 2023 and were recommended by family to speak with Daniel Appleby. Although we weren’t in the position to buy in 2023, Dan always stayed in touch after giving us our initial consultation. Fast forward to 2026, Dan with all his expertise helped us understand our options and this time we started the journey properly! There aren’t enough words to describe the care aspect Dan has for his clients, it’s so personalised that sometimes I forget he works with others! We always felt like he put us first. Because of Dan alongside with the fantastic and professional recommended solicitors, we have been able to become homeowners in just 2 months of house viewing. The team at Roger Platt LE are all also very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Plus they make a great cup of tea for when you have an in person appointment! Would 100% recommend.

2nd May 2026 (6 days ago)The Knights Property Services team have been amazing start to finish throughout the process of buying our property, and we’d highly recommend them. Joel was great at the start and really helped us kick things off to the point of buying the property. We were then handed over to Andy, who supported us the rest of the way. He was super helpful and always there to answer our questions or chase things up for us. Communication throughout was great and we were kept up to date on progress, and we always felt in safe hands. The only thing we would have improved was the length of the initial viewing, as we only had 15 minutes.

23rd Apr 2026 (15 days ago)We sold our property with Chancellor's recently and I must say the service from start to finish was exceptional. Rob gave us confidence in the sale from our first meeting for the valuation. He had very clear ideas on how to promote the property and what it was worth. We took a chance with Rob's suggested asking price that was significantly higher than quoted by other agents, and after a very quick launch to market and an open house the following week, we had multiple asking price offers and accepted an offer above the asking price, which was all the evidence we needed that we chose the right agent. Throughout the process, we were kept updated by Naomi and the office team, who did everything to make an ordinarily stressful time almost stress free. The service from everyone was outstanding and I would recommend the team to anyone looking to sell or buy.
6th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Avoid using their dodgy lawyers - estimate was £2.6K and total bill was £3.7K. Plus Prospect get a £500 commission from the ‘conveyancers’ for referring us. Just instruct a local law firm to act for you in a purchase/sale

Hannah, our move manager was so patient and driven to aid communication with our purchaser's solicitor. We highly recommend the Reading sales team.

1st May 2026 (7 days ago)My experience with romans was mixed, there was a few things I weren’t happy about with e.g how I was told I shouldn’t put offers on more than 1 property at the same time etc. I understand from a business perspective romans have to stay impartial and have the best solution for both parties, but I believe that’s part of business. However my experience with Filip Podgorski directly is what led to me to write this review. Filip was very responsive and understanding and catered towards my needs whilst making me feel seen. Nowadays it’s hard to find people in customer service jobs that go the extra mile with empathy and Filip done just that. I hope this review is picked up by the team and he gets the recognition he deserves.

They were professional, responsive, and handled the entire process—including managing viewings around my tenant—with total care. A huge shout-out to Imani, who was brilliant with the sale and viewings, and to Chanelle, who was a total superstar with the chasing and paperwork. Together, they pushed everything through to reach exchange within just two months. It’s rare to find a team this proactive. Highly recommended!

Best experience we have had using the different agents in the Woodley area, a cut above the rest we would say based on every aspect of the selling experience.

Callum was especially helpful
24th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. RUDE AND TRY TO INTIMIDATE STUDENTS AND TAKE ADVANTAGE. They are awful. Rude and confrontational. We have had multiple issues with the house they have rented us, saying its not their problem and that we should go to the landlady, when realistically they should help. we have been yelled at in the house we are renting from them in front of other potential tenants which not only was an embarrassing situation but also totally uncalled for and unprofessional just like when they opened my mail. when we complained about the viewing being over an hour late the "CEO" (Asiff) replying with "you have been complaining non stop so I am just going to ignore you". Disgusting human imo. THE ONE STAR IS FAKE.

27th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
