This is the second time we have used Bloor; we didn't use them last time, but we did use them the time before that (read between the lines about the last one...).
Same as the first time - competitively priced, sensible valuation, and quick to find us a buyer. We went on the market, got the asking price, and completed within 10 weeks.
Neal, Joanne and Rachel are all very professional, very helpful and bent over backwards when we needed them to.
Cannot recommend highly enough - we probably won't move again, but if we did, I wouldn't hesitate to use Bloors again.

Without previous engagements with Bloor & Co I decided to use them to sell my parents home as they are a long established local estate agency. Very approachable and personable. Their fees are reasonable too and there is no 'hard sell'. They have secured an offer we are happy with, within a week and a half of our property going on the market. A lovely family business who genuinely care about their clients and know the sector extremely well. Would definitely recommend.

Joanne arranged the sale of 2 rental properties passed to us by our parents – one was a residential property and one a rental in Sheffield. The service was superb – as we were not present, Joanne organised keys and viewings. The first property sold very quickly and effortlessly and fetched a good price. With the rental property, she advised us to work with an auctioneer (Mark Jenkinson) and co-ordinated all the dealings between us and them. She arranged for the auctioneer to come to the house and advise on the strategy, guide price and work required and recommended and co-ordinated locksmiths, electricians and clearance companies. Indeed, Joanne also attended the auction and we were glad to report that we obtained over the guide price. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bloor – you are in safe hands, communication is effortless and you are guided through the process at all times. Thank you – excellent service !

I was a tenant at a property let by Bloor & Co between Oct 2014 and July 2016. Although their fee pricing was fairly competitive they were unwilling to prompt the landlord to resolve issues with the property. They were very poor during my time leaving, forcing me (by refusing to return my deposit) to tidy a communal garden, which I had done previously without the help of other tenants (who had separate apartments) (even though I had discussed that there should be a better system - perhaps an increase in rent of all the properties associated so that a gardener could be employed to ensure fairness). They then proceeded to chase me over a very small utilities bill that fell over 8 days (four days at the end of my tenancy and four days before the next tenants started- this time was the landlords responsibility). In the end npower told me that the agency should of contacted them directly.

Bloor and Co were a helpful and professional estate agent. They would deal with my requests or issues as quickly as they could. When I recieved unwarranted noise complaints*, Bloor & Co's first position was on our side, assuming that the neighbors were being overly sensitive (which they were). This is refreshing, previous estate agents have assumed that, as I'm young, that I would be noisy. I would highly recommend Bloor & Co as an estate agent!
It's just a shame that my landlord was on the slow side, but then Bloor and Co would chase my slow landlord, even contacting their family to get through to them.
*the people downstairs didn't like use walking in our kitchen or us using our washing machine during the afternoon...

Excellent from start to finish. We lived in two rented properties with Bloor, and for the full time we only had great service. Any issues were resolved as quickly as possible, there were no hidden fees, and they even allowed us to extend our contract by a few days at the end when we encountered some problems with our new property (with another agent as we had to move city). Would encourage everyone to visit them in person and chat to them - they help find the right place for you.

I've never encountered a company with such poor Customer Service. Bloor lack compassion and clarity in their communication with tenants. This is an example of how a family business can fail its customers repeatedly. The shining example of this comes from Martin Bloor himself.

Me and my partner rented with Bloor for 18 months. We always received a very friendly service. We never had any issues with the house we were renting or with Bloor. When the landlady decided to sell the house Bloor were really understanding and very helpful in making sure our move was quick,easy and hassle free. We have been renting out our properties for 14 years and have been with Bloor for the last two. It makes me weep to think of all the years we didn't have them as our agent. We managed the properties ourselves for several years and then had an agent who took the monthly fee but did absolutely nothing for it, Bloor are a rare breed - an estate agent who give exceptional service. We have complete confidence in them. They deal with everything without bothering us unless a job needs doing; in which case they contact us quickly and the cost is always extremely reasonable; we never feel ripped off. We are now selling one of the houses and have no hesitation whatsoever but to let Bloor sell it for us. From the other side, the tenants are also very happy with them. You couldn't get a better agent. I find the one star ratings highly suspicious and the comments are total rubbish.

Having rented from Bloor & Co for a number of years, we've found our experience to be nothing short of exceptional. Everyone we've ever spoken to at Bloor has been helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. From day 1, we were given every bit of information and help we needed, and everything was explained to us simply. We were talked through every aspect of the contract face to face, which really reassured us at the time. Nothing was hidden and everything was done to make sure we were happy with it. Even after moving in, they still go out of their way to make sure issues with the house are resolved quickly (a broken shower fixed same day, you can't argue with that) and at a time to suit us. If we ever just need to talk about a small query to them, they always have the time to talk to us about it, and you always feel like you're being listened to. I also like the fact that on house inspections, we always had the same person visiting, and that made me feel a lot more at ease about it. Andrew was always very friendly, easy to talk to and genuinely helped with any questions we had. Overall, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I am very impressed with every aspect of service we have received, which is why I was so compelled to write a review.

Before you sign the contract they're polite and helpful but as soon as you sign the contract they will become rude and unhelpful!
They won't take responsibility for anything something that i never came across before i rent a house through them won't recommend it to anyone.
Unfortunately there is no zero star which they deserve!!
