Realistic about the price to ask for and making everything work when I, the client, was beginning to despair. The process of selling our property started in May 2022! We settled on DOMVS as our Estate Agent of choice, Trisha came along and the process started. We(DOMVS) finally completed on the sale of our apartment at the end of April after two abortive sales. During the sale process, Trisha even came to help me fill in some forms and gave up a Saturday to facilitate a meeting between us and our purchaser. Trisha is an absolute superstar who went above and beyond what you may expect from an estate agent and we can’t thank her enough. Additionally, Alison, who supported us & our sale whilst Trisha was on leave, was a superstar, always there to help and guide us, once again, we can’t thank you enough. Their practical guidance and humour got us through our protracted and wearing sale.
The entire team are trustworthy, kind, supportive, informative and nothing was too much trouble as they were always available to speak to and advise.

We had decided to sell our lovely Coach house and wanted a sensible and honest valuation, we chose Domvs as we had noticed their property’s seem to sell easily. We had observed that some agents appear to over inflate the price to gain the instruction and months later the property’s are still for sale at a greatly reduced.
Within 3 weeks we had two offers on the table both in excess of the asking price.

Beware: 4/5 bedroom converted bungalow, Waterloo Road, Corfe Mullen
My partner and I viewed this property in summer 2019. We were going to put an offer in on the property but were beaten to it by a cash buyer.
Roll forward a couple of months and we had a call from the estate agents to say the property had become available again. We were eventually in a position to make an offer, which was accepted. We asked why the previous buyer had pulled out and were told by the estate agents (DOMVS) that they didn’t know, that the buyers pulled out on the day of exchange and didn’t give a reason. We accepted that and moved forward with our purchase. We were also told by DOMVS that our sellers would be prepared to move into rented accommodation in order to sell. We agreed a completion in February 2020.
As time went on, we had unreasonable demands made of us by the solicitor acting for our sellers, who claimed he was simply following his clients’ instructions.
Each time we bent over backwards to placate our sellers. Just before we were due to exchange contracts, we had a call from DOMVS. It was in their own words “frustrating and disappointing” news. Our sellers wanted to extend the completion date out to the end of April. Apparently, their new build would not be ready until that time and they couldn’t find anywhere to rent for a couple of months due to them having two dogs in tow.
I pointed out there were numerous holiday lets available that would welcome dogs, having made a 5-minute internet search for such properties. Apparently, our sellers would not budge and on the day of exchange we received an inflammatory letter from their solicitor’s saying unless we exchanged by 5pm the following day, agreeing to the extended completion of end of April or earlier on 14 days’ notice from our sellers, they would be pulling out.
Because of these unacceptable terms, we pulled out.
This is to our knowledge, two buyers who have now pulled out on the day of exchange.
UPDATE:
Since writing this review, a 'Response from the owner' was posted saying we understand I am in direct contact with Trisha Ashby-Rudd. Below is what I have received from Trisha since the collapse of our chain:

Additionally, I received a phone call today (Wed 11/12/2019) at 11:43 from their Dorchester office. The lady I spoke to did not identify herself, however, she did try to pass blame onto the respective solictors (although she denied that when I said that was what she was trying to do) and made a veiled threat of legal action under GDPR.
Perhaps you should have a closer look at GDPR before using it to make threats.

Polly, as I recall you did not introduce yourself, but if you say you did then fine, it's not worth debating.
As regards your other comments, the threat you made was quite clear to me. I ceratinly wasn't under the impression you were looking out for my interests but yours.
As you are probably aware, my solicitor is not at liberty to speak freely to you, so would have given very little away without asking for my authority to speak to you (which she hasn't).
Finally, please see what GDPR does and doesn't cover.

My wife and I are considering a move to Dorset and during a recent visit, we popped in to several estate agencies to register our interest in the area to go onto their 'books...'
By a country mile, DOMVS were head and shoulders above all the other businesses we met - not only did Paul take time out of his busy morning to discuss the area, the market and whether we were being realistic with our own thoughts, he also listened.
Since coming home, he's kept in contact (even though we're not planning to move for 18 months) - he's also keeping us abreast of whats currently on the market - each property is pretty much what we're looking for and we only wish we were moving right now!
