We cannot praise Archer & Co with Abbie Drew (Monmouth) highly enough. They provided an excellent service - professional and supportive - throughout the whole process of selling our house.
When the house was first put on the market, we liked their policy for the whole office-based team come out on an initial visit so that they can have a picture in their minds of the house they are selling.
Communication throughout the year that our house was on the market was excellent. The process of negotiating with the buyer and the post-offer communications were efficient and we had confidence that our best interests were always looked after.
Finally, during the stressful stage towards the end of the house sale, when various issues arose, we felt supported and always felt able to call in for a reassuring chat or telephone for advice.
Abbie and Richard were just brilliant - we couldn't have been in better hands and we highly recommend them.
We should also mention Catherine Felton-Blyth (Sales Progressor) who especially supported us during the difficult time around exchange and completion dates - she was superb.

We asked four agencies to pitch, and went with Archers, primarily because Abbie felt genuine, trustworthy and honest about what the house was worth. Other agencies had given valuations which felt attractive but suggested guide prices felt like vanity prices. Actually Abbie suggested the lowest asking price but we believed that she would secure that price and she did, because she had valued according to the market conditions. A strategy which really made sense to us.
I called up a lot and found Abbie, Richard and Sophie extremely professional and responsive, which is crucial as a client. I must admit sometimes I just wanted reassurance and a hand-hold for our probate sale of the family home, a time that was really sad and emotional for us. The team did exactly that and surpassed our expectations.
The team handled my stream of questions with ease, and I trusted them and their decisions. Feedback on viewings came promptly and was much appreciated. The brochure came out very nicely, as did the photography and the drone shots. I appreciated the market update emails, they were informative and relevant.
I wholeheartedly recommend Archers and Abbie, Richard and Sophie, they really did make things easy and took the stress out of everything. We are very grateful to them.

I always got a helpful response, most times immediately. If it wasn't immediate then I always received a call back same day. No one ever forgot. Ours was not a straightforward sale and took many months but I could always rely on Anthony to help.

A couple of years ago when we were looking at renting, we viewed a place with Parry's. They were quick to dismiss us, and then when we said we'd like to apply they wanted our age to give to the landlord, I mentioned that I didn't understand why age mattered (I was 23, I had the same job since 19), and the member of staff quickly got rude and hostile towards me. Would never consider viewing any properties with this company again.

Extremely disappointed with the Lettings department of Parrys in Monmouth.
Completely overpromised and underdelivered. After a number of viewings and building what I thought was a rapport with the letting agent and a lot of promises, I never heard back from her again. This was regarding a landlord decision on an offer and viewing a property she had told me would be suitable for my family and I. A very disappointing experience with Parrys Lettings.
