As a first-time buyer, I recently completed on a house purchase that took around five months, and overall I found Onkar and Simon reassuring and helpful throughout the process.<br><br>My job often means I’m unable to answer calls immediately, but I never had any issue returning calls when I was able to, or communicating via email. Calls were generally the quicker option, but it was reassuring to have email as an alternative when needed.<br><br>There were quite a few issues during the purchase that were clearly outside the estate agent’s control, and these understandably created some confusion along the way. Despite this, I found both Onkar and Simon to be fairly reassuring throughout. One particular example was when a chain unexpectedly appeared where there hadn't been one previously. Onkar, despite having only just returned from leave, went out of his way to try to establish what had happened and why.<br><br>As this was my first purchase, having people who were willing to help clarify things and provide some reassurance was particularly appreciated. I can’t really comment on their service from a seller’s perspective, as my interaction with them was naturally limited to the buying side, but based on my experience, I can’t fault them too much and would be happy to recommend them.

Don't use this agency, there are planty of better companys like for example HUNTERS.<br><br>Unfortunately I had to pull off my offer of buying a house due to extreme aggressive, disrespect and harassment behaviour from Simon nad his colleague Omar.<br>To make it short and simple thats the list of stuff happend during a nightmare period of trying to buy a house from hi-residential:<br>- after placing an offer for house i got a phone call from Omar that another buyer increased their offer, then he asked me if i would like to increase my offer. I increased. Then they called me that the seller chose another buyer with lower offer. That makes no sense to me... then they said they will send me another houses to check, of course they didn't<br>- after wierd seller's decision to chose lower offer i approached the seller and she said that agency informed her that the other buyer gave HIGHER(!). (Well the agency didn't inform me about other buyer offer so i had no chance to bid it and i was left with thoughts that i gave the higest offer)<br>- i had to negotiate the price directly with the seller. after my offer was accepted the agency get mad, calling me with unprofessional mannier saying that the seller was not appreciate me coming directly to me (well she clearly was, because she decided to go ahead with my offer at the end) agency treid to rid of me by contacting the other buyer to try to get better offer from them (clearly the other buyier was agency friend)<br>- after my offer accepted Simon called me with very rude attitudesto telling me that i have 24h to find a silicitor or AGENCY will pull off my offer!!!!-<br>- simon also wanted to have my suveye on the same day my offer was accepted or my offer would be pulled off. i passed a details of my suveye. Unfortunately no one from agency contacted my suveye, however it wasn't a problem to call me a few times a day with disgusting threading behaviour to inform my that my suveye hasn't contact them. Finally i had to contact my suveye to get in touch with agency. After my suveye contacted agency they were ingnored him and didn't give him any date to come to the house.<br>- after multiple phone calls from Simon with thredings i decided to inform him to contact me only through my silicitor. Unfortunately that wasn't respected and he still was calling me all day long.<br>- they told me that my silicitor doesn't reply to seller's silicitor (taht was a lie like everything else they told me as my silicitor forwarded me all emails)<br>- on the Christmas day Simon called me to argue about my silicitor, he didnt stop even when i told him that is Christmas and he had all month to talk about my silicitor<br>-The house was in chain, the seller had no house, however Simon one day after my holiday was calling me(!) That the sale is has not progressed . Hoever when i was sending him email to update me about a process he just ignored it.<br>- after my multiple calls regarding progress of sale he never called me back<br>- after months of threatening from agency with call at any times of day i asked to be contacted ONLY via email unfortunately 1 min after sending the email i received a phone call from Simon<br>- i think i don't need fo mention he has not reply to my emails<br>In summary i really liked the house and would go ahead with the proces but because of bad/customer/disrespectful/dishonesty behaviour i decided to pull off my offer and find amazing help with Hunters

We have just completed an eight-week contract with Hi Residential and, unfortunately, our experience has been the worst we have encountered with any estate agent - or indeed any other professional service.<br><br>When we signed up, Simon made a number of confident promises about the marketing of our property and his plans to generate interest. In reality, none of those promises materialised.<br><br>During the entire eight-week contract, Simon did not contact us once by phone or email to provide an update, discuss strategy, report feedback or explain what actions were being taken to sell the property. Every single update had to be repeatedly chased by us. Simple questions were ignored repeatedly.<br><br>Emails were routinely ignored, phone calls went unanswered and unreturned, and when we challenged the complete lack of communication we were repeatedly given excuses that Simon had been ill or on annual leave. While people are of course entitled to be sick or take leave, this does not explain eight weeks of total silence and a complete absence of proactive service.<br><br>Most concerning of all, not a single viewing was arranged during the entire contract period. We also have no evidence that any meaningful effort was made to contact prospective buyers or actively promote the property. It became clear early that Simon's sales strategy amounted to listing the property online and hoping it would somehow sell itself.<br><br>What is particularly remarkable is that the poor communication continued right until the end of the contract. Once the agreement expired, we emailed requesting confirmation that the contract had ended. That email was ignored. Instead, the property listing was simply removed without any communication whatsoever. No confirmation, no courtesy email, no closing discussion and no acknowledgement of our message. It was a fitting end to what had been an eight-week exercise in being ignored.<br><br>The overall level of professionalism was genuinely embarrassing. Estate agents are ultimately paid for their expertise, communication and ability to proactively market a property. Throughout our time with Hi Residential, we saw none of those things. The gap between the promises made at the start and the service actually delivered could not have been wider.<br><br>The experience was so disappointing that we counted down the days until the contract end. The only thing Hi Residential sold during our contract was their own sales pitch.<br><br>We would not use Hi Residential again and would strongly advise other sellers to look elsewhere.

