Hewitt Adams have just handled the sale of my late mother's bungalow. From start to finish I have been kept informed by the team. Sophie & Liz in the office have been exceptional and have been polite at all teams and kept me advised with regards to viewings and arranged for the team to accompany on the viewings.
The viewings have been accompanied by John and Matt from the team and they have shown their professionalism, patience and good knowledge. They have always turned up before viewings and ensure the property has been opened up.

From start to finish Hewitt Adams have been fantastic.
Initially Matt came to our property to complete the valuation which we were really pleased with. Matt also answered questions outside of valuation matters, which as first-time sellers, we really appreciated. The photos taken by Matt were great and we had lots of viewings off the back of this.
We dealt with Sophie mostly after this and she was just wonderful. Any queries were answered promptly and we were always kept in the loop in regards to developments. Sophie kept us level headed after two sales falling through and was so calm and transparent throughout the whole transition.
When we were unable to speak to Sophie, other members of the team were always so helpful - one person even responding on a Sunday when a sale fell through (through no fault of Hewitt Adams!). Ben has been really helpful in supporting us on keeping in-touch with the new owners of our former property over matters such as post redirection- they really have gone above and beyond! We really appreciate the consistent communication from all staff and wouldn't hesistate in recommending them to prospective buyers/ anyone selling their home.

Hewitt Adams were exactly what we needed in an agent. We were selling our late parents’ house following their passing. The house has been in our family for multiple generations, previously occupied by our grandmother before our parents. It is a property that has many memories spanning over circa 75 years and it was a tough decision to sell it. Hewitt Adams understood the sensitivities around the sale and provided us with the gentle support we needed. They provided excellent valuation and sales strategy advice and were responsive in communication. They gave honest and transparent advice which created the relationship of trust that we needed. The entire process took circa 3 months and Hewitt Adams supported the swift progress.
We felt like our parents’ home was in safe hands with Hewitt Adams.

Hewitt Adams have managed my rental property from day one, making everything a breeze. No issues, everything runs like clockwork year on year, ensuring all legal obligations are met and any tenant issues are taken care of ASAP.
If I ever have any queries or need help, the director heading the lettings side of the business is just an email or WhatsApp away which is incredibly valuable. All staff I've dealt with have been friendly and quick to reply.
I also like the fact Hewitt Adams are up to date on technology, e.g. sending itemised settlement PDF's each month, using digital inventories, digital signing, etc, as well as being quick to respond over email/text, which can't be said for all companies! This makes things much easier for both tenants and landlords.
I would 100% recommend Hewitt Adams to any landlords needing property management services. Happy customer since 2019.

We sold our house twice with the support of Hewitt Adams! The first time with conventional viewings and we received offers in just a few days but were then unable to find our dream house to move to. On the second occasion, over a year later, Ben Adams advised us to host an open day for 14 viewings and we sold it immediately in a day with competing offers. One of the key reasons for this was we left our house in the safe hands of John from Hewitt Adams who was an outstanding host and guide. He also provided excellent advice about which offer we should consider accepting, which wasn’t the highest value but the most flexible, and this proved to be brilliant advice as this was just the start! We found our next house but the owners wished to remain in it until they emigrated almost a year later. This created numerous challenges but Liz, the progression manager at Hewitt Adams, was exceptional. She worked tirelessly, in evenings and at weekends to keep the chain intact. Our solicitor described the chain as ‘the worst she had ever experienced’ and yet through Liz’s work, in partnership with Jamie from the Constables estate agency, they managed to pull it though. We were then amazed to receive a congratulatory message that evening from Ben Adams who had been following events from his honeymoon in Thailand. What amazing service from the entire team.

What can I say. Having dealt with many different estate agents these guys are just a different machine. From our initial phone call right the way through, hewitt adams have been absolutely faultless.
Our first contact was to arrange a viewing on a property we fell in love with. The viewing was booked in last minute and we were accommodated for in every which way possible. We were met by Mike who was extremely professional and very down to earth. He had no issues informing us of the benefits to living in the area and his knowledge was astounding. He was more than happy for us to take as much time as we needed viewing the property and was not pushy in the slightest. A genuine honest guy.
We then decided to ask Hewitt Adams to put our house on the market and once again, expectations were exceeded. Ben visited us within a moment's notice to value our home. To our surprise, he didn't just throw a value at us (like many others) but explained why and how he thought the price was right. Along with bringing extensive research he had done for us to look at, he also had an excellent knowledge of the market at current and instantly made us feel comfortable.
The following day we decided to place our house on the market with Hewitt Adams. The house was advertised within 24 hours and Ben even visited us on a sunday morning to take the photos which can I say, were superb compared to previous agents photos.
The advert went up and was miles ahead in terms of details, floor plans and coverage when compared to our previous house sale with another agent.
Both Ben and Mike provided their personal contact numbers and had no problem making contact during out of hour periods. Myself and my partner both felt that Mike and Ben had become friends keeping us updated with every tiny step of the process.
Sophie kept us informed with every enquiry. It was quite impressive to find an agent that calls you as soon as an enquiry comes in. We would normally have to chase. We had 2 viewings booked within 12 hours and a further enquiry.
Unfortunately things for us didn't go as planned and we were forced to take our house off the market. At this point I'd expect some resistance from any agent. But instead, Ben made us feel at ease, tried to help us and most importantly, listened. He took the house off the market and promised to keep in touch with the hope of doing business in the future. I genuinely would never go anywhere else.

Just be warned if you need anything from this company later down the line.
Needed a reference for a mortgage, had to chase for a reply, told I’d get a reply within 24 hours and had to chase again.
They couldn’t even get the dates right when they finally supplied the reference, asked for this to be corrected and just got ignored once again. This is all from the director of the company, so doesn’t look great at all! Very unprofessional.

There were issues with the tenancy, however as the company had not responded to the reference request unfortunately I had to contact them to chase this, I was polite in my emails and at no point was I told this is something they do not complete, I found all email replies short and rude. When taking the tenancy back in 2019 all documents were sent to the other tenant and not myself so I did not have a copy of these. As they had put 2020 on the reference instead of the correct year 2019 this was questioned to myself and I was asked to either ask them to confirm they had made an error or prove this was an error. Therefore I emailed to ask if this could be done and if not can a copy of the agreement be sent to myself. Still never received a reply to this email.
The reply to this review is the quickest response I have had from the company.

Gave wrong information for a reference when I asked for this to be corrected by them again no response. This is by one of the directors of the company. Says a lot when they’re unable to supply correct information and correct dates then ignore a request to correct this. Obviously don’t care

Can not rate Hewitt Adam’s highly enough - offering an outstanding service that does not push sales like other agents. Having used Hewitt Adam’s multiple times, I have found their advice to be spot on, all staff to be super helpful and responses to be quick even out of hours! Having let a few properties through them, the process has been extremely efficient - with my most recent letting, Dan was at the property the day after I finished renovations and the listing was live a few hours later. We got 6 viewings and 4 applications, and the tenant was moved in less than 2 weeks from the process start. Well done guys - and thanks again. I won’t go anywhere else for both sales and lettings on the Wirral.

I sold my property through Hewitt Adams this year, having previously bought it through them a couple of years earlier. When it came to selling, Hewitt Adams were my first choice and the only agents that I contacted as they had given me an excellent service when buying previously.
I can not commend the team highly enough, they are proactive, friendly, keep you updated on everything, chase solicitors, answer any questions that you have and all with a lovely manner and good sense of humour. They really do their best to take the stress out of the whole process for you whether you're a vendor or purchaser. I on ly wish they had a branch in the Midlands!
