EO had our flat for 3 months on the market, with no enquiries at all and no viewings. Not even one phone call! They said we had overpriced by £10k (priced at £220k, not the £210k they recommended) but other similar flats were at £220k. They did not seem to understand the good location of our flat, the secure site, the ground floor position overlooking manicured communal gardens, the owned parking place etc. They could not explain why there was no interest at all, and seemed to have no database of potential buyers. Their only suggestion was that we reduce the price. I do not believe that £10k on a flat of this sort was deterring ALL possible buyers. (The service charge on our flat is relatively high, but EO should have been able to deal with this.)... Read more
