Allen and Harris are a amazing company Gemma Millie and George were outstanding,
I don't live in swindon and boy were they helpful every time I had a concern if I couldn't get hold of them as soon as they knew they missed my call they phoned me back,
Any worries I had if I had a concern about the house they were a call away and would check the house they were amazing with the viewings having so many in a few days as its was listed they're advice was beyond helpful,
I couldn't get to Swindon to do the final meter readings and Gemma the manger went and took them even though it wasn't part of her job thank you Gemma so much ill never be able to thank you enough for all your help.
If I had to recommend a estate agent I would highly recommend the lower stratton branch and Gemma team 10/10
(I did had another estate agent look at the property before I put it on the market they were rude pushy horrible,)
(I won't mention they're name but they were very unprofessional)
But Allen and harris and Gemma team were not pushing anything they were kind and held my hand every step of the way as it was my childhood home I had to sell and sad sale.

Millie from Allen and Harris has been absolutely brilliant. We viewed a lot of houses in a short space of time, meaning a lot of interaction with various estate agents too. Millie was by far the most organised and professional person we dealt with. She made booking viewings simple and stress free, was happy to add additional properties to our meetings where possible and had clearly built a good rapport with vendors. She was able to answer most of our questions based on her extensive knowledge of each property and anything she couldn't answer at the time she found out and got back to us about very quickly. So far we have had excellent service from Allen and Harris and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell in comparison to others in the area.

We have found Ashley to be highly skilled. When we found ourselves unsupported by another estate agent he offered us professional advice highlighting the options available to us. Every question or concern we had was listened too and responded too. He was supportive and kind during a really challenging time going above and beyond on so many occasions.
When our contract with the said agent expired we moved over to Allen and Harris. Ashley has continued to be attentive without being pushy, ensuring we have everything we need to ensure a sale on our property.

Recently the flat required a major refurbishment and Bethany Casey, Assistant Manager Lettings in the Swindon Town Centre, College Court office has been organising this for us. She has been efficient, professional, helpful and friendly to work with. We cannot recommend her highly enough. We would have had a very difficult time without her help. Had the misfortune of being in a chain with someone represented by Allen and Harris Stratton. Matthew the branch manager is a strange mixture of pushy and incompetent. It took 8 months, yes, 8 months, for them to find a progressable buyer for our buyer's home, with three failed mortgage applications from buyers who were supposed to be "ready to complete quickly". The constant lying to buy themselves more time, and the punitive terms in the contract for our buyers meant they were trapped by the small print.
Their choice of best offers appeared to favour those who would use Allen & Harris' in-house services, rather than the needs of their client and the chain in the whole, to find a buyer who were satisfactory to high street lenders.
A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience. I would call upon anyone to reconsider their choice of estate agents before instructing Allen & Harris.

We have recently bought our second family home that was listed with Allen & Harris and from the very start we have dealt with Rachel Burt, from requesting more information on the property, Rachel came straight back to us on the phone with more details of the propety, to meeting us at the property for the first time she has always been super friendly and approacable! She didn't pressure us when it was time to put an offer in and since offer to exchange no question or favour has ever been too much, she has been a point of contact and helped us through the whole process and has always got back to you if she was out on other viewings! From when we bought our first property and not having the best experience with another branch of Allen & Harris, the Ermin Street branch and Rachel have really turnt it around for us and have would strongly recommend using this branch!!! From start to finish the team at Ermin street Alan and Harris knew exactly what I wanted and what was needed to sell my property.
Abi and Steve went above and beyond for the minute my put my contracts were signed my property was sold within days above asking price and they even found my future home five stars isn’t enough for this team would highly recommend anyone thinking about selling.
Attention to detail communication and great customer service goes a long way these days. Emails responded to with a very short time always available to talk on the phone what more could you asked for an estate agent!!

I have recently been looking for my first property with my partner and I got told by a family member to use this office as they highly recommended them and told me that the manager Steve had been round to do a valuation on their property before. They said he was one of the nicest gentleman they have ever met. We was greeted by a lady called Abi, who has shown us a couple of properties and went above and beyond for us. Abi explained the whole process to us as we have never done this before. We would highly recommend this office to anyone, the customer service was amazing and were both so helpful.

A+H appeared the most enthusiastic of the 3 agents competing for the commission. They also offered the lowest fee, and were duly appointed. Details of the property were prepared promptly, and an advert placed on Zoopla. So far so good, but nothing much happened beyond this point. A+H managed to attract only 4 viewings before their 8 week sole agency was terminated at its conclusion. Telephone and email feedback from the agent was non existent. To be fair A+H have a web site which displays progress with sales, but there was insufficient activity to render this useful. I was left wondering what was going on; with hindsight I know it was very little!

My sister and her husband was looking to buy their first house, wasted their time and money. Waited for them to pay for everything, At the end they decided to sell the house to someone else. Everytime they try to contact them, they will say that they got some other call to receive and would contact them asap but never did. They even talked with the manager Stephen but he hanged up the phone on them.
Talked with this lady named Gemma and she said “if you want to complain then here’s a email you can complain”.
We have had bought houses from other agencies before and never had these kind of problems, really disappointed.
They have spent months trying to buy the house they liked. All the stresses they have gone through. They could have looked for other houses but the agency said dont worry you will get this house from the start.
Don’t waste your time on this agency.
