The sales manager James had kindly advised me on this property for a number of years with genuine and objective advice. Pervin, working with James, navigated the sale mechanics, lethargic solicitors and thorny management companies brilliantly. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with and represent a rare breed of estate agents who have much more than just aggressive marketing in their toolbox. James is a real artist in dealmaking and we need more agents like you!

All the staff I dealt with on the phone, via email and in person (Elliott, Bobby, Adam, Bradley, Billy) were polite, professional and helpful. They gave sound advice and kept me up to date with progress. I'm pleased this independent business is successful as it deserves to do well.

17th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)Alessandra and Hanan were extremely helpful and professional throughout our apartment rental agreement. Despite several external delays that were outside of everyone’s control, Alessandra remained fully committed to supporting us in completing the agreement. She was proactive and consistently took action to help move the process forward including consistently chasing third party operators. Even when we faced external obstacles that could have slowed everything down, she did everything within her capacity to mobilise the necessary steps and accommodate our requests.<br><br>Hanan was equally diligent and supportive. She ensured that both the tenant’s and the landlord’s rights were protected and handled appropriately. She provided clear guidance on both minor and major matters and was consistently responsive, even at short notice.

He is an excellent agent who managed to arrange everything for my flat rental in the shortest possible time. Despite it being a day off, he was incredibly attentive to my needs, understanding the urgency of the situation, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. His professionalism, respectful approach, and efficiency made all the difference. From the very first enquiry to moving in, the whole process was smooth and stress-free. The communications were friendly, responsive, and Bambos was always happy to answer my questions. I was kept well informed at every stage, and made what can often be a daunting process feel straightforward and well managed. I really appreciated the transparency. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to rent – great service

Buying my first home felt like a big deal, and these guys were there 24/7 for support and guidance. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
11th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)The worst estate agent I’ve ever come across. We arranged a viewing and it was cancelled twice, and that too an hour before. Marley was rude and unapologetic. I would think twice before selling or buying from this agent!

25th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)I wrote the review below some 3 yrs ago and I would now like to update it as follows:<br><br>I have had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a different Lettings Agent as that property unfortunately falls outside of Neilson & Bauer’s territory.<br><br>This has only reinforced my belief that Neilson & Bauer, led by their down to earth, tell it as it is, legendary, Don Lacovara are THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS.<br><br>I have had to repeatedly turn to Don’s good nature and ask him about the various different and somewhat frustrating approaches and ways of doing business this other agent has and Don has obliged by calmly guiding me through this turmoil.<br><br>I think it is about time that Neilson & Bauer expand their regional reach.<br><br>Written 3 yrs agp:<br>I am always taken aback at how professional, efficient and effective Neilson Bauer are in getting the job done. Don in charge of lettings is my go to person when I need a flat let.

Ercan was consistently professional, responsive, and very clear in his communication.
