Giggs and Bell was recommended to me as a good local estate agent. The home visit by Derek to my husband and I was very informative, he knew what would sell our house and he answered all our questions, especially as we were selling after 42 years. He was the spur that we needed to put our house on the market and within days we had a viewing. We were able to ring up and ask questions about progress and if Derek was not there, we were able to speak to a member of the team. Everyone was polite, friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend Giggs and Bell.

Not pushy or forceful in approach like other agents, instead Giggs&Bell are calm and collective and get the job done as they say they will with realistic expectations and updates throughout.

I can honestly say that Giggs and Bell have been incredible for me. My case was with them for a year due to problems on my side, and they did everything they could to help and support me. Daniel the manager has extraordinary negotiating skills, and was always on my side when it came to negotiating a fair deal. Whenever I phoned up, it did not matter who I spoke to, they were always up to date with what was going on with my case. I know I found the process of selling my property so much easier knowing that I had the whole team behind me, especially when moving properties can be so stressful anyway. Bought my first 3 bed semi-detached house in Luton, Bedfordshire I was new to this and had no idea how things work…Derrick Bell who assisted me through the whole process and patiently waited trusting me and securing the property only for me! he helped me chase the process and keep track of the whole paperwork and also updated regularly.
I had viewed over 20 houses and this estate agency was one of the best among all, as I requested multiple viewings and to satisfy my purchase and mind. They were okay to bookinn and show me they property even on weekends.

I met with Derrick in early December to sell our house in Luton, from the first meeting everything was handled very professionally. We agreed a price that the property should be marketed at.
Derricks aim was to have the property sold before the year end. 9 viewings followed with 4 offers
( 2 speculative, 2 firm ). A sale was agreed within 3 weeks at close to the asking price.
Sale was completed at the end of March

Myself and my wife bought a property sold by giggs and bell estate agents about a month ago,after completion we went to pick up the keys from their office.. we then met the boss(Dereck) who started throwing abuse at us regarding our weight,saying you guys need to go for a weekly run in the park which is opposite our house.we ignored him and continued speaking to Daniel who I've been dealing with from day one.i was saying to Daniel we just moved to luton from london and was asking him if there's any nice parts in luton to see..the dude butts in saying there's a nice gym around the corner.i then asked him are you the boss,he replied to yes..I then think to myself I put money in your pocket for you to disrespect me and my wife? This man is a rude ugly soul he really needs to work on his attitude and watch how he talks to people.this guy dereck needs to sort his attitude out.he's a total disgrace

On completion day, I was excited to receive my keys until I met Derek, the manager. I was talking to Daniel as he had been dealing with us during the purchase process. Derek made a comment about my husband and me needing to go for daily runs to own the property, and we ignored it. Then he came back a second time with a smug expression on his face, telling me that I and my husband needed to join a gym. He relentlessly kept bringing up exercise to fat shame me and my husband. I thought it was very rude and inappropriate to be so personal and body shaming to a couple who had just put money in their pocket. Now, a month later, I feel so disrespected and angry that this person could be so disrespectful for no reason. I would give this company 0 stars if possible, and I would strongly advise avoiding this company due to their poor morals.

We decided to use Giggs & Bell to sell a property we owned in the Bedfordshire area, after being highly recommended to use them from a family member who lives in the area and has used their services several times previously.
From the start to the end, they were quite simply fantastic! Our main dealing was with Daniel Loveland. We found Daniel to be an exceptional estate agent, who took the time to listen to our needs.
Selling our property proved to be initially difficult due to factors (outside of our control) such as, the market being bad for selling, buyer pulling out after being made redundant, solicitors moving to slowly on the buyers side, mortgage rates going through the roof etc.
Daniel remained very professional, calm and with a positive, pro-active attitude during this time of difficulty (we had three buyers who didn’t go through). We were very impressed with Daniel’s consistency and drive to find us with a reliable buyer, who would see the transaction through to the end. After over a year of searching, Daniel and the team at Giggs & Bell found us with a buyer! The buyer was committed and purchased the property in Dec 2023! It was a lovely way to end the year. After a frustrating 18 months of trying to sell, we were delighted to have sold this investment property - at a price we wanted - and all of the credit goes to Giggs & Bell!

I had the unfortunate experience of losing my house and car keys over the hills a week or so ago, tried retracing my steps to no avail. Had to start the process of changing house locks and trying to get a new car key from the manufacturer. Thankfully after a day or so my daughter saw a post on a local website.
A set of keys had been found in the area where I had previous walked, we got the ladies name and number, called her and indeed they were my keys, you can not begin to under the immediate relief that they had been found and were safe.
I collected the keys from Mr Bells home and tried to give a reward, both Mr And Mrs Bell refused this.
Having had this experience with Mr Bell and his absolute honesty, I will be recommending Giggs and Bell as a honest and trustworthy business to deal with.

The conditions of the housing market in 2022 have been exceptionally difficult, with e.g. interest rate changes that have caused many chains to collapse. My wife and I, following our own rushed sale, went through a protracted and tortuous period trying to find somewhere to 'Land', and had many disappointments and unexpected shocks. There was too little affordable property being chased by too many desperate buyers. We searched far and wide in hope of success, and we increasingly found ourselves at the back of a queue leading to a bidding war that was driving up prices. We felt that this inflationary process was out of control and could become ethically unsound.

