I rented a property from Julie's Homes for around 18 months and I can honestly say it was the most refreshing rental experience (I'd been renting for many years). The team did everything they could to assist throughout, nothing was ever an issue, safety checks were all carried out promptly, any repairs were dealt with quickly. Good afternoon My names Becky and I have dealt with Julie's homes for the last 3 years. They have always been warm and friendly. They have been very efficient. Whenever I need help and support they were there. They went above and beyond their job role to ensure that I was looked after as a tenant and as a mum. Julie's approach to resolving my issues has always been consistently fantastic,efficient and helpful. Yvonne has always been brilliant at communicating in a friendly manner and very knowledgeable too. They are both an asset to the agency. My first encounter with julies homes was when I rented a property in Bramley, at the time I was being kicked out of a private tenancy that I had with a different place because the landlord was selling it, at the time I was very worried and contacted Julie regarding a place... on the day of viewing she made me feel at ease straight away and ensured everything went smoothly and quickly to avoid me being stuck with nowhere to live, I lived here for quite sometime and always had a great relationship with Julie if I needed anything I just had to call.... I moved out of that property and didn't speak to her for a few years... since then i have started a Maintenance company and called in and gave Julie my details, I was surprised she remembered me, but she greeted me with the same great customer service as before! since then I have had quite abit of contact with both Julie and Yvonne who are the most lovely and helpful people you could meet! I would highly recommend them for your living needs and I can assure you they have the best Maintenance team in Yorkshire! ????... Read more

Rented place for 7month before I bought my own home (not through this agency), after a year I've received email that I'm in arrears!! When I checked my bank statement it appears that I have had sent last rent by direct debit to agency. What puzzeld me more I didn't found my "bond" back from agency(£500). Contacted the agency it took me few days of calls and messages after I have finally received the Bond!! No sorry or explanation why on earth they put me as arrears!!!... Read more

This company is run by a bunch of unreliable, clueless women that don’t seem to have any idea of how to run a successful real estate business. Put it this way, it took 4 phone calls from me to arrange a viewing of a property (1st advising me that someone would get back to me, 2nd apologising that no one got back to me as they were short staffed, 3rd being really short on the phone and saying ‘call again later’ and 4th finally arranging an appointment). BEST LETTING AGENT! Julies Homes at the best letting agents we have ever let a home from, they are friendly, professional and efficient. Anytime we have had a problem occur they have had the contracting team out to fix/replace the issue extremely swiftly and with minimum disruption. Many thanks to Julie, Yvonne, Christine and the whole team for a wonderful 4 years in a fab home. I only can hope our next letting agent (moved cities) comes even close to matching Julies Homes. Worst estate agents out there. A bunch of women that have no idea what they're doing. Had to explain to the how to forward my monthly statements to me for letting property. They have not the most basic experience of using a computer. Very unprofessional. I was supposed to get a report from the inspection every 3 months (I don't even think the inspections took place) but never got any reports. Used the go four years. Never again... Read more

Continuously charging me and my mother for expenses that have been settled with the landlord himself clearly a lack of communication between an letting agency and the landlord. This company has caused me enough stress and continues to charge me nearly £1000 for a 1 bedroom cottage i should get my deposit back as the expenses are being covered separately with the landlord not the agency. Also i signed the tenancy agreement with WW Estates not aware that Julies homes was behind all this or even that they exsisted and how my file was handed to them i still baffles me without my permission! I would give these guys zero if I could, complete and utter time wasters. I "thought" I was leaving my property in the capable hands of this agency, couldn't have been more wrong. Following recommendation from someone else, turned out they were cheaper than the usual agency, bad choice. I made the first call to them to notify my property was empty the day my tenants handed their notice in. I was assured they would have it listed within the next 24 hours and would contact the tenant to take some pictures for the websites the following day. One week later, hearing nothing back from them, I rang them for an update and they didn't have a clue who I was, what my details were etc, so after giving all my info again, they then assured me there had been a mistake and that they were "waiting for me to contact them with the tenants details" complete nonsense, I specifically recall giving all the info they needed, after all time is money when it comes to rental income. At this point I should have walked away, but stupidly giving them the benefit of the doubt, I let them carry on. over the following weeks, and after numerous follow up calls to chase them to make sure everything was ticking over, I was greeted several times but what I can only describe as complete and utter rudeness. Considering how small the office is, they never knew who I was when I rang up, and following one of my calls, they even demanded that in future, when ringing in, I should in the first instance, introduce myself as the name of my property. This I thought was actually quite a rude statement, (I have a name, how difficult is it to learn it or address me by it) but following my next phone call, about a week later, to see if they had actually got me any viewings yet (they hadn't) I introduced myself as the name of my property and were again greeted by a rude and abrupt response and several excuses as to why they hadn't had any people interested (apparently its really difficult trying to show people round when there are people already living there. This is not true, and my old tenants were extremely nice and cooperative, julies homes just couldn't be bothered). Over the first three weeks I had ONE viewing, who didn't turn up. which I really couldn't understand, due to the prime location, and my property being in a very good condition (its never taken me more than a week of advertising to fill before). I got to my fourth week, I even reduced the price!! and they "say" they had secured about another two viewings. At this point, knowing my old tenants were moving out in a few days, I decided to cut my losses and go back to my old agency, tail in between my legs. Having never had any issues, renting my property in the past, I actually came to the conclusion that if they were as rude to my potential tenants as they were to me, there client, then obviously it was no wonder I was getting no viewings. So I made the call to Homebuyers, and the lovely sweet lady on the phone instantly recognised me and knew my name before I even said it, (despite not speaking to her for well over a year!) she had my property on all the websites that afternoon. and in less than 24 hours I had 5 quality, non dss viewings in the bag for the following day. A couple of days later I had another three tenants who actually even went into a bidding war and offered to pay more per month to secure the property. In less than two weeks back with my old agency, I had secured a quality tenant. If I had just paid the £50 extra and gone to the slightly more expensive agency up the road, I genuinely believe my property would have handed over as a straight swap, when the last tenants moved out. Thanks to the rude and shoddy service I received from Julies homes, I am at a loss of two weeks rent, have the additional two weeks council tax to pay and also gas and electric, keeping the pipes warm and the house safe whilst unoccupied. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME- TIME IS MONEY.... Read more
