Shockingly Unprofessional and Disorganised
This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with an estate agent. I was told exactly how to submit my application and offer, sent all requested documents, and was promised a response the same or next day. Instead, I was ignored for a week.
After wasting my time, they then claimed I still needed to view the property,despite the fact that they had already shown my friend around and guided me through the process themselves. This excuse is ridiculous and shows how poorly they manage their clients.
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this agency if you value your time.

After renting from Focus Property for over a year and never once being late with rent or payments, I was shocked by how unprofessional they became when i finished contract with them. When I asked about my deposit, they stopped replying to my messages entirely. Every time I called, they either hung up or spoke with extreme rudeness, even using bad language and starting arguments.
I have all the call records showing how their staff insulted us multiple times, which clearly proves their unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated this way after being such a responsible tenant.
I’m still waiting for my deposit to be returned, and based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with Focus Property. They do not treat tenants with respect or fairness.

Where do I start. Focus properties are amazing. They were not the agency we used to sell our home with- but the agent we brought from. Regardless of that standpoint, they supported us through the downfalls of other agencies and their errors. Hardeep in particular was 10/10. She is amazing at explaining and guided us through it all. Baring in mind again..they were not even the ones selling our home! If you’re looking for an agent …for sure choose these.I can not praise them enough. Selling a house can be stressful but focus properties do really know what they’re talking about.

Very happy with the service we received from Focus. The process of getting the house on the market was swift and easy, and the listings looked good on Rightmove and Zoopla which got us early viewings and offers.
The team are very helpful and friendly and they guided us through the sale process and chased various issues up when needed.
All in all we had a fairly quick sale and Focus made it as stress free as a house move ever can be! Would definitely recommend ????

I trusted my instinct when I chose Focus out of 4 possible selling agents - and it proved to be spot on. Glen and his team were supremely professional as well as bringing the personal to our dealings...having some handy spare batteries to put into the new doorbell we were fitting was a nice touch! Hardeep and Megi were always available during the sales progression and were happy to help with resolving some utility issues on my behalf while I was away. Glen set up Focus after having led other local agencies for several years and his experience is self evident - his valuation was sensible and I felt he and his team would work hard to secure the sale - which indeed they did - so Big Thanks to everyone!

Absolutely horrendous. Owner Glen lies and is incompetent as agents.
We employed him 2 yrs ago to manage due to family illness & needing to reduce our stress. In this time he has not managed tenants or rooms, lost us over £10,000 in rent / poor management to collect fees from tenants. He complains he had to liaise with tenant when rent issue despite being paid to manage these things. Failed to reply to phone calls or emails over numerous months. Lied to tenants and made contract changes against landlord advice or consultation
I advise anyone to avoid this agents. Staff are nice (i actually feel sorry for them) but owner is greedy and repeatedly lies about everything. He doesn't seem to know about landlord or tenant rights and how to manage a HMO property with numerous incorrect information given despite stating its his profession. He lost our house sale after 6months as failed to provide correct information to solicitors despite them & us chasing several times.
We are pursuing them through ombusman +/- legally if necessary but if I could we would have avoided hence review to reduce unnecessary stress for others. They treated more work & stress at a time we instructed/paid them to manage to relieve our stress due to family terminal illness & death. His excuse was too busy to manage but yet happy to take the monthly fees.

Really bad customer service for the staff, the foreign woman staff member that comes to do checks is very rude and condescending acts like she better than everyone, they will look for anything to complain about and tell you, you need to better regardless if you have kids or not, umm and ahm when you call them about an issue in the house that needs fixing. Just terrible people to deal with even when you leave them they make you damage costs added onto the deposit they take absolute scamming scum.

Glen & Megi who run Focus offer a level of professional service unrivalled by other local estate agents in the prestigious Clarendon Park / Stoneygate area of Leicester - appointing them as sole selling agents for my house sale was the most easiest, straight forward decision I’ve made this year.
They’ve always attentive and act with a sense of urgency which is very comforting during the selling process.
They undertook all viewings personally and treated the property with respect and care, even letting the dog out for anxious viewers. They work really hard, seven days per week delivering for their clients, but always available at the end of the phone.
During the legal stages, they both were ahead of the curve at every point, ensuring clear communications and progress checks to all parties in the chain. I really couldn’t design a more hassle free and smooth service if I did it myself.
In today’s busy modern world where everyone seems to be time poor and overly demanding, Glen & Megi offer a standard of customer care which is reminiscent of the bygone era. That is extremely rare and to be commended and held as a standard bearer of the industry.
I cannot recommend them highly enough, if I can offer 6 stars I would.

I've known Hardeep for years and she dealt with my buy to let properties when she was a mortgage adviser and she was amazing. I realised that when she was at Fine & Country every time I asked for her no one put the call through I was trying to buy a property on Barrington Road and it was very disappointing that Harry told me Hardeep wasn't available. She had so much more experience than Harry. I was an investor and I'll never deal with F&C again but I'm sure she's in good hands with you now. I only want to deal with Hardeep and Focus.

