Having used Fraser and Wheeler previously there was no question we wouldn't be using them again for the sale of our house this time round. Luckily they were also dealing with our onward purchase too which made things alot smoother being in a larger than normal chain. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. They always listened to what I needed and kept me updated at every stage even when the news wasn't as positive as what we had hoped for.
Selling and buying can be stressful, but they made the whole process feel far more manageable and reassured me whenever I had questions or concerns. Chris and Rachels professionalism and genuine care really stood out.
I'm very grateful for all their help and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and approachable estate agent. When we decided to put our house on the market, we had a few estate agents come round so we could get a feel of which one would work best for us and we were completely blown away by Fraser and Wheeler, Sam came in and explained exactly how it would all happen, he was informative and I could just tell that he knew exactly what he was talking about and they were the right estate agents for us.
Fraser and Wheeler made selling our house incredibly straightforward, they kept us informed and always updated us throughout our selling and buying journey and were always very calm with my many many questions I threw at them!!!
We initially dealt with Sam but also worked with Amy a lot who is just wonderful as all the whole team but as it was Sam and Amy that we worked with the most I can only praise those two up the most.

I’ve just sold my property using Fraser and Wheeler. After meeting various estate agents for valuations these guys were by far the best and most personable, Chris came out to see the property and he was really friendly and seemed to know his stuff!
The viewings were handled professionally and I was kept up to date regularly by phone. This was especially helpful for me as I wasn’t living in the property at the time.
They were honest about what they thought we should do re price and didn’t push me into dropping the price.
The negotiations and sale was made very easy with Amy in the office, she explained all the ins and outs so I knew what was happening and they didn’t need any prompting to contact solicitors to find out what was going on throughout the process on both sides!
5/5 would 100% recommend them to anyone buying or selling in Exeter!

We first used Fraser Wheeler in Dawlish to sell a property there, at that time they were selling more properties than all the other estate agents in the area - we decided they must be doing something right. We were very happy with all aspects of the service. So when our Property needed to be sold in Exeter we went to Chris at Fraser Wheeler, we in fact dealt with Sam, he was so helpful and again our experience from start to finish was excellent. And by the way they sell more houses in Exeter than their competitors - not hard to see why!!!

Selling our home with Fraser and Wheeler was great.
Our property was well marketed by Sam and achieved asking price. Not being initially ready to move, F & W were great at managing our buyer's expectations until we had found our onward purchase.
When our property chain ran into the usual solicitor delays and then our buyer's receiving some odd (and inaccurate) last minute advice from their conveyancer at Tozers, Rachel and Chris were instrumental in keeping the chain alive.
We very nearly pulled out of the transaction due to the actions of our buyer but Rachel and Chris helped me maintain perspective and also went above and beyond keeping lines of communication between the chain open.
With F & W competently managing the sale of our property, we are now happily in our new home.

The house I loved was with Fraser and Wheeler who I wasn’t really aware of even though I have lived in Exeter for many years. The customer experience was exceptional, my main contact was Chris Parkes but the whole team were always friendly, helpful and efficient.
I saw the house last November (2020) and agreed to purchase but the owners had yet to find a house they wanted to buy, which took 6 months and during that time Chris would keep in touch. Fortunately, the owners found a house in the middle of April and it was all systems go as both parties wished to complete by the end of June in order to benefit from the stamp duty holiday. It almost went to the wire but during the week before when things became quite fraught as we were outstanding some important information and couldn’t exchange/complete without it. I enlisted the help of Chris as a quicker route to the vendor who in turn could chase his solicitor.
When a couple of issues arose, Chris remained very professionally and kept things calm and helped to resolve them.
I had previously sold my house through one of the 'perceived' leading Exeter agents, but felt very let down by their lack of professionalism, service and honesty plus they failed to follow through on the promises they had made in order to secure the contract to market my property which was all very disappointing, I would never use them again.
But I would definietly have no hesitation in using Fraser and Wheeler when I come to sell this house at some future date and would encourage anyone else to use Fraser and Wheeler as they provided a great service and a positive experience. Thank you to everyone at the Exeter branch and especially Chris Parkes!

I recently bought my first home through Fraser & Wheeler after a fairly roller-coaster search for a perfect, yet affordable, property in the Exeter area. I would highly recommend them as a friendly, efficient and responsive local estate agent. What I liked about them most was the way that they were quick to understand my needs and my budget as a first time buyer, and direct me towards a range of realistic properties, helping me narrow down my search. I found the estate agent who viewed properties with me initially to be a good listener, intuitive and definitely not pushy. It took me a while to find the right house, and I looked at many properties with a variety of different estate agents, but once I did spot 'the one' (which happened to be marketed by F&W) things happened very quickly, and I was delighted to complete my purchase in just 5 weeks from having had my offer accepted, in part due to using an excellent solicitor who was recommended to me by Fraser and Wheeler. This meant the whole process was smooth and stress-free. The whole time, Fraser and Wheeler were in regular contact by phone and email and were easy to get hold of, responding instantly if I had a question and keeping me informed and up-to-date with the process and passing on information from the seller. I found them to be highly professional yet friendly, honest and approachable, and felt that they treated me well as a buyer, which resulted in a pleasing outcome for both myself and the seller. It was a nice touch to receive some celebratory wine when I went to pick up the keys to my new home too. Thank-you to everyone at the Cowick Street branch of Fraser and Wheeler in Exeter, especially to Karen for dealing with my purchase from start to finish and for being in touch regularly throughout the whole process. We recently had Chris from Fraser and Wheeler estate agents out to value our house and we were extremely pleased with his politeness and knowledgeable service although our valuation was for insurance valuation purposes only, he was quite happy to advise us and guide us for the way forward. When booking in for this appointment I spoke with a lovely young lady called Sarah who was also very polite and helpful.

Fraser and Wheeler secured a buyer for me at asking price within a week which was fantastic! I wasn't living in Exeter at the time so they made the whole process so easy for me and took the stress off which is exactly what you need during your property sale. The transaction was smooth and Chris and Sam kept me regularly updated so I knew exactly where we are. I can't recommend the team enough if you want to feel looked after and supported by true professionals.

Best estate agent in Exeter! Cannot thank this whole team enough they have been amazing throughout the whole process of finding my property.
Chris was friendly & professional when I met him at the property which they had just taken on that same day, they got me in to see it & we got sale agreed before it hit rightmove!
I then had the pleasure of dealing with the lovely Karen who saw the sale go through from start to finish she was fab!
Karen went above and beyond her job role keeping me updated almost daily, her calm & friendly manner made this whole process so much easier I felt I could ask her anything & nothing was to much. She dealt with both parties so professional & would always call me back when she would say and pass on all relevant info I needed to hear.
I cannot thank you all enough! Highly recommend you all.

I am really happy with the service I received from Fraser & Wheeler. I was apprehensive about going through the process of selling my home but from the beginning I felt well looked after by Chris, who advised me throughout the process and helped me to get the quickest sale in order to make an offer on another property. Sam was my contact throughout the conveyancing process for the sale and I really appreciated his efforts to keep things on track with the solicitors, and he kept me well informed. All of the team were very friendly and helpful when I called into the office. I would definitely recommend Fraser & Wheeler to others.
