I unfortunately had to write this review following an incident with one of their senior employees whose actions were disproportionate an unprofessional. JASON NWIMO MARLA held our deposit for almost 6 weeks with no real reason. He did not reply to emails, avoided phone calls, he never called back, he was basically unreachable. He only answered when I asked the landlord to reach out to him.
We had a dispute with him about some amount on our deposit which was being taken due to end of tenancy cleaning. We had paid a cleaning lady for 8hours to clean the apartment (a tiny 2 bed). Apparently some minor hidden spots were left dusty. Jason decided to charge us 240 pounds for that. Our contract stated “If the report (checkout) notes that further cleaning is required, Knight Frank will arrange this at your cost, in order to put the property in a presentable condition.” The property was left in presentable conditions and the new tenants moved in the next day without any complaints. Yet, breaching contract, 240 pounds money was charged to us without calling any cleaning agency. It was simply charged without explaining why it was 240 pounds and where that money was going . Also Jason he tried to charge us for some mold defects on the ancient timber windows which we complained for years to have fixed.
Jason showed that he didn’t really know much about the flat. He did not bother to go through the history of the repairs, the correspondence, the damages. Its easy to manage the flat when you don’t have to do anything at all.
We found Jason Nwimo uncollaborative, unprofessional and very intimidating. He never gave an apology for his actions (for instance not replying to phone calls).
I hope to never have to deal with someone this mean again and I really do hope Knight Frank take time to evaluate him. Agents should never be nasty. Only because their title says "senior" it doesn't mean they have to power to do as they please to other people. If I was a londlord I would stay away from Jason in fear that he might abuse of other tenants.

I would highly recommend working with Jordan Turian. Jordan is incredibly knowledgeable about the market and was able to advise me and find me the perfect flat despite some challenging parameters and requirements surrounding my search. Even more impressive given how bad the current rental market is! I have known Jordan for years and he is by far the best lettings agent in London. Jordan shows up to each viewing on time and with a smile. He is exceptionally kind and caring and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in finding a new flat. I am looking forward to working with Jordan again in the future.

I wouldn’t recommend them at all if you’re renting. Don’t expect any help from them if you need anything, they’re only interested in taking their cut and provide nothing for it. Repeated phone calls to their office can go unanswered for days. Phone calls bounce around from the office you called to head office and they don’t respond either. Not entirely sure what service they actually provide. Make sure you read the tenancy agreement regarding rental payments and when they are due if you pay anything up front. Good luck!

The worst of the worst. We are a family of 5 3 being young kids under 4. We had a long list of issues which would take months for them to address or respond. The worst part is we suffered carbon monoxide poisoning and mould issues. We was told we was lucky there wasn’t a Tragedy. To top this all off they tried to steal money from our deposit and then give us bad referencing due to their mistakes. Beware when taking any properties they manage as you will be suffering as we did.

I rented a flat in marylebone from this agency , total nightmare! They didn’t tell me anything about problems In this flat , me and my daughter lived one horrible year . After I finally managed to move out knightsfrank gave zero attention to my safety deposit , we try to reach them they don’t ever call back they don’t ever return your calls . They keep making me go back and fourth . This guide you wrongly to gain more time. It’s been one month . I have agreed to all the deductions since third day . The treatment from the agency after you leave it’s absurd ! Not to mention the flat that they the details they mentioned so I can move in was all wrong and after the nightmare of the place ! I do not recommend them at all !

Knight Frank contractors accessed and damaged my property and rummaged through personal items without permission from the tenant OR the landlord. In fact, the landlord stated that Knight Frank arranged "repairs" to the property that he explicitly told them not to perform, yet they did it anyway and then charged him.
When I notified Knight Frank their contractors had left my boiler on, causing large utility bills, and damaged the property, they failed to follow up or notify the landlord, obviously because it would not be a good look for them.
They are basically in this business to rip off both the tenant and the landlord. When confronted, they basically gaslight tenants and landlords. No responsibility or accountability. This is incredibly egregious conduct by Knight Frank in my opinion.

