After my property being on the market with another agent for 12 months, I moved to Alan Batt. I feel they gave the correct advise and marketed the property well. Seven weeks later the property sold. The staff at Alan Batt are exceptionally professional and lovely to deal with and I highly recommend them. The biggest companies are not always the best.... Read more

Unfortunately my experience with Alan Batt isn't a great one. The sales pitch is scripted and mainly involves bad-mouthing local agents, and boasting about how many followers he has on social media, which was immediately off putting. As a surveyor myself, I had a very good idea of what my property was worth, and it was a great deal greater than what Alan thought I could get. He valued my house at offers in the region of £130,000, and claimed he could sell my house within a week... but also claimed houses that sell quickly are undervalued. I wasn't impressed with Alans approach to valuation, and instead went with another local agent who had a completely different and friendlier approach. My house sold for £150,000 ... £20,000 over what Alan had valued it at. If I'd of chosen to sell my house through Alan, I would've lost money that my house deserved. I don't usually write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one, in the hope it could push a seller to another agent that will inevitably get them more money towards their next move....
