I take no satisfaction in saying this is a very unprofessional disorganised outfit.
I let my house out through them and initially seemed ok but soon turned out to be a nightmare.
Phone calls and emails are very rarely returned or answered, the guy dealing with my house…Sam is off on a Monday so everything is put on hold until he returns and he remembers to get back to you.
Payments frequently late without any reason or explanation and to top it all when tenants were moving out after having given notice they left it until a month before to re advertise it which resulted in my property standing empty for 6 weeks.
I’ve since changed to a much more professional firm with whom I’m very happy.
In the last two weeks I’ve sent an email and spoken to someone on the phone as i needed a tax statement for the year….you won’t be surprised to discover there’s nothing been forthcoming.
Avoid like the plague.

I’ve dealt with David, Sam and the team at DAH for the last thirteen years, both as a landlord, purchaser and seller. They are absolutely brilliant. Their local knowledge in sales and lettings is exceptional and most importantly they are scrupulously fair and honest.
I’ve just sold a property through them and not only did they look after me as a client, but were understanding of the needs of the buyer as well. They went out of their way to make the sale as smooth and uncomplicated as possible. Any requests or queries were dealt with in a timely and good humoured manner.

Im not happy with the service of Samt, I have sent all docs and paid the deposit as he requested. I was arranging with the landlord who was very polite/ for another viewing after getting the flat painted.. I had a query about the furniture as it was very old .. the landlord was happy to check it first, then got a call from Samt telling that the application has been rejected bcoz of my question!!!! If i will pay 900 pounds rent with no bills, I think I have the right to ask about the furniture minimum… really shocked and thankfully this happened now better than after renting the property… Im waiting for my refund of 200 pounds ive paid to hold the property…

I have lived in this house managed by David Andrews homes for 16 years. It was a fantastic experience and I am very happy with all the staff, they worked very professionally. When ever I had an issue within the property, I spoke to them and it would be resolved in a very short time. The best experience was, I was in away on holiday and my son had told me via phone call that there was a leak under the kitchen sink, so I emailed David Andrews and told them the situation and they took immediate action. Three hours later my son phoned to say that a plumber was sent by David Andrews and had fixed the leak. This is just one example of how reliable David Andrews is.

Horrible experience with them. We were waiting for a call from them for over a week to see if our offer had been accepted, called every single day and was told they'd get in touch the same day. I had to call again and was only then told we weren't accepted. With every other agency I have used it is standard procedure to let the prospective tenants know the status of their offer, so they didn't even deliver the bare minimum. Incredibly disappointing.

Lovely house, lovely landlord, but for really long time now I had a problem contact my agent. We live here so many years now, it always generally been okay. We love the house hovewer it needs a real maintenance, love the area as we have our life round here.
Still problem with a contact an Agent, do not recommend, as instead of talking to you to solve any issue, he's going through court straight away. Absolutely irresponsible, and worth adding I am single parent.
He agreed for lower rent during Covid, which was my ex partner idea- he wasn't on the tenancy agreement at all as now I have problem with debts? They should be all cover by my ex partner as he stated to do so. Agent is lying that he was contacting me numerous times, but I went to my phone operator and I can prove that there was not even one phone call from him for all year round.
Braking a low coming and knocking to your doors without any previous notice.

I often think about writing a review, but rarely get around to it.
Earlier this year David went well out of his way to help me with a couple of rental property issues that I was extremely concerned about, and which were resolved in his usual calm and reassuring manner. Hence my decision that it was time I got my act together and put pen to paper.
This was not the first time this has happened in the 2 decades that David Andrews have been managing our properties. In fact, given that property management is no a walk in the park, I think it is fair to say that the service provided over almost 20 years has been exceptional.
In addition to property management, we asked David Andrews to sell a flat for us earlier this year.
Whilst I allowed myself to stress about all the things that could go wrong, David and Terry were always able to reassure me that things were going OK, and would turn out fine.
In particular, as it was extremely difficult to communicate with my own solicitor, Terry's communications with the buyers solicitor was incredibly helpful. Needless to say, it did turn out fine, and completion happened last month.

Booked to view a property on Monday 6th December. Drove 35 minutes to the viewing on Tuesday 7th December to find noone was there. Turns out the property was removed over night and noone contacted me. I had an email confirming the viewing and the time so they had the correct email address, meaning they could have contacted me sooner.
When wondering where anyone was I called someone in the office and they had no idea what was going on either. Useless company who wasted 1hr30min of my life (was a 1hr10min round trip with 20mins not knowing what was going on)

Can’t recommend David Andrews enough; I’ve just bought a property and Terry was amazing from start to finish - unlike most estate agents I’ve dealt with, Terry was on the ball, informative and quick to respond to any of my queries (no matter how silly they were)! In addition to being a first time buyer with pretty much no understanding of how the whole thing worked, I also had a particularly long conveyancing process and Terry was relentless at chasing up solicitors and providing me with guidance, advice and support whenever I needed it. Recently completed a house sale with David Andrews. They already had potential buyers lined up and within a fortnight found a buyer the same day I found the house I wanted to buy! Things didn't go quite as smoothly after that (because of legal issues in the chain - not the estate agent), but Terry was calm and helpful and gave wise advice. We eventually moved in January - would recommend them to anyone buying or selling in M16 as they have such a great knowledge of the area.

