As a first time buyer I genuinely can't praise the team at Allen & Harris Dennistoun enough. Initially only called them up to ask if I could set up an email alert for new properties in the area, but Ross was so friendly and charming that before I knew it I'd agreed to a meeting with mortgage advisor Fraser, and I'm glad I did. We'd been let down by other mortgage advisors before, but he got us a fantastic deal and every time we met with him he cut straight through all the noise and got the job done. But the absolute superstar to me is David, who was (and even weeks after settlement, still is) an incredible source of knowledge, support, and advice on every step of the buying process. The team at the Dennistoun branch - David, Ross & Katie - handled my property sale excellently from beginning to end. I wanted an estate agent who understood the value of my property, would communicate well and was invested in my sale. The A&H team at Dennistoun provided a helpful, empathetic, professional service and exceeded my expectations. Communication was excellent throughout the process. They went to great lengths to make sure I was happy with the photographs and schedule details before marketing the property. They handled all viewings and I was confident that they would conduct them with professionalism and care. I used their in-house conveyancers at Mov8 and this meant A&H were able to continue to support me right to the end of the sale. Post offer, they were just as attentive and helpful, answering all of my queries with patience and care. what they done to me was blatant robbery david came out had the sales patter they then arranged to have my house valued and listed I agreed (get independent valuation) I complained the house was under valued david said he would take this up with the surveyor (he didn't) and my house went on to get sold then 3 month after I sold it the person who bought it then sold it through alan and harris with a 10k higher valuation so if you like to have 10k stole from you these people are for you... After months of spinning the wheels and making no progress with finding a property for myself, I luckily walked into the office to book a viewing at a property, and also booked a meeting for the Help To Find service through Ross Elliot! A couple of days later, I had a meeting with Fraser Gough, who almost instantly found me a different property that was exactly what I was looking for, and got me an early viewing, an opportunity to put in an early offer, and that offer then being accepted before any other viewings even happening! From the first call to set up a valuer to come out, we were impressed by Kieran. His warm, genuine, professional manner blew me away. Then when David the valuer came to the property he sealed the deal and we knew we were going to use Allen and Harris. Davids sincerity and care for what he does shone through and he knows his properties inside out. He spoke complete sense and valued our property correctly based on facts and figures from surrounding similar like for like properties. His approach was a breath of fresh air as we have dealt with many other estate agents and been exceptionally unimpressed by their sales pitch and the nonsense they spoke. The entire process was fast, efficient, our property was on the market straight away, they organised the home report directly along with the solicitors quote. Then there is Paula the dark horse in the back ground who pulls the whole thing together adding her professional touch! Even the viewers were all qualified and no time wasters. Terrible valuer was swearing in front of my kids and wanted to deal with sale by getting home report and retention for anything needing done of home report value .he was treating as a forced sale with take what you get attitude no intrest in Good sale value or advice as to how to get better sale..been buying selling property now for 30 years worst Experience I have ever had ended up telling valued he was. being cheeky and had to leave would not recommend to my competition never mind friends...