We saw a recommendation for Giggs & Bell online, and we are glad we took it up. It was our first move in 20 years, and things have changed very much since the last time we went through the rigmarole of selling a house. It certainly hasn't got easier!
However, we felt we were supported all the way by a great team - with Daniel, Jordan and Eloise organising the viewings, which they grouped together so as to cause least disruption, and Sophie in the progressing team doing a brilliant job of keeping us informed throughout the long process to exchange, all of whom had a friendly yet professional approach to making sure we were happy.
If you're getting quotes for a house sale and deciding between a high quality service or a low percentage cost, I'd definitely recommend the former - it can be an incredibly frustrating, stressful process, especially when there's an extensive chain involved, so it's great to have a supportive team on hand, who respond quickly to queries and concerns.

Derrick Bell was a pleasure to deal with on the initial appointment as well as Jordan on the viewings, both very polite and professional.
However Sophie Jones who dealt with the sales progression was very unhelpful, provided false information on a number of occasions and even bad mouthed us to our own solicitors! Her customer service leaves a lot to be desired and despite us being their clients it felt that Sophie was working with the buyers best interests at heart and not ours. Very disappointed in her service and would not recommend!

After doing my due diligence on estate agents with a solid track record of sales in my local area (Barton Hills), I met with representatives from 5 companies for valuations, of which one was Giggs & Bell. A close friend of mine recommended them and they certainly didn't disappoint.
Derrick, Denzil, Jordan and Eloise all did a fantastic job in helping me to sell the house at a price that the other 4 estate agents said was extremely unlikely to be achieved - Giggs & Bell were the only company that really showed any confidence in being able to do this. They were fractionally more expensive than the other 4 estate agents, but this was more than covered by the increased sale price!
I made lots of requests for amendments/additions on the house details and photos - in fact I was probably a bit of a pain - but they never once showed any sign of losing their patience with me!
This company has a very thorough knowledge of the Luton market - and are very passionate about the quality of service they provide. There was always somebody to answer my telephone calls and I can't remember any emails taking more than 1-working day for a response.
Derrick and Denzel have been working in the Luton property market for many years and I found them to be totally reliable and trustworthy. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would thoroughly recommend them to all.

I hadn’t moved for over 10 years and had heard of some horror stories with estate agents with there bullish approach, hidden agendas and only interested in the money. Giggs and Bell erased those thoughts immediately from the initial appointment through to completion. Derrick and the whole team were always there to lend a helping hand, give advice and kept in constant communication throughout the sale and buying process. There were some challenges along the way, including Covid 19 which slowed the process slightly, however the Giggs and Bell team remained professional, informative, helpful and enthusiastic even through these challenging times. Can I just make this very clear... Giggs & Bell, was not the estate agent we used, they were the agency we were buying a house from...
So if anything, you would think I would be writing such a review about our own estate agency. Even though we were not selling a property through Giggs & Bell, you would not have thought it.
Down to the professionalism, the curtesy calls and the understanding the team had in our selling and buying experience really was second to none.
I do not think we would have got to where we are today if it was not for the team at Giggs & Bell.

As a seller, I found every member of the team (Colette, Andrei and Denzil) to be very professional, personable, knowledgeable and transparent in their communication.
I was kept informed of the market and property marketing performance on Rightmove etc. number of viewings conducted and their feedback.
Denzil (branch manager) guided me through the sales process once I had accepted the buyers offer and helped to keep the sale moving.
Recently I have tried buying another property through another local agent and the experience was dire, so I gave up. If you expect a high standard of service and an honest estate agent to help you buy or sell your property in and around Luton, try Giggs and Bell.

Giggs and Bell have to be one of the if not the best agents I have ever dealt with. Their honesty, integrity and trust worthy attitude is impossible to find these days. We bought our first home in Luton and the experience was little short of amazing. I have dealt with many agents in Luton while we were looking for properties and can honestly say these guys are a huge breath of fresh air in a market that seems to place emphasis on make money make money make money. We lost a number of houses due to other agents having money as their best interests. The attitude of all the staff at Giggs and Bell was customer satisfaction focused and never seemed like getting paid was a driving factor. They are respectful and get the job done unlike a few I could mention (role of the eyes).
Honestly if you want great customer service without ever feeling pressured Giggs and Bell are your perfect choice.
Plus Derek is a Liverpool fan yay! But don't let that put you off...

Giggs & Bell have been outstanding, and gone above and beyond during the sale of my home, and search for a new home, in a specific area. Through their relationship and stakeholder management and proactive approach, I had an acceptable offer within a week or so of listing my home, and they managed to get a high volume of viewers through the door in a short space of time.
The listing itself onto Rightmove etc was also very swift and accurate. Compared with other local estate agents I have used for various services over the years (purchase, pricing, viewing etc), their service has stood out.
Taylor Kay in particular, as my key point of contact, has been communicative, listened to feedback and acted upon this, and has gone the extra mile in my house search and in terms of work outside of typical work hours. I would recommend the team and G&B.

So I called up this agent for a property I was interested in - some guy called Derek picked up. I have never spoken to an estate agent with so much attitude and arrogance - he actually told me that I would be causing him more headache because I was interested in the property!! Obviously he had a few people interested in the property - but this is no way to treat customers. I cancelled the viewing and will not be using this agent again!!

I sold my bungalow through giggs and bell. The company is very very good. First of all they found so many customers to view my bungalow. Everybody in the team was very good but denzil worked very very hard to make sure everything moved along smoothly and any issues we had he would take all the stress and make lots of calls to chase up any problems, which took a lot of stress of me and my husband as we knew denzil was seeing to everything. I would definitely come back to them if i ever think of selling my property. Well done Giggs and Bell. Keep up the good work!!! I would advise giggs and bell to open a solicitors office too for buying selling properties as they see everything through to the end and they have lots of knowledge of the process. They would have lots of happy customers as i think they would work very efficiently and take less time.
