Phillip has been amazing through out and helped resolve any issues we had in a timely manner. We found Phillip to not only look out for the landlord and the property but for us as well which was really refreshing. George Webb Finn have, without a doubt, been the best estate agents I have ever dealt with. Although the whole team is excellent, I have to make a special mention to Phillip. He was utterly brilliant, patient, kind and thorough. He made sure we were well looked after in the property we rented, and on house visits he was always on a balanced side to make sure both the landlord and us got the best. We were blessed with a brilliant landlord, which I'm sure made things easier for Phillip as well. But we shall miss Phillip and the people of GWF who have been superb.... Read more

I viewed two properties with GWF and submitted an offer for one. Filled out the forms and sent them straight away. I received a call to advise that the landlord wanted more viewings to go ahead before making a decision which I understood. I was told I would get a call back on 29th November with an update. It is now the 10th December and I haven’t heard anything. I’m taking the silence as the landlord declining our offer. The property is still on the market by the looks of things so who knows.
I’ve worked in the letting industry for the past 12 years and we would communicate this to the prospective tenant regardless. I find the lack of communication appalling.... Read more

Completly useless letting agent, unresponsive to emails, impossible to get hold of on the phone.
Raising rent without complying with proper notice period. Blaming lack of work being done on the property on contractors who have 'not been in touch after viewing the work' which is just unrealistic, as who knows a contractor who doesn't followup a house visit.
Getting to the point where we will be contacting the landlord to see if he would be willing to change letting agents as it is his property that is being affected by the letting agents lack of work.
He's getting 12% of our monthly rent for NOTHING.
In response to the reply below from the George Webb Finn: like many people I choose to not have my name on Google. I think if George Webb Finn believes that the name of the reviewer is the only item needed addressing in my review there are some serious issues business wide, and that other tenants must also receive the same treatment.... called about the property and was sent an application. Sent it back right away heard nothing I rang and was told I can't speak. To the guy his in a meeting rang again to be told he was sent home sick, rang again to be told the property had gone. So carried on looking to see the property was still on the market, rang up to be told yes its still available so asked about the application to be told someone will call, no call surprise!! So, called again to be told the guy is now on holiday., then finally a response to be told they don't accept guarantors as my dad is a pensioner absolutely shocking considering he has money to pay upfront and ready to move and the property has been available since the 5th August stay well clear... They openly discriminate against people in receipt of benefits by stating that the property will not be rented to them despite this having been shown on numerous occasions in court to be illegal.
They'll probably respond with some rubbish along the lines of "The landlord has given us this instruction" but this isn't an excuse.
Legally you can not refuse to rent to someone because they are on housing benefit or universal credit.... Read more

I phoned 2 times to enquire about a property that I was interested in. On both occasions the agent dealing with the property was unavailable and despite leaving my details failed to get back to me because ' he was too busy'.
I called again today and was informed that the property is now under offer. If I was the seller of the property I would be very suspicious of the way this company is run, how many other interested parties have they failed to contact.
Best and final offers is based on all parties being able to put in a bid, which is hard to do if they don't return your call.
