Overall positive experience with selling through Flying Keys. The only thing that could be improved is communication between the office and vendor as sometimes I was having to communicate messages twice. I can't speak highly enough of Flying Keys, as a seller and as a buyer. Following a negative experience with a previous estate agent, we decided to move our house to be with Flying Keys instead. Lydia and Ryan were very supportive during this period, and Lydia was always very professional during viewings. We were always given plenty of notice and provided feedback which was extremely helpful. Having been to see many properties with Lydia, she was always friendly and able to answer any of our questions. Fortunately, we found another house to buy through them too, and their role in our chain was seamless and easy, even when other agents and buyers in the chain were difficult. Georgia and Lydia were always on hand to help, which was very much appreciated during a difficult and emotional process on times. Tried applying for a rental property as soon as it was advertised due to needing to move ASAP. Took weeks to get a viewing as they only have 1 viewing day, to then fill in the paper work to apply immediately and 2 weeks with no communication after that to eventually someone answering and letting us know we were unsuccessful. Seems the company don't really care about the customers or the landlords need to find a tenant. Only person that actually replied to my emails was 'elaine.' The application process is a basic Tenant questionnaire that is passed on to landlords/ladies to pick who they would like to be their tenant.

While I know the whole application is more than the questionnaire like credit checks etc the actual questionnaire is basic as yes/no questions. I was asked did I have a guarantor and said no because I didn't want to put the responsibility on someone and I didnt realise it was required and would go against my application. If I'd know I would have got one.
I was then unsuccessful because the landlady was encouraged to turn us down for not having one.
Regarding..
The application form states clearly, that if you don’t hear back from us within 7 working days, you have been unsuccessful.
I'd spoken to the landlady over a week after the application was sent and she said she hasn't heard of the estate agents yet so I didn't take any notice of the waiting time.

We recently used Flying Keys for both the sale of our previous property and the purchase of our new one, and we honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We wouldn’t consider using any other agent in the area.
Their marketing and customer service are outstanding. As a client, it’s reassuring to feel in control throughout the process, and the ability to manage everything clearly and efficiently through the Street app made a real difference.

My experience of using Flying Keys has been positive from start to finish in regard to selling my house and the staff of every respective department demonstrated a professional and efficient approach and service. I would highly commend using Flying Keys who proved to have a great understanding of the market and offer timely support at all stages.my only observation that would I believe on already a good experience would be when the phones are answered that the person answering from flying keys states their name it helps to know that you are speaking to someone who you have already been dealing with also when answer phone messages gives out email names it would be good if the name could be spelt out which will help if the name is different from the usual way of spelling. I can't even begin to describe the terrible service they've provided. They refuse to be flexible with viewings, they have too many viewing so unless your the 1st one in forget about it. They don't put up on the websites when it's gone off the market so you'll chase and chase and they'll ignore you then a week later tell you it's gone. It's a shambles I wouldn't bother

Fantastic experience with Flying Keys. Although not our agents, they were acting on behalf of the sellers of the property we were buying.
There was a relatively small chain involved ahead of us and it was only through Lydia at Flying Keys that we had any idea of what was going on. She went above and beyond in keeping us up to date and when we needed any extra information, she always managed to help. Time and again she came up trumps for us.

Flying Keys have been amazing through out, we moved from Sri Lanka to UK in 2023, then in 2025 we have left UK and moved to Australia, until to date, communication has been splendid, these guys go out of their ways to help in every way. I have spoken to them from Sri Lanka before departing and after leaving UK I have spoken to them from here in Australia the communication is still the same. There is one puticular person who stands out from the crowd, that's Jaz, she has been incredible throughout and help us in many ways, I have no words. She is a big asset to the company, and previledged to have her in their team. Jaz was very practical and helped us through out our tenancy with utmost urgency. We have reached out to her from Australia after we left the property, she still revert back to us in lightening speed, gave us good refferals so it helps us immensely in securing a property here. We didn't have a positive experience with flying keys. We purchased a property with them, and got as far as paying out for a home survey and some solicitor fees to progress the purchase. We were then notified that the owner hadn't gone through probate. We received a phone call from flying keys explaining that the property does have to go through probate, but will only take 3 weeks and will coincide with the sale. Well we never heard of a probate going through in 3 weeks. Then we recieved an email from the sellers solicitors explaining this was false, and an application hasn't even been submitted. We were informed that it would be a minimum of 16 weeks till the probate goes through. After explaining this to flying keys and sending them the email, they said they will investigate it. Due to them not following this up, I contacted them 2 days later and they hadn't even read the email I sent them and was still under the assumption it would be 3 weeks. Following this, I sent them a friendly email explaining, to our disappointment we have to pull out of the sale. Due to the situation, we couldn't risk losing the sale of our property and leaving us in a position of finding alternative accommodation etc. In my email, I also queried why this had been missed, and why wasnt the right questions asked which i recieved no answer for. Why wasn't the questions asked if the seller had gone through probate? Why was no paperwork checked? It was a complicated situation and this was a big oversight on their part. Resulting in us putting an offer in on a house that wasn't even technically owned by their client, which has cost us money and time. After sending the email we got no appologies. There was no offer of reimbursement, for the money we wasted on the property due to their mistake. We wouldn't of even wrote this review if we had just recieved a simple apology. The staff have always been friendly when we have spoke to them. But this was a big let down and expected more from them in regards to this situation. I hope in the future, properties that have been or are going through probate are checked properly, and paperwork is checked before putting on the market. So someone else doesn't waste time and money on a house that shouldn't be up for sale in the first place.

Customer service as a potential buyer is not great. Twice I've asked via email an estimated rental value of a property I was interested in amongst other things and this question has been ignored. I was questioning the valuation of a property and how this has been achieved and showing a general interest. The response received from Lydia was very vague, no time taken to deal with my questions and parts of my email ignored. I have my own home I will be looking to sell, I will be taking my business elsewhere... I did think about not leaving a review and just forget about it but as a potential seller in the future, I would want to know what kind of service my potential buyers who show interest are receiving.. based on my brief experience with this company, I would not recommend - abit gutted as was expecting good things as quite established.

I nearly completed a purchase with them. They did their utmost to ensure the sale went as smoothly as possible and stepping in when needed to push relevant parties when issues in the sale process arose. As a buyer I was over the moon with all they did to help.
They are always easy to get hold of, someone will always get back to you pretty quickly after emailing. They are reliable for house viewings, always on time.

Flying keys were fantastic from start to finish and I couldn’t be more pleased with the process and how things have turned out. Ryan was always keeping me updated and always done the extra bit Hear and there whether it was late evening meetings due to my working pattern or just ensuring that I have every thing In place when required. Really loved that fact that flying keys is a family run business which showed due to the level of care an appreciation I received all the way through the process. Thank you all.

Great to see Ryan moving into the estate agency market. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan many times over the years and always found him trustworthy and very focussed on getting results.
