What can I say! As a buyer I have had the l best experience with Halletts, from start to finish Marion and Graham have been absolutely brilliant. Marion has even gone above and beyond to resolve issues that had arisen after the sale (that weren’t the fault of Halletts) and was always at the other end of the phone when I needed them! I would highly recommend Halletts if your considering your options when selling your property.
We had alot of disappointments in our journey to finding a new house but Graham and Marion were brilliant in keeping up our spirts and positivity.
We eventually found our perfect house and couldn't be happier.
Graham is very knowledgeable about the properties he takes you around and Marion was always at the end of the phone ready to help and even sometimes go above and beyond for us (which in our case was alot).
Hallets prices are extremely competitive and we felt we got alot for our money using them.
So again when considering your options definitely look at Hallets we would definitely recommend to everyone we know.

The service received from Halletts has been nothing short of superb, On meeting Graham to show me around the property I found him professional and knowledgeable about the property he showed me around, I had looked at various properties with various estate agents and found without doubt Graham to be the most diligent with no rushing and no hard sell, others had been very much gave me a quick look round and it seemed couldn`t wait to move on.
I made an offer and Marion then picked up the task, I have to say she was superb, very likeable and professional, she did all she could with constant communication with myself, the sellers and the various solicitors involved to move things along at pace, it was so reassuring to have Marion at the end of the phone to ask questions knowing that she was on the case and doing all she could for all involved in the sake/purchase.
I would highly recommend Halletts and Graham & Marion without hesitation and will definitely be using them for any future property purchases/sales.

A very good experience with buying my house through Halletts. Marion was always very happy to help and understood the frustrations that come with buying a property, liaising with the sellers and their solicitors on several occasions to try and obtain updated information for me and attempting to speed the process up. Graham was a genuine person who clearly cares about his clients and, unlike many estate agents that I encountered, actually knew a lot about the property and could answer my questions. It felt very personable to have the owner of the company show me around the house, unlike other agents who contract the viewings out to a third party who literally know nothing about the property and are there purely to let you in through the door. Very pleased overall and would fully recommend Halletts!

Where do I begin! I initially made contact with Marion when we finally found the house we'd been searching for and she was amazing at communicating to get us booked for our viewing. We then met Graham at the house and he was so honest and friendly. I cannot fault Halletts in the slightest. Both Graham and Marion were incredible the entire way through our house purchase. They were always quick with communicating and really genuinely helpful even when they didn't need to be! Graham and his team sold our house earlier this year. The process was more complicated than we’d imagined but Graham steered it with confidence, honesty and perseverance. We all want our house sale to be quick and hassle free but that’s not always the way it goes. It’s not just about valuations and viewings. You have to ask yourself who you want representing you through the entire process. Having sold the property to us in 2016, Graham had a deep knowledge of the property’s history and of the work we’d carried out in updating the house. We believe this personal touch, experience and great knowledge of the local area helped us to sell our house within weeks of coming to market.
The team of Graham, Sam and Marion are very personable, and were always on hand to take our calls on the sale and purchase of the new property. Graham provided so much guidance and support, and regularly kept us up to date either via email, or more often than not on a phone call, which was very much welcome when we experienced delays at the bottom of the chain. Graham was integral in ensuring that we were able to exchange before Christmas, without his and the teams support, we'd probably still be waiting to move!

Hallett's Estate Agency are an independent local firm with a deep knowledge of the market where they operate.
They place the customer in the heart all that they do always listening and managing expectations in a balanced, transparent and ethical way.
It's easy to sell houses in a climbing market, the test is to cut win/win deals in a choppy market which in my experience is is what Halletts excel at.

I cannot thank the team at Halletts enough for the work they did on the sale of my mums house during such a difficult time for our family.
Graham did the initial valuation of the house for probate purposes and having to deal with other agents in the area to gain other valuations, I found Graham to be by far the most knowledgeable and helpful with not only the speed and accuracy of the valuation but also his help in understanding the probate process.
Our family decided to use Halletts for the sale and as it progressed they kept us all informed regularly without the need to chase updates! Further along in the process, this excellent communication was extended to the buyers and we were all constantly informed with updates as well as proposing helpful solutions to problems that arose.
Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and they really couldn't do enough to answer the countless questions i had and put my mind at ease!
I am so grateful to them for helping make a very stressful time easier and absolutely recommend them to anyone considering selling their house.

They are a very professional and approachable team. nothing is ever too much trouble and we were kept informed every step of the way. If there were hold ups, Graham liased with the other agents to try to smooth things out to prevent delays. We received viewings very quickly after the property was put on the market and these were handled by either Graham or his son Sam. We were regularly updated with feedback from the viewings and once sold, Graham helped to make the process run smoothly. Altogether a great team, highly recommend 10/10.

We bought & sold our last house with Halletts 32 years ago so dealing with them again on our present home made us feel very comfortable. They are a great team, nothing is too much trouble for them. We have recently sold our house using Halletts as our selling agent. The reason we choose to use Halletts is because they had originally sold us the house and we were very impressed with the service they had provided. Six years on and I am happy to say the service is still just as good as I remember. Graham, Marion and their team always go the extra mile, you could also always get hold of someone when you needed to and it was always a pleasure to speak to them. We also ended up purchasing our new house through Halletts too which again was a very good experience. We ended up in a slightly tricky chain which meant Graham had to do lots of additional work, including speaking to solicitors and agents that were further down the chain and constant chasing of some parties. He was always a step ahead though and kept us well informed. I don't often like making recommendations but I would highly recommend Halletts as I know they would provide a fantastic service! It makes a huge difference using a decent agent and a decent solicitor, it can make a usually very stressful event much, much easier!! Thanks again.

We cannot thank Halletts enough for the work they did on the sale of our house.
We were initially very impressed when Graham did our valuation; his knowledge of the area really is outstanding. We found that a couple of other estate agents just compared the sale prices and size (square footage, number of rooms etc.) of other local properties to value our house; however, Graham's knowledge of the popularity and demand of smaller pocket areas, particular estates and roads in the area meant we had a much greater understanding on how to price and pitch our property.
As our sale progressed we had a very difficult time getting the solicitors to communicate to us and each other effectively. Graham, Sam and Marion were exceptional in the way they kept us and the Buyers informed, as well as proposing helpful solutions where the solicitors had no interest in problem solving, and virtually shepherding the solicitors at various points in order to reach timely resolutions.
On top of all of this Graham, Sam and Marion always remained friendly, helpful and approachable. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and they really couldn't do enough to answer the countless questions we had and put our minds at ease. We are so very grateful to them for the care they put into the sale of our house and for making the whole process as stress-free and easy for as they could. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone considering selling their house.

During the search for our home, we have dealt with almost every single Estate Agents in Newbury. Of them all, we found Melissa from the Hallets to be someone who we could trust. She was very responsive and never seemed to hide under the carpets. Although we did not go ahead with the deal on this instance, we did go ahead with her recommendations around conveyancing and mortgage advisers and we had fabulous services from them as well.
