Communication with this company was extremely poor throughout my tenancy, despite paying £1,300 for a two-bedroom flat with a mini garden 3 blocks away from the main flat. Getting responses to basic queries was often difficult. Sometimes the owner of the property would have to come by himself to rectify simple queries, and I wondered why he contracted them to manage his property. During one inspection, an inspector walked into my wife’s home office while she was in the middle of a work meeting and started taking photos standing behind her facing the camera. Although inspections are part of the contract, basic courtesy would have been to wait until her meeting had finished before entering the room. When I raised this concern, it was dismissed by the property manager Thomas Fisher, he rudely told me I signed my contract and that was in the contract. I also raised other matters with the property manager, Thomas Fisher, but it was never taken seriously. When I later decided to move out due to the overall experience, additional charges were raised by Thomas Fisher even though the property had been professionally cleaned and confirmed by one of their staff stating the cleaning and the whole state of the property was spotless. Overall, a very disappointing experience and a lack of professionalism especially from Thomas Fisher, I would advise others to carefully consider before renting through this company.... Read more

From the moment we instructed Firmin & Co to value our house, James was amazing. He was honest, concise and very professional. His sneak peak video on social media, before the property went live, was great and essentially sold our property…with the first person that booked a viewing buying it. James wanted to know all the details of our home so he could relay as much as possible to the potential buyers. The pictures they took were beautiful and almost made us reconsider putting the house on the market. ???? Any questions we had was dealt with swiftly and the whole process has been seemless. Russell, arrived with background info on my property, spent a long time getting to know my plans, explaining the process ect. He also contacted my solicitor of choice, later that day. A previous agent spent approximately 15mins looking then emailed his charges later that day. Holly is also very professional and respectful when showing prospective buyers round.