I was in a property with them as a student along with two others for a year, Glen is rude, and unprofessional to say he runs the show. His lack of culpability in his part for the problematic correspondence he provides as well as the blatant disregard for his tenants.
We had problems since the move in date, again his in ability to communicate and provide the correct information when necessary leaving us for weeks to wonder what was going on at the time of move in. Upon leaving his snide comments when handing keys back were unnecessary and the way he disregards attempts to communicate with condescending replies treating you like a child and foolish just because we are students.
I have also heard other stories from students who have rented under his company that are similar and advocate for the companies inability to problem solve and communicate with us students where necessary.
I would not recommend anyone use them or go anywhere near them when attempting to use them as agents.

I rang this morning to speak to an agent regarding a property To Let. I was asked questions regarding how many people were hoping to stay in the property which was fine and professional and I had no issue with that as that’s her job. However, I spoke about my living arrangements to the agent and asked if she could speak to the landlord and for her to call me back. She however scoffed and was very adamant on how I should be living and became rude and unprofessional. I politely asked for her name which she didn’t offer back as I wanted to speak to another agent as I found she was being very rude. I also mentioned she was being rude and so she scoffed and cut the phone mid conversation. (There should be a recording for training purposes to show I’m not lying and that your customer service should be improved). I understand my living arrangements is not something the landlord would be happy with but this could have been advised nicely and in a professional manner.
Saying this, she rang me back a minute later (which I was happy about) but again was spoken rudely to. She asked me if I was available at 3 30 (guessing she spoke to the landlord and he was okay with the living arrangements). However I asked her where she was calling from and what her name was as she didn’t mention that once I answered. I then declined the offer for a house which I was very excited to see, all because Dee had poor customer service.
I’ve seen good reviews with a lady named Glen which I now hope would have had the pleasure of speaking to instead. I’m surprised an agent could be that rude and unprofessional. If you could please train certain members of staff that would be very beneficial for your company. I’m surprised and saddened by the conversation I had with her.

Wow... what can I say! Words don't do this business and the people justice! What a lovely bunch of PROFESSIONAL, CARING AND FRIENDLY people! I can't thank these guys enough for the support and guidance throughout the ENTIRE process! Sooo efficient, easy to get on with and they were with me EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! They made me feel like family! Anytime I wasn't sure of anything I could pop in, call or email and at the drop of a hat there was ALWAYS a solution to anyyy problem! Can't thank them enough and I would recommend EVERYONE who is considering buying/selling a property to utilise this gem of a company FOCUS! Real bittersweet feeling on completion... sweet because the job was done... however miss the fact that I don't get to be involved with this incredible group of people anymore! Until the next time! Very bad service?It seems that the staff are lazy to do their duty! Icontacted them on 31January2024 to arrange a viewing, After I fill the form.I did not receive any answer regarding the viewing date. I'm still waiting for a response, and so far there is no answer?

Glen really impressed me when he came round for the first time to give me a house valuation. He really knew the market, suggested an asking price significantly higher than my other 3 sales valuations and found me a buyer at that asking price within 3 days of 'going to market', and we completed the sale without a hitch on the 19th of January 2024. I dealt with Megi throughout the sales process which was invaluable, since I live 160 miles away. She kept visiting to house for me to give access to enable charitable collections of furniture. She saved me several long journeys over to the house by doing this, so I can't thank her enough! Focus should have a motto for their excellent agency: "Above & Beyond and Going That Extra Mile"!!

My husband and I were looking for a very good apartment we can live comfortably and also close to the city Centre, after searching for 3months I came across focus property on zoopla, seeing the house from the picture I loved it and I reached out to them and we arranged viewing…!did the viewing and I was really interested in the property… from the very first day I saw the house in my head I was already imagining living in the property and hoping the landlord chooses us???? we did the referencing and we had issue with my husband Referencing then we needed to provide a guarantor, I was confused and tired at some point but Meglena came through for us and she was so nice and assisted us from the beginning of the process till we moved in… All the staffs we spoke to were so nice and assisted all through the way… I can never forget the lady that took me through for the viewing she was so friendly & nice… I will definitely recommend focus property sales management… by the way all their houses are beautiful and clean, I guess they have the best house in the most cozy environment ????????????

The property had been passed down from another property holder that me and other students rented out, so Focus had worked on rebuilding and fixing the faults of the property. There were a lot of ups and downs but Niamh handled our concerns mainly. She was efficient, hard working and on point. Though organisation was lacking a little in other aspects with repairs and problems, she had tried her best and pricing was excellent for what we got. As months went by other management turned a little slow outside of Niamh and now with other people within the company. I have had to wait nearly a month and a half for the return on my deposit, and operators on the phone/email aren't too helpful/rush you and it comes across as a little rude. Prices were excellent and student friendly, but on the day of moving in, residents still occupied the flat rooms we were supposed to inhabit. Again, organisation was lacking. Other than that we had been assigned a friendly agent, however I reccomend a different company if you are a student. Other problems arise such as the handyman - outside of their organisation but just making a note. He barges in, has walked on me changing, during early hours is heard at extremely loud volumes on the phone. It is worth communicating with him. We had a helpful tour and welcome from the team and costs are reasonable.
