The Team at Davis Tate Pangbourne have been absolutely incredible after being let down and ghosted by another agent after a purchase fell through I wandered into the office not sure what I would do, Sylwia in the lettings team had me and my kids in a suitable rental within days and the sales teams went out of their way to help me find a new home. I have to say after selling, renting and purchasing recently and dealing with multiple estate agents this is the only one I would recommend they still have the human factor and seem to genuinely care about their customers. huge shout out to Sylwia and Suzanne who were absolutely fantastic!!!

Not a good start,
10 days into the rental and we still have no hot water despite visits by the electrician and plumber......
Property let with an unsatisfactory electrical condition report carried out 2 weeks prior to occupancy - although they have 28 days to carry out the remedial repairs, perhaps it would have been prudent to address the issues prior to letting the property, now there will be disruption to us with loss of power while to fuse boards are replaced.

We opted for Davis & Tate as our estate agent for the sale of our property, the team at the Pangbourne branch that supported us were excellent (Richard, Jack and especially Paul). We don’t buy and sell houses everyday and Paul was supportive and patient with our queries. I suspect the chain might have collapsed if it wasn’t for Paul’s efforts to provide guidance and feedback and a clear line of communication as we had a tricky chain to contend with (slow to respond at the bottom, rude in their response at the top). We’re happily settled in after a long 6 months, on to decorating.

Davis Tate provided great marketing material and we agreed a price which achieved many viewings and offers within 2 weeks of going on market . We sold above our asking price . Completion was rather tortuous mainly because lawyers at bottom of chain did not keep everyone in the loop - fact that they were also PPL was frustrating.

The only thing that we'd do differently was to find a different mortgage advisor. The entire process with Embrace wasn't transparent and our details were passed on to an insurance company without our consent. Not a great experience!

We have been renting our property with Davis Tate for almost 24 years. Over that time I have heard so many friends sharing their horror stories of property management companies doing nothing, being difficult to contact, charging crazy fees. I am fortunate and happy to tell you that Davis Tate does not fit that description in anyway. Since day one they have stayed in contact even when we were overseas for years, they took charge of repairs and maintenance getting multiple quotes when we requested. The inspection reports were thorough and highlighted issues that the tenants needed to take care of as well as wear and tear maintenance that was our responsibility. They guided us on when to increase our rates. We have never had a single issue that wasn't solved to a high degree of satisfaction. If you are considering renting your property and need a professional, experienced company to take care of the day to day I could not recommend them more highly. 24years of great service.
