Do NOT recommend. I’m a long term landlord but am leaving as soon as I can. Despite the tenants paying on time, I am currently owed 3 months rent. Plenty of empty promises, unanswered phone calls and unresponded emails. Extremely unprofessional. I should not have to constantly chase for my rent payments.

They made moving in easy and have been supportive whenever we needed assistance. We’ve had a very good experience overall and appreciate their professional service.

I’ve been living in a studio apartment in New Malden since January 2024, which I rented through Coopers Residential Ltd. The whole experience has been smooth and professional from the beginning. The team made the process simple, were clear with communication, and always helpful whenever I had a question. I’m really happy with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place.

Absolutely appalling service . They were managing 2 of my properties , the tenants were paying rent on time to coopers but they were not paying me and I was constantly having to chase them for my money. They would not reply to my calls emails or any messages

I strongly advise against engaging with this company. My mother, a retired individual, had a regrettable experience with them. They initially presented her with a contract specifying a certain value but later issued invoices with a different amount, contradicting the agreed-upon terms. I possess all the invoices that clearly indicate the agreed-upon price of £850, including statements indicating zero pounds in arrear rents.
Despite maintaining up-to-date rent payments as evidenced by the invoices, the company attempted to claim rent owed from five years ago when they decided to terminate her lease. This situation has left me contemplating legal action against them.
Furthermore, the company's office appears disorganized, which raises concerns about their property management practices. The person in charge, Shirley, exhibits an unprofessional and intrusive demeanor , often resorting to sarcasm as a means of communication.

Please be extra cautious if using this company to let your property, particularly if they offer you one of their ‘guaranteed rent’ agreements. The reality is that the rent is not ‘guaranteed’ and in my case I was left with a property in a very poor state and with various items missing and that Coopers failed to ensure were added correctly to the inventory. I now need to pursue legal action to recover the remaining cost.
Also, be aware of bonded deposit arrangements, which are held by allegedly independent 3rd parties and which are facilitated by the ‘tenant’ but which are not protected. I understand that Coopers have several properties under the same arrangement with the same ‘tenant’ Ethical Lettings.
There is a saying - you get what you pay for in life. Don’t be fooled by the low management fees - unless of course you want a low standard of property management. The property ombudsman TPS recently upheld a complaint I made against Coopers for poor management.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend this agency. Few reason why:
- booked appointment was forgotten
- emails barely ever replied or replied later
- at the end, when we wanted to rent the place, we received an email that suddenly landlord decided to sell the place

Scam!!! Please avoid!! I've already reported to Zoopla our awful experiences with this company! We've scheduled 2 viewings with them and they let us wait in the front of proprties and never show up! Such a disgrace!!
