I am so glad I went with Aikman Bell to sell my flat. I had no experience in this at all and was initially daunted by the task, but Stewart made it so easy. Stewart took care of everything pre-sale, including very helpful and easy to action advice on getting the flat ready for viewings, and was always warm and professional in his approach. Since the flat sold, Peter has been equally brilliant in handling the legal side - always clear and responsive, and making it feel very easy. Recently sold a property in Edinburgh using Aikman Bell to handle everything and they did exactly that. What a truly impressive, professional service they deliver. Stewart handled all aspects of preparing the property for sale from sound advice to handling contractors, surveys, the lot. And he did it with a quiet, smooth efficiency with no drama and with our interests at the heart of everything. The property sold within a week for an excellent price. My experience with Aikman Bell is extremely positive. After contacting them for an initial quote their estate agent Stewart Black was quickly on the case. Within days he’d arranged for the home report to be done and a week later my property was on the market. I felt absolute confidence in Stewart’s knowledge of the local market. He seemed well informed on what price I might be able to get and how best to market the property and helped me to get a much higher price for my property than I was expecting. He was very friendly to work with, flexible with availability (I sometimes had to call outside of normal working hours) and extremely efficient. I felt that he really went the extra mile in helping me sell my place. When it came to the legal side of things Peter Aikman was completely on the case too. He’s very professional, efficient and quickly got on with things. I’m still in disbelief by how fast they were able to sell my flat, with minimal fuss, and that they were able to get me such a good price for it.