Unfortunately completion did not go as expected hence the edit. I did not receive a phonecall stating the keys were ready and had to continuously chase long after completion. I finally got in touch with the agent at 2:35pm despite emailing and phoning requesting an update on why removal people were still at the property and when the keys could be collected. The property had been stripped bare and items included within our legal documents (fixtures and fitting form) removed from the property (cooker, carpets etc) leaving the property unliveable. After being informed that the furniture, not included in the sale, and items in the garage had been removed on Wednesday in anticipation for completion on Friday, it was clear that removal was only underway on the Friday and taking place after completion had already occurred. Unfortunately a very stressful and deeply disappointing experience.
I have recently purchased a property through David Andrews. Terry has been excellent... he was very knowledgeable about properties in the area, extremely helpful, very professional and always kept me informed and updated throughout the process. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks again.

Was renting through these guys for three years before leaving the country. Nice guys, were happy to communicate between myself and the landlord if I had any requests, no invasions of privacy or any difficulties like this, no problems with signing contracts or adjusting them if there was a change in tenancy (I was part of the furniture but the people I shared with changed over the years). Maybe I had to ring them and remind them that I had sent them an email every once in a while but I am also guilty of this so it's all good ;). Would recommend them and would have used them again if they serviced where I live now

The worse experience I have ever had with an estate agent. They left us with a broken boiler -freezing water and no radiator- for over a 2 weeks in mid January. Prior to this the boiler has broken down multiple times. The toilet was leaking into the kitchen and it took them over 2 weeks to fix it. They stopped responding to our calls as well. The landlord had problem with his wife and she came knocking on the home door with the police?- edit: they were aware of this I have email proof.
two years later but better than never.
Not the right place? minor throwback to the three agents sat in the David Andrews office in Stratford gossiping and ignoring phone calls.
Sam especially was very rude.
Could not recommend an agency less.

As a landlord. DA Homes Manchester deducted over £500 from my rent without permission or authorsation, no itemised bill or breakdown of work provied, they gave me no oppertunity to get other quotes. They havent replied to me since on this matter and its still unresolved. The tradesmen who they instructed to do the work is an old friend of theirs called Les... I have now recieved a letter from the council as the property is in poor state of disrepair and that i will face a fine. Funny how this never happens when i manage my own porperties. My advice is stay away from this company.

Hands down the best letting agents I've experienced in my life. Have been in and out of renting flats for 7 years in 7 different properties since I was a student. These guys respond to issues quicker than anyone I've rented from before, in some cases the day after reporting. If something was faulty and needed to be replaced (in my case a heater and extractor fan) the quality of the replacement was very high. All staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Sam who was incredibly helpful during my tenancy. No issues with deposits or random gripes with leaving furniture/items when moving out - I was once charged £20 for leaving a kettle behind in a kitchen. None of that here. Thank you guys, thank you Sam. Would highly recommend.

I rented from D A Homes for just shy of six years and can thoroughly recommend them. Both the letting agent and the landlord were a pleasure to deal with and highly responsive to any issues (which were minor and also few and far between).
A first rate service, you are unlikely to find better.

Very impressed with how David Andrews the sale of my mums flat. It ended up being quite a difficult sales but their professionalism, experience and hard work ended up in success. It has required all of those qualities to get the sale completed.

We dealt with David Andrews as the buyers of a home they were representing. Even though we were not their clients, they really went above and beyond to be helpful and were really impressive.
I was quite happy with the service from my own estate agents but based on my experience with David Andrews, if I was selling my home again, I would use them.

Since My move to Manchester they have been the most ethical, and decent landlords I have ever met. Highly recommend them and would not hesitate renting/buying from them in the near future. Credit to Sam taher and Adil especially.

Simply the 'go to' estate agent in the Chorlton, Old Trafford and Whalley Range area. We let out our house through them and they also helped us sell it. Their knowledge of the market and their understanding of what customers are looking for / prepared to pay was invaluable.

I will definitely ask anyone to use David Andrews Estate Agent for rent or buying a home..they're very trustworthy and can respond at any moment,any day, any time to solve their tenants problems. I have never seen a good landlord like them, always on point.

Let's face it, most estate agencies are annoying, expensive and only realllllly communicative when it suits them. A sweeping generalisation I know but hey we all kind of know it to be true.
David Andrews are far from this. I've spent the last 2 years renting through them and everytime I need to pop in or ask anything, it's like going seeing a mate. They're responsive, happy to give very sound advice and SO relaxed. I don't mean 'relaxed' as in useless. I mean 'relaxed' as in working efficiently and capably but putting you - the tenant - at ease, which as far as I'm concerned is a key skill when going through the stress of moving house.

Nice people but!! I bought a previously rented flat through DA last year. Good buy and was recommended viewing when I was looking at another place. The tenants had given notice but didn't keep to it. DA position was that they don't put people on the street, which is a good one and one I agree with. My landlord who I had given notice to was not so understanding but 5 stars to DA so far. Nearing move in date I get a call offering to see the flat before I move in. I had been very busy with everything and they had shown themselves to be reputable so I said no I'm sure you will see it's ok. Move in day I walk into the alarm to the flat going off with not alarm code and all the last tenants to be honest, stinking furniture and I mean all their furniture, sofa, beds, wardrobes, table and chairs. Added to this the place was filthy. So I call DA and ask for the items to be removed. No response. I call later and ask for the code to the alarm as I have had to switch off at the trip switch also for the wired in smoke alarm. No response. Big let down when they had been great to that point.

if i could give them a start lower than one i would have done.
what an absolute joke of a company, pretending to be the manager, lies and after i requested the forms to sign for the house he sold it to someone else.
do not trust this company or the man who pretends to be the manager 'Sam Taher'
absolutely devastated what he has done to me and my friend.
