The care and attention that I was given by Robin and his team (including Joe & Rose) has been second to none, above and beyond. I was selling my father’s home and I lived a few hours away and worked full-time, so was not able to attend to certain in-person things. Robin gave me peace and assurance that he would be able to take care of certain things that I was unable e.g. keeping an eye on the property for insurance purposes, taking meter readings, letting various companies into my dad’s home, propping up a fence that fell over in the wind, etc. He was ever so helpful and mindful. It was clearly evident how well Robin leads his team – from beginning to end, it was so well managed, even compensating and helping to expedite matters with (my poor experience with) the solicitors. They made the whole process much easier. I cannot recommend them more highly.

From the first contact with Bowden Bradley to completion of my late mother’s house, the service we received from all concerned we could not fault.
Megan was the first person who assisted with setting up everything required, offering a helping hand when needed.
Viewings all set up, advised accordingly. Website updated and email reminders sent.
Although a couple of holdups along the way, we felt everything was being dealt with our concerns in timely way.
Millie was always on the end of the phone and kept us up-to-date at all times ensuring contact with our solicitor running smoothly.
The family very pleased with Bowden Bradley and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I honestly can’t fault this estate agency!! The whole team has been absolutely amazing. Special mention to Ryan, who was fantastic at listing the property and negotiating the 5 offers they got me, and Megan for arranging the photographs, board, and getting the property online so smoothly. The advertising has been fantastic with professional photos.
The sales team were brilliant, especially Luse, Ellen, and Buse, who booked over 30+ viewings and helped generate multiple offers. Emilea was an outstanding sales progresser, I never once had to chase her, she was completely on the ball at every stage. Thank you as well to Joe and Robin for always being there to dip in whenever needed.
The property sold within a week to an amazing buyer, which made it possible for me to move into my dream home. Anyone looking to buy or sell should definitely give this team a call! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

The Material Information Pack was clearly provided online before submitting an offer, making the process transparent and straightforward.

Thanks to Bowden and Bradley for making my sale go through within 2-3 weeks I sold but it took over 4 / 5 months to complete as my purchase didn’t completed till Dec. My house sold in June and I gave on offer for the house I like in July and the buyer wasn’t keen and slow which delayed the process but the estate agent were calm and we finally completed in Dec. No gifts for me but I like their service as I went from YOPA who took my money and didn’t sale for a year so hats off to Bowden and Bradley, you are an amazing team who work really well and truly honestly speaking u are best on the market , you sale every house on the market. Sorry for the delay in writing this review. I am freed so was able to write all the reviews, you stayed in connection with solicitor, mortgage advisor and purchase estate agent which was good to keep everyone connected and informed of the updated. Have a wonderful year ahead.

Very disappointing experience. It took nearly a week just to clarify that I we have own broker and would not be using their preferred one. The company kind of “refuses” to let you proceed with a property purchase unless you use their in-house mortgage broker, which is both restrictive and unprofessional.
I have been buying and selling properties for over 20 years, and I have never encountered such an unprofessional team. The behaviour is shocking for a so-called ‘5-star’ estate agency. It is genuinely surprising how they have so many positive reviews — one can only wonder if these are from friends or family.
Update – response to your reply
Utter nonsense.
We provided a valid DIP and a sufficient deposit, which could have been increased if required. Your agent even stated that “the DIP can be doctored”, effectively suggesting submitting a fake document — completely unacceptable.
I never claimed our offer should have been accepted the property; that is the vendor’s decision. However, our offer was left unanswered for nearly 10 days, and it’s hard not to question whether the eventual buyer used your in-house broker. ( pretty sure they are ????)
Unprofessional and opaque. Proceed with caution.
As for the 342 five-star reviews — draw your own conclusions who's writing them .

We had to sell our property quickly and BB were there to assist. We met on Monday and by Wednesday the photos had been taken and the property was on the market. They had multiple prospective clients plus more from Rightmove and other social media. We managed to sell our property multiple times over (not their fault) and when we finally got there in the end, they did everything they could to get it done quickly and efficiently.

Well who knew that moving could be such a joy! From start to finish the whole team at Bowden Bradley ensured that we were well looked after. We had some terrible experiences with other agents that quite simply wanted the business but didn’t really care about what was right for us. From the very first pitch with Ryan I knew there was something different. Their approach was fresh, exciting and had vision. We liked the social media presence, drone shots and professional photography that Bowden offered - not just your average agent. Viewings were handled with such professionalism and they made sure they knew everything about the property before each viewing - even the questions we would have forgotten! Ellen in particular went above and beyond. When we had to take a pause on things due to a sudden bereavement, Joe was understanding and considerate, never putting any pressure on us. We want to thank Emilea, Robin and the team at Bowden and Bradley for their amazing work and commitment to helping us find our perfect home just in time for our wedding. Unfortunately we had to pull out of an initial home we put an offer on due to the onward chain taking too long. This left us with around 8-12 weeks to have another home completed in time for us to move into for our wedding. Robin was amazing at arranging viewings for us at all times of day and making sure we were happy and satisfied with what we were looking into buying. Emilea then helped with making the process so easy and smooth - as we also had our wedding planning stress going on at the same time - but they literally made sure the property was completed within about 8 weeks of us viewing it and putting an offer down - they did all the chasing for us and they also recommended us amazing solicitors and a mortgage broker- who again made this process so easy for us. Without doubt the best agency in Chigwell and surrounding areas. We have worked with Robin before and his professionalism, attention to detail and genuine sincerity is unparalleled, until we met Joe, who has the same qualities in equal measure. We needed to put our family home on rent, and felt we would need to make a compromise on something in order to get it rented on time. However, from the outset Joe assured us he would never compromise on the quality of tenant and would always achieve the best price for us and the tenant. I was super impressed how quickly Joe found a quality tenant at the price we wanted. We love our home but I think Joe cares about it more than we do, which is amazing! I can't thank Bowden Bradley enough they have been totally outstanding and a step above every other agent I have ever met .
The first day I met Joe my house was on the market very rapidly and had viewings flooding in straight away and found me a buyer over these tough times in the housing market.
Joe and Oliver had viewings booked in every week and were always on time and the feedback was very quick .
Once I accepted the offer Emilea took over progression of the sale .
My buyers came into a few issues with there finances and Emilea worked extra hard to deal with all other parties that were involved and kept me totally updated every step of the way until the sale was finally complete .
I very rarely recommend anybody but Bowden Bradley is top of the list
