I moved into the apartment in early April 2025, and since then it has been great. However, some of the other tenants tried to make the place a living hell for me. They were picking on me and doing all kinds of negative things just to frustrate me and push me out of the property, possibly because I am not White. I was deeply hurt and almost moved out.
However, when I reported this to Buttercross, Amber took it up immediately. She assured me to stay strong, remain calm, relax, and feel comfortable, reminding me that the apartment is for everyone and that nobody is more superior or more important than anyone else.
Amber assured me that we all have equal rights in the property regardless of our personalities. She said she would handle the situation with the utmost respect so that everyone could live peacefully. She also told me that if, after her efforts, I still felt uncomfortable, she would support me in looking for another place if needed.
Amber took a bold step and resolved the problems quickly.
She has always given me a listening ear whenever I have raised concerns about the property, such as maintenance issues with my room heating, shower, or other things in the apartment.
Honestly, the main reason I am still living in this property today is because of Amber. She is such a fearless and courageous lady. I truly appreciate everything she has done for me, especially for helping me regain my peace back.

Hi. My experience in the beginning of tenancy was great. Quick move in more than helpful. But as new residents moved in who bullied me and then buttercross saying they won't help me move to another accommodation because of what these other 2 residents was saying. They made me feel unwelcome telling lies for then to get a response bk from buttercross like that was an awful thing to do. Very helpful in beginning. Also the room is a health hassard. Ive had numerous trips to drs because struggling to breath in close stuffy room i felt physical ill all the time now I've spent 4nights at my new flat I can breath again and stopped paying for taxies and delivery because I can walk now that cost me money. Again the 2women were bullies and not fare gettingva comment bk from ourself u won't help me move that really upset me

When an estate agent takes the time to contact you with updates and ensures your buyers are well informed then at least one half of the process is stress free. I’m shocked and saddened that such disregard for people exists. However with Buttercross it certainly does. If you are a landlord and or tenant to be I would advise to seek alternative accommodation and or find a different letting agent . Please check up coming social media posts about recent breaches to recent tenants

Sharing a review as a landlord whose property was let and managed for the last 7 years by Buttercross Estates - they really are a shining star of letting agents.
They always seemed to find really decent, honest tenants, who stayed for long periods of time.
They are excellent at managing the day to day ups and downs of being a landlord, and always got things sorted as well as being responsive.
A special mention to the current Lettings Manager Erica - she really is exemplary. Professional, knowledgeable, calm, reassuring, and really very efficient.
She also guided us through the ending of our tenancy, which was very tricky (due to our personal circumstances nothing to do with the tenant or Buttercross) and she just sorted it all - a first class service.
We will no longer be landlords, but if we do go into it again, these guys will be first port of call. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Buttercross Estate agents very professional especially Pippa, she is compassionate , empathetic and there is never to much for her . She was keeping constant communications between us and the seller as well as chasing our solicitor. Pippa made sure everything was done or getting done in a timely manner so we could complete as soon as possible. Between large amount of calls back and forth she never sounded annoyed as no question was a stupid question. Pippa has explained everything in grate detail as buying first house and not knowing what comes next is very daunting so we had millions of questions and our solicitor was no help.
She was like and angel I we could not thank her enough for everything she has done as without her sale probably not have happened due to lack of communication from our solicitor ect..
