They had a sensible approach to setting the price, advised us on how to prep dress the house, listened carefully to what we wanted and were all round efficient, helpful and so professional. So we needed to rent a house close to the University and our son's school.
We asked East of Exe to show us a small town house in Heavitree.
We liked it very much and rented it immediately.
The team was very professional and very responsive.
Very helpful as well... always answering our questions quickly.
We really appreciated dealing with them.

We have dealt with East of Exe on two or three occasions and have always found them to be professional, friendly and competent. I have read the two negative reviews below where the Tenants in question appear to be dissatisfied and I don't see that their complaints should influence anyone. The correct route for them to follow would seem to be through East of Exe's Complaints Procedure.

This letting agents are rediculously unprofessional and incompetent. And I must say Dishonest. I would not recommend them to anyone. When we moved into are property we had to amend the inventory a lot as it was so out off date, there where lots of things missing from the house and lots wrong. We took an amended copy and photographs to lans office in Exeter for a meeting which we had ask for. And also to collect smoke directer.when it come to use needing a copy of the photographs back as we had unfortunately lost are copy, and to prove that things were missing etc. We were first told by lan and his staff that they had lost them in there office move. Then lan changed his story and said he could not remember us ever given him the photographs or amended inventory. Luckily we still had are copy of that. And help use in are fite for are £2,700 deposit.

An infuriating estate agent to be working with. Our letting agent was ridiculously unprofessional to the point it felt like we were dealing with a petulant child.
First I thought these people were just incompetent but the sad truth is they are also just straight up dishonest. Would not recommend
Edit: We were the house on Sweetbrier. You'd failed to have a boiler fixed for a week in the height of winter. Failed to fix a water-damaged ceiling for the best part of a year and lied to prospective new tenants about a serious damp and mold problem that clearly needed to be addressed before even our tenancy.
Then you had the audacity to try and claim over £1,000 in deposit deductions based off claims that have now been deemed unjustified.
I seriously hope this is dishonesty as it's actually more worrying people this bad could be hired!

Really happy with the service, considering we weren't actually the client we were treated like it which I think some agents forget about the buyers and focus on the vendor! Jo was very patient as we had solicitor delays(!), but she managed the vendor excellently which got us through to completion.

I am so impressed with the service I have received from Beckie at East of Exe I almost don't want to share her! I have had multiple property maintenance problems with my tenanted property which Beckie has dealt with in her consistently friendly and efficient way providing prompt and cost effective repairs. Also, much of this work was done before she had even found the good reliable tenants who now occupy my property. If you are looking to rent out your property I sincerely recommend East of Exe.

Buying the house or our dreams would not have been possible without the outstanding service of the East of Exe team.
We only went to Lympstone for a quiet weekend and left having viewed an 1840 character property. Over the weeks that followed, our interest turned into a firm offer and ultimately a purchase with the staff of EoE backing us all the way. From viewing to completion took about 12 weeks and throughout that time we were constantly kept up to date with developments and supported when our seller became really quite difficult.
The staff seem more like friends and I miss our weekly chats! These people are professionals that like nothing more than giving an outstanding customer experience.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

TERRIBLE COMPANY - I WAS A TENANT FOR 10 MONTHS OF FRUSTRATION!
The company constantly over promise and under deliver! The property developed plumbing issues and a roofing problems and East of Exe did very little to fix them and at no rush what so ever. Visible Mould developed and the living conditions deteriorated yet nothing more was done.
I left the property and the deposit refund process was long winded and took 5 days longer than they promised leaving me essentially homeless with no way to close on my new property due to the security deposit being held.
Incredibly lacks regard for tenants! I even spoke with the DPS regarding and they are extremely surprised at how they handled the refund process.
