Choosing Connells to market my property was absolutely the right decision. From my very first interaction, I have been genuinely impressed with the professionalism and quality of service provided by the entire team.
My initial conversation was with Aimee, the Branch Manager, and her approach immediately stood out. She took the time to truly listen, asking thoughtful and insightful questions that demonstrated a genuine interest in understanding exactly what I was looking for in an estate agent.
The next stage was meeting Adam at the property for the valuation and to discuss Connells’ approach and points of differentiation. Having already met with several other local agents, I was in a strong position to compare — and Adam set himself apart. He arrived thoroughly prepared, had clearly done his homework, and demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge about both the property and the local market. His professionalism and confidence gave me real reassurance that my sale would be handled with expertise.
Since then, I have also interacted with Emily and other members of the branch. As a team, they are efficient, knowledgeable, proactive, and consistently quick to respond. Communication has been excellent throughout. Aimee, in particular, has gone above and beyond on several occasions, which has made a real difference during what can often be a stressful process.
It is genuinely refreshing to work with an estate agent that delivers such a consistently high level of customer service. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area.

Adam Goodall has been extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful from the moment we had contact with him.
When we approached Connells to provide a valuation for probate purposes, Adam came prepared with all the relevant information and had researched the area of recent sales and showed my husband the portfolios of properties in the area to explain and justify his valuation of our property.
He was very knowledgeable about the property and area and provided us with an honest assessment and opinion of the appropriate value of the house. He had certainly researched into the nearby properties and area before coming which was a huge step above other estate agents who we asked to provide a Probate valuation.
He respected our wishes to be left alone until after Christmas until we were in a position to put the house on the market. We never felt pressurised.
My husband felt instantly at ease with Adam after his first meeting with him and was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge of the area and honesty. He had faith in Adam and found him very personable which made it a very easy decision to instruct Connells to market the property.
The whole instruction process was dealt with efficiently and promptly and we were kept informed of every step. The communication so far has been excellent with emails and text messages being sent for every confirmed viewing and cancellation. We received a weekly marketing report after the first full week of the house being on the market.
We have just received an offer today after only 9 days which we have accepted. The official offer letter was sent out tonight so we are very impressed by the progress made within a few hours of the acceptance of the offer.
We would definitely recommend Adam and the team at Connells Bushey if you’re looking to sell your property.

I can honestly highly recommend Connells Estate Agents Bushey. I received an exceptional service from Adam Goodall and all the team.
From the initial contact over a year prior to my decision to finally sell my property, the team at Connells touched base with me at the agreed regular 6 monthly intervals. This impressed me as at no stage did I feel harassed or pressured to sell.
Based on this, I instructed Connells Bushey to sell my house.
The process was surprisingly seamless, easy and straightforward. All members of the team were professional, friendly, enthusiastic, proactive, and positive at all times. They communicated effectively and provided excellent advice and guidance.
They gave me an honest market appraisal, and guided me to a realistic price that would deliver a successful outcome. This was clearly preferable than promising an unachievable goal. I had every confidence that the team would be able to deliver a successful sale.
Adam and all the team members worked incredibly hard to tightly manage viewings by potential buyers, so as to minimise disruption to the tenant renting my property. They communicated with me constantly, ensuring that I knew what was happening regarding the viewings, and relaying the feedback from potential buyers.
When multiple offers were received, they handled negotiations expertly, securing me the asking price from a purchaser best placed to complete the sale process.
Everyone genuinely seemed to care about delivering the best outcome and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention regarding Adam Goodall, who went over and above that which would be expected. There were so many extra helpful acts, such as liaising with the tenant for us when they failed to move out on the scheduled date, and arranging a contractor to remove the clutter left behind by the tenant.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending Connells Bushey, and I give them 10/10 for the excellent service I received.

Connells Bushey are selling my house (sold stc) - I have to confess they were not originally my first choice of local agent but Adam Goodall came out to do a valuation and not only sold Connells services to me but he sold himself. It’s difficult to relay just how stressful buying and selling a home can be but having an agent who have staff who genuinely couldn’t be more professional but at the same time “hold your hand” goes a long way in making the process just that little bit easier. Nothing has been too much trouble. The house was under offer within the week !! Adam Goodall broke the record of receiving an offer to sell! We went to him on Thursday, and by Wednesday the following week we had an offer that was the asking price! He was so efficient in his communication, so fast in evaluating and booking viewings. On the same day that we went to sign the contract, he already had a viewer for us. Won't elaborate on personal experience from this Connell's as I've already lodged a complaint through their compliance team (which I'm yet to recieve a response to). However I will say the general experiences listed in reviews here are indicative of a sellers experience. From a buyers perspective I would wholeheartedly avoid- their sales tactics feel scummy and their general attitude was abhorrent. Special mention to branch partner Aimee, who was particularly dismissive and unprofessional. I'd sooner find myself homeless before buying a house through these guys.