Poor communication and unprofessional from the employees. Was supposed to have a viewing after not hearing back for a while then the colleague was suppose to arrange a viewing but then didn’t hear from him as he was off work. No update that the property was actually off the market when I called up and asked. Not to mention rude man on the phone who I guess sits in front of his screen all day.

The first agent we had was awful: no communication, no follow-through, always late, and we had to chase everything. It made the whole process stressful and frustrating. Without telling us, the company thankfully switched us to another agent towards completion. Onkar was proactive, reliable, and actually did his job.<br><br>To make matters worse, the original agent kept spamming us for a review, promising a "meal donated to a UK family in need" if we left one. Here it is, let’s see if they keep their word.<br><br>Overall: highly NOT recommended (except for Onkar, who was excellent).

They rent the flat out below me and it’s had a major leak and one of the site contractors actually tried to help them and tell them you know you have to look into this and he was Rudy told by some arrogant woman on the end of the telephone? It has nothing to do with him so be warned people they have been reported to the site agents of where I live and if they do not fix the leak and sort out the problem the management company that run the development as it’s a private development will sue this company and the agent in person for not accepting or even showing any interest or duty of care in the serious leak that has leaked through two floors down to the ground floor

I reported to Hi Residential that my boiler had died and I was without heating or hot water. This happened just as this cold weather started! An engineer arrived the next day to carry out a repair but it was not feasible, . The following day I got a phone call to inform me that I was to have a new boiler fitted. Two fitters arrived and installed the boiler and I must say they worked hard and when they left my kitchen was spotless. Undoubtedly the worst estate agents in the South East and the the poor rating speaks for itself. Halfway through the sale process house was pulled from market. I was abroad and only found out by email. Agent didn’t have the courtesy to call me. Very unprofessional. I use them to buy my house, but I am very unhappy and frustrated. The property was empty for sometime. I have been told the boiler is working condition. Because of the empty property the water was turned off. So I can’t check the boiler. Also there was a leak on the roof. I have asked them about it, answer was, it has been repaired and fixed. But it was completely lye. Before I moved to the property, I have decided to renovate a bit. Then I found one after another issue. I have raised all those issues to the office. Unfortunately hasn’t been resolved. They said, we have been told by the landlord so nothing we can do. Very disappointing. I had to buy a new boiler and repair the roof. So very careful to use them

Terrible customer service from these so called property specialists i have tried to view a property they have on there website for sale i have to ask the question are you really giving your clients the best possible service when it seems impossible to get a response from you. I have been given endless false promises of returning my calls or emails i am a cash buyer & investor & have been left with no other option but to contact the vendor myself.

I asked for the refund of my one week holding deposit and they turned deaf ears. According to them, said said i failed the right to rent due to income when i could prove my job status and savings. I offered to pay 6months up front rent and they rejected my offer.<br>It's so frustrating how they treated me.

AVOID! Both staff and management is rude beyond belief, 0 customer service and very unhelpful. Once they were called "Harrison Ingram", I don't know why they changed name, but I won't be surprised if they were in some big trouble. Despite the name change the unethical attitude hasn't changed at all, not sure how they can still trade. Awful experience, TO AVOID!

They are extremely rude on the phone. They hire people who probably have 0 customer service experience at all and have no idea how to talk to customers. They are unhelpful and clueless about their own policies. Agents are also the same, rude once the viewings are over.<br><br>They also used to go by the name of "Harrison Ingram" - check out the old reviews. They were in legal trouble and changed their name to try and get rid of their terrible reputation.<br><br>One to avoid.

After being chased to see if I was interested in a house I viewed which to be honest wasn't up to scratch, I said I wasn't interest because of a few reasons I'd mentioned before and was hung up on! Wouldn't touch them with someone else's barge pole!

Bias towards landlord! They don't care about tenants, faults in the house are not repaired and they try to blame tenants for them (rented a property which had rat and cockroach infestation and was damping with leakage through the ceiling - they blamed me for them). They do not care about tenants whatsoever as they try to spend as little as possible in actually repairing things in property and they receive their monthly commission from landlords. If you're lucky they might send someone to view it and that's usually after 6 months of constant emails -at the end of the day, nothing is fixed despite paying rent on time each month. I honestly would not recommend renting from them if you want a good standard of living. I'm certainly never renting property from them again.
