A poor example of an estate agent. Their website is almost unusable and unprofessional stating terms like 'Hicks deals with literally hundreds of property transactions every year'. The limited properties on sale suggests this is not the case. Likely due to their lack of effort when presenting someone's home for sale. Look at a Hicks advert on a major property selling website as an example and this is clear. Limited blurred pictures, with poorly worded descriptions. It is pointless enquiring about a property they advertise as they never respond. I feel quite sorry for the people selling with them.... Read more

Awful place to rent with! Would never rent with them again, lied to us about a previous tenant dying there and then about a man who also cut his hand off who then died on the way to hospital. We had lukewarm water for a month until they sorted getting someone out, found out the radiator upstairs wasn’t even connected which caused mould. Ruining all of our furniture - then refused to give us our full deposit back. Property has been relisted by the wouldn’t bothered as they are completely over charging!... Read more

They lied to us and our landlord saying they had contacted us when they hadn’t and got the names wrong on the tenancy. This meant we had to come back again to sign the tenancy. Very poor service and would not recommend anyone renting through them .... Read more