Out of all the estate agents we contacted when looking to buy our house, Connells were by far the least polite or professional.
When booking a viewing we were pushed to offer our maximum budget, renovation budget, and overall finance details that were not relevant as we already confirmed we had a DIP for the asking price and the appropriate deposit.
Then comments were made about our budget and the agent was quite sarcastic in tone, wishing us good luck to find the home we wanted for the budget we had.
The staff were rude, condescending and arrogant. We went on to the viewing with another agent (which went well) but weren't even given a callback as promised.
From what I've read on other reviews too, a bit of quality assurance could help.

First viewing booked with them after some back and forth, the original agreed time is changed the day before without our approval.
Nevertheless we drive 30 minutes, get to the property, wake up our sleeping toddler and run to the door in the torrential rain just to be told by the owner that he is not home and the estate agent is not answering their phone.
Try to call from our side too and again no answer. So after 10/15 minutes waiting in the rain, we are back in our car for another half an hour drive for absolute no reason.
Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Never again.

I had a terrible experience with Connells and would not recommend them at all. After giving them three months to sell my property, they failed miserably. They sent unqualified buyers who were completely uninterested, wasting my time and money.
To make matters worse, I was misled about the contract terms. They claimed I was stuck in a 26-week sole agency agreement, and when I tried to exit, they stopped me from approaching any other agents for no good reason. It felt like they were just trying to keep me from selling my property.
Overall, I found the service unprofessional and frustrating. I will never use them again and advise others to steer clear!

During our first meeting Adam made me feel comfortable selling my property with Connells.
He provided me with many different selling options and helped me to make a decision.
Communication leading up to the viewings was excellent and Connells sold my property within 1 week of the advert going live. I also achieved a higher price than their competitors suggested I would (I met with several estate agents to discuss my sale).
Aimee was excellent post offer and was quick to respond to emails and available on the phone whenever I needed her. Her and Adam make a great team and are both lovely people.
Overall I'm really impressed with Connells. Their approach made me feel like they had my best interests at heart and i would recommend highly.

We chose Connells to sell our house over their competitors because of the enthusiasm and the vibe we got from Adam when he came to value it. We agreed on the price and photographs were taken two days later. Aimee and the team arranged two open house viewings a couple of days apart, and we had a full price offer the day after the second viewing. Everyone has acted with professionalism, courtesy and were respectful of our home throughout.
Communication has been excellent throughout with any queries being dealt with smoothly and promptly.
We are still going through the process but would highly recommend Connells if you are looking to sell your property and agree with previous reviews, they do absolutely deserve a five-star rating.

Buying a first house is always a nerve-wracking experience as there are lots of things one isn't aware of. I was the same but Pawan Aggarwall from the Connells Bushey branch was a massive help in finding the best mortgage deal for me. Duentonmy credit situation I was unable to get mortgage offers from my bank or other mortgage advisors , however Pawan went above and beyond to get me a affordable mortgage . I wasn't going to leave a review.. rather let sleeping dogs lie. However, I'm still being harassed by Connells to market my property after experiencing such an appalling service from this company!!!!
At first contact with Brandon at Connells Estate Agents in Bushey Hertfordshire. He seemed very trustworthy, he promised so much but sadly delivered so very little.
I've never experienced such a lack of communication, professionalism, and broken promises from a company.. especially during such a troubling time after the loss of a family member.
After signing on the dotted line it was hard to get hold of Brandon.. we had very little viewings after doing everything we were advised, even decorated the whole property to find out absolutely no viewings would be set up from this point. Our property was also taken off the market without prior notice (supposedly by accident) photos or key features weren't updated as requested. We were constantly chasing Brandon and Adam L for updates because there was such poor communication from the outset. All in all, we wasted 3 months with Connells in Bushey, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, as they were making no money out of a no sale.
Just to show you how incompetent they were.. after our 3 month contract ended with Connells - within 10 days of signing up with a new estate agent, our property was sold!!!
Hopefully this review will help other clients to be dealt with more efficiently or sway them to bypass Connells estate agents in Bushey all together; after we had such a bad experience with them.

Despite buying my property with this agent a few years ago and therefore keen to also sell with them, the service has been appalling and I have now taken my business elsewhere.
After having to highlight the importance of communication with myself and why replying to emails and phone calls was essential to selling! I was appalled to find that after 4 months, it was taken off the website/Zoopla etc with no discussion or communication with myself. If I had not raised this an issue I wonder how long I would have continued to assume the team were actively trying to sell it? When I raised this via email and phone, none of these were replied to and staff actively denied it being removed. Now having spoken to other agents, I understand that they would have had to authourise its removal from their website and partner sites. Simply put, don't sell or let with this company, totally shambolic service.
