Selling these days is stressful, no getting away from it unfortunately. Michael, Simon and his team are fantastic. From initially visiting us to value our property to exchange of contracts, Michael made the process run as smoothly as possible, from doing most of the viewings himself to chasing solicitors and other agents within the chain when needed near completion. He always stays calm and reassuring. We made the right choice going with them to sell our home. We'd certainly use again if they widened their net to Lancashire! Thanks guys... Read more

I highly recommend Michael. If you have sold properties before and been frustrated by your chosen estate agent then you need to appoint him. He knows his market and offers wise counsel - estate agents we asked before appointing him priced the house in a range of over £100k on a £350k house - Michael's estimate was the closest (and v close) to what we actually sold for. He is proactive during the process, calls back when he says he will - and will go the extra mile if you need him to (we were selling a property a long way away from us so were totally reliant on him for viewings, key exchanges etc etc). The whole experience has been an absolute breath of fresh air. I am selling another property at the moment in the midlands and only wish he could do that one for me as well (as it currently lumbers along with one of the "big" names!!).... Read more

The worst estate agent to deal with. Lies to your face, neglects problems, Takes your deposit, doesn't clean the house before you move in. We were paying £2600 a month in rent and the majority of the time we had no heating. Michael owns the estate agents and shows a consistent bias to his friend who is also the landlord. 0 professionalism, wouldn't ever deal with them again. At the end of it, has the cheek to say it wasn't cleaned when we left. You tell me how you would feel if you moved into a house and this was the condition.......... Read more

We have just completed on our house sale with Walker Smale acting as our agents. The whole process from start to finish was seamless and we were impressed by how soon the property was marketed after the valuation. We opted for the 360 virtual viewing and would highly recommend this as it gave potential buyers a real feel of the property. As regards the valuation we invited a few local agents who in our opinion undervalued the property; we achieved the higher valuation price suggested by Simon and Michael. Karen was prompt in seeking feedback from viewings and arranging viewings.
