Absolutely pathetic service. I did viewing for one of my friend and the agent told me washing dryer and refrigerator comes along the apartment. When he moved in we were shocked to see both missing and the agent casually told him that te tenant took it with him. Agents didn’t even bother to make sure that the letter box keys are handed over and now they say we also don’t have it. Such a mess to deal with for someone who has just moved to UK hoping for some support from the agents who are there to help us in this move. Even the second set of house keys are not getting to my friend as the agents say they ll keep those. Won’t recommend to anyone

Absolute worse experience with an estate agent! avoid Senate at all costs. They arrange viewings and don't turn up. When you call they cant give you answers and always say there in the process of changing management as an excuse for bad management. I have just got back from a potential viewing they set up and they had left 6 families waiting without any notification. Dreadful experience!

We approached Peter at Senate after being told that we needed to sell our property withing 2 weeks, if we were to have our offer accepted on our new home - within 2 days the house was very professionally marketed, and duly sold within the week. The Senate team were thouroughly professional throughout, managed all the viewings and were always on hand to make what is a very stressful time seem to move forwards to completion without a hitch. Their prices were competitive and we were able to sell our home, relax and let them do the worrying. Thanks again to all at Senate!

Senate sold a property for me after a recommendation from a friend. 2 previous agents had both failed miserably after it being on the market for some time.
From the moment Jason viewed the property Senate had more viewings in the first week than the others had in over a year !
Kerry and Gemma played a big part in dealing with the legal side as this was a difficult one to sell and had many challenges along the way.

As we live nearby and have seen new people there we assume we have not got the property. Still nothing official
It is not very professional to leave people hanging around when they are playing with people's lives.

Kerry was amazing with keeping me updated and chasing solicitors and other estate agents to make sure was still on track. When I went back for another viewing to measure up the estate agent was amazing at offering helpful hints for the houses set up to make the most of the space given. The communications between all parties were clear and consistent. Absolutely essential to avoid confusion and misunderstanding, in our opinion.
Contacting the Senate office was a refreshing and remarkable / pleasant change. No IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and no multitude of options, for different property related services. Hurrah!
Phone calls were answered very quickly or transferred to a PERSON to take a message.
The images of our property were to a professional standard.

Absolutely shambolic firm .
I had to give one star in order to leave a review - they do not deserve that one!
Haven’t a clue of what they’re doing .
I was buying a simple flat through them for cash and gave up after seven months!
Staff didn’t show any pro-active interest at all - no idea of how to progress a sale .
Words fail me - they’ve probably cost me £1000 in solicitors fees for nothing .
Take my advice KEEP AWAY
This lot have just re- advertised the same property now for the fourth time!!
They couldn’t sell an ice cream to a thirsty Arab in the Sahara during a heat wave.
I found them absolutely useless!
Now advertising this same property for the FIFTH time !!

Senate is a very good small estate agent and management company which gives a 5-star service at 3-star prices. Peter and Kerry Jones and their team sold my house (and found me somewhere to rent close by) with enthusiasm, humour, expertise, kindness and integrity – it was a pleasure to have them hold my hand throughout an entirely new process, and I felt very well looked after. They know everyone there is to know locally, and when I turned to them for advice over a year before I was able to put the house on the market, I received such sensible and useful advice that it was a no-brainer to return to them when it was time to sell. They give their much-maligned profession a good name!

Whether you are looking to let or buy - for landlords and tenants - I would 100% recommend Senate Property Services. Very professional people, Great Service, Quick response and reasonable approach. I had a renting experience with Northwood, Dixons and Partridge Homes but I would prefer Senate Property Services above all. I wish Senate property Services covers all over the UK.

Senate Property Services have been managing my houses for the last 7 years. I have received an outstanding service from them in regards to: (a) payment always made on time, (b) it's always very easy to contact them and also they reply always promptly, (c) I'm informed of any required work that is needed to be done with the information on the work being very clear, (d) if there's emergency work that needs to be undertaken, they will persevere in getting in touch with you in order to explain the emergency.
I have been extremely happy with their service and we would highly recommend them to anyone who's interested in renting out their property with peace of mind.
