Hogans would not do repairs in the property I was living in so I had to move they also had me redecorate the house from top to bottom as I got down to the last room I came off the ladder and fractured my ankle evan then they wanted me to finish the decoration evan tho I had painted 3 of the rooms on more than one occasion due to damp and mold they had also left me over Christmas holidays with no hot water or heating... I've give them 1 nd that's just being nice, they are absolutely disgusting the way the treat there tenants nd as for them doing work on the house is non existent, they come out with there klip board and write things down what needs doing nd after years they still haven't done them the only way things get done are if you have to do them your self, nd there houses are realy bad they have no heating in the up stairs bedrooms, there coverd in mold nd that, I've been rushed to the hospital may time because my asthma nd the house was making it worse, nd ask for moving out they make you decorate the house before you can go nd before you get the your bond back, nd ask for the people that work at hogans they are absolutely ignorant, they never listen to what ya tell them, me personally I would never get a house with them ever again coz there are realy disgusting . ????... My girlfriend tried renting a 2 Deanswood View recently. They accepted 1 other application only. They would not take our application even though we offered to pay all fees upfront immediately and offered more than asking price to secure the property. They said NO. I used Hogan's to sell my house. The staff were great. They agreed a sale in two weeks at the asking price and the sale went through with only four weeks. They also helped my with a removal van as I didn't know anyone and they also collected the keys from the property as I was unable to get to the branch which was a nice touch. I used Hogans........ I never will again! nor will i recommend anyone else does. Firstly, the staff seem distracted and unsure of what they were doing. The girl was unfriendly and rude and treated me like I was invisible! I heard her talking with potential clients and what a performance that was. I first approached Hogans as I wanted to rent out my property, the charming (not) girl expected me to do her job, I mean, isn't that why I'm paying you?. After seeing someone else (at my request) I felt a little better, however, the girl tried butting in again. After my house took months and months to rent I expressed my sheer disappointment with them, to be once again treated poorly by the same girl, who in my opinion would be better off working on an oil rig somewhere, away from both people and life in general.... I let two properties out through Hogans. I was first impressed with them when I viewed a couple of their properties for sale. Ian knew all about the situations of the tenants living in them and didn't 'blag' me about anything. So when I did buy two properties I put them both with Hogans to let. As I was unfamiliar in renting out in this area their expertise and local knowledge have been invaluable. They are great, straight talking people doing a professional job. Being a landlord I am picky with agents and I have been impressed for the last 3 years in how they have handled all aspects of management. Complete waste of time. Never answered calls from me, or anyone else trying to buy my property. Slack, unprofessional, incompetent, the list goes on. I used William H Brown to sell my house in the end and Hogans still wanted money, even though they never sold it. Had to pay full amount for them to do nothing, use a company that can sell your house, answer calls and get the job done. Why would you pay for anything less.... Read more
