Though they have lower rates than most other estate agents it shows in their work. They failed every year to do inspections on my property, and they failed to keep up with all required Certifications such as a gas safety certificate. They can't keep an ounce of organisation within their office and they have had such a high turn over of staff in the last few years that I don't think anyone working there now knows a thing from before they all started last week. These guys are honestly lucky they leave their tenants alone for the most part because if they didn’t they'd be facing some serious backlash for all the problems they create and refuse to solve.... We recently bought a property in Torquay as part of our relocation. From the very first viewing with Lisa nothing was too much trouble. Communication throughout was absolutely perfect. During the whole house buying process we unfortunately had a very long chain which of course can sometimes cause problems. Lisa went above and beyond to make sure everything happened within the chain when it should whilst all other professionals in the process sat back and I'm sure without Lisa's tenacity we would still be waiting now! I have been renting through haarer and motts for the last 2 & half years they have been nothing but helpful and professional the whole time. Always on the end of the phone when needed, sorting any problems out straight away with no delay ( not that there has been many ????) Rent has been affordable. Staff are friendly. The team are easy to contact and approachable. The staff have always been happy to help and very bubbly. All I can say is don’t change, you are all wonderful ???? - it’s not often you see this anymore definitely not in the difficult times we live in. Started well with promising as per contract to look after our property. We were appalled finding our property so badly neglected by the tenant's that is took 4.5 days for a professional company to deep clean, this was apart from the damage caused. Stay clear, agents in denial they did anything wrong. You failed to carry out your inspections properly. Our house was left in a disgusting state. You are in denial. We should have been compensated, had some of our fees paid to you returned, we paid you to do a job and you did not it.... Read more

Haarer & Motts customer service is absolutely disgusting. I made a basic enquiry about a house they are marketing today and was dealt with in an extreamly off hand and rude way. Having looked at their website and branding I wasn't expecting a particularly high level of communicative ability but they really exceeded my expectations. Do yourself a favour, if you are thinking about selling a house, instruct another agent. These guys will drive away potential buyers like me and COST YOU THOUSANDS!... Read more
