Curran & Co were recommended to us by a neighbour and they did not disappoint. Blair was with us all the way from initial contact to point of sale and it really felt like a personal service. He listened to us throughout the marketing/viewing stage and we talked on a near daily basic. We felt had Blair a fantastic knowledge of the housing market, especially in the west of Edinburgh and this is the reason we chose Curran & Co to market our property in Murrayfield. Blair was so helpful to my Brother and I when we sold my Mum’s home which was vacant . It was difficult for us as neither of us live anywhere near Edinburgh , I live in England and my Brother in the USA, so he had to go over and above to assist us including arranging for the furniture to be removed. He was always on hand if I had any problems and secured the valuation price for us which we were happy to accept , having had lower offers previously. Curran and Co were, by far, the best estate agents we’ve ever used and I would not hesitate to recommend them. This was our first time selling a property and Blair helped this go very smoothly and hassle free. Curran & Co came highly recommended by my parents when they sold their property earlier this year. From the first meeting with Blair we knew we had made the correct choice. This was our first time selling a property so we were in the dark about the process but Blair continually reassured us with any questions we had. Blair set up a WhatsApp chat to keep us up to date with everything going on which was really helpful. He was always a phone call away whenever we needed something. Blair was on the ball with booking viewings and didn’t overwhelm us with a large number on any given day. Blair of Curran and Co Property was absolutely amazing from start to finish when selling my property. They were quick off the mark when we moved house 'backwards' by buying somewhere new before we were even on the market. Blair was able to get photos (which came out amazing!), home report and marketing literature/online adverts all sorted in about a week which was amazing. I was really impressed with the wealth of knowledge he had during the selling process, no question seemed daft to him and he was able to explain everything really clearly for me if I wasn't sure on something. Great to be able to deal with only one person from start to finish. Although initially hesitant about not being advertised in the ESPC, we had a huge number of viewers and achieved a sale price over value after only a short time on the market, testament to how much enthusiasm and hard work that Blair (and Lucy) put into our sale. Blair was professional, patient, and knowledgeable and we trusted his advice. The solicitor, home report surveyor and mortgage advisor Blair works with were also fantastic and it was convenient to be able to do everything through Curran & Co. Emails were answered promptly and we were given office and mobile numbers so we felt as though we could contact them with any queries as they arose. I cannot thank Curran & Co Property enough for the incredible service they provided whilst selling my flat. It far exceeded my expectations, and I could not have asked for a better sale! Timeframe was important to me, and the whole process from deciding to put my flat on the market to accepting an offer only took 2 weeks! From the very start I was put at ease; Blair has a very caring manner about him, and it quickly became apparent that he genuinely wants to offer the best customer service and experience possible. Nothing was too much for either him or Lucy. Blair dealt with everything from the valuation, organising the home report, photos and marketing the property which made for a very smooth process. I always knew who I would be dealing with, and he made sure that he knew as much about my property as possible. This was important to me as I knew he was able to discuss all aspects of my property with prospective buyers and answer their questions efficiently. In fact, I think pretty much everyone who came through my door commented on how great my estate agent was! I was always consulted about viewings and received any feedback in a quick and timely fashion. Five days in and we had an offer and notes of interest! This was obviously great but now it came down to making important decisions and I felt I really needed some professional advice. Blair could not have been more helpful and patient. He chatted everything through with me that evening and explained all my options including the pros and cons involved with each. Honestly, I don’t think I could have got through it without that advice. Before I spoke to him, I was feeling stressed and unsure and after the phone call we had a clear plan of action that I felt happy and confident with. Blair went on to negotiate an incredible offer (12% over value!). If you are looking to put your property on the market, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Curran & Co property, no question or request is ever too much.