If I could give this a zero star, I would. No idea how they could have such a high rating!! Esp as everyone I personally know who has used Knight Frank also had horrendous experiences.
There is a high level of incompetence and they make it quite clear that you are just another cheque to them. (And when I say everyone, I have probably had to speak to over 25 diff employees when I used to be a tenant). People who work here also seem to leave quite regularly, which also says a lot about the company. But that also leaves you hanging and having to go over again and again whatever problems you were originally trying to resolve.
We had moved to an apartment managed by Knight Frank and despite the hefty price tag, had major problems from day 1. Every month or so, something would break or go wrong, through no fault of our own. Knight Frank never seemed to be that concerned to get things resolved and instead, left us living in discomfort for long periods. The worse was when there was a major fire hazard-which took them about 6 months to resolve. Meaning, we were living with a serious fire hazard for all that time. When they finally acknowledged it was dangerous (after I insisted an independent engineer from Bosch was sent) they simply turned the stove, etc off…leaving us without amenities to cook for almost 3 months. The engineer told me he was shocked there wasn’t a major fire or that we didn’t have a serious accident in that time. And he immediately turned it all off.
And then there were a host of other things like leaks, poor plumbing, appliances breaking down, etc. Nor were we ever reimbursed for all the nightmare and uncomfortable living we had to endure for the entire time we were there. In the one year or so that we lived there, we had about 50 engineers/repairmen come to see various faults.
When we left, they even tried to charge us for some of these faults! And it also took many months of having to push and follow up before we eventually got our deposit back.
Without a doubt, one of the worse companies I have ever had to deal with. Avoid them if possible.

Jordan is exemplary, personable, comforting and everything an estate agent should be… and in central london!.
I managed to Work with Jordan on the back-end of my 4 month property search- and the universe blessed me with this! The agency (and anyone else trying to settle AND be happy in London) are very lucky to have him around. I will follow where he is or wherever he goes!
Not only was he maticulous in picking up everything i was looking for in my new place- but was also increidibly personal. Like a mate.
I didnt feel like i was on a house search with him at all- and i mean that in the best way possible.
we all know the london property market is disgustingly relentless and the majorty of agents chase comission so much so, that you feel like you’re being robbed out of your own choice- with no alternative!
Not with jordan. Despite some properties disappearing before we even made a viewing, i was always made aware in such a manner, that i was also left hopeful, that Jordan would still find me the right one.
Being alert, assertive and at the same time, comforting- is like nothing ive experienced from any Representitive in his industry and its the only time ive respected and enjoyed the company, of an estate agent.
He was on board and with me every step of the way. He was so easily adaptable, if my circumstances/ needs changed - which is a non-existent skill with others atm. He trusted my want, and intentions, in aiming to secure a property -and he stuck with me, despite any missed attempt. I swear; if he had any other client to take care of during our search, i would be suprised! The amount effort and attention made me feel like i had my very own, private estate agent. Such dedication to both me and his work.
I origionally came into this with a set budget in mind- and i was very strict about it. Having been searching for the last 3/4 months; that hadn’t changed.
do you know when some estate agents only see the top end of your budget? despite doing your own research and finding amazing properties within the mid-range- they still seem to only see above a persons affordability.
Jordan knew my limits and was very acommodating and realistic with me about that…
however, he also managed to tap into my ‘dream home/future’ …. the little sh** hahaha !
i was shown a property at the very top end of my
budget -with the luxury of it being before it was available on the market. However, i would have (and have done so with other agents) origionally turned the viewing down due to the price, but i went with it as i trusted Jordan- so knew it was worth a view. He also made me feel like i could make it work and deserved to- convincing/ reminding me that i deserved the best and could achieve it.
To continue even further- Although this property was not specifically under his branch’s management- he still found and brought it to my attention. He even waited for me outside the property to introduce and walk me through, with a representitive from the other branch. What an absolute legend- this was very much needed given my fast-paced lifestyle at the moment. Seeing someone i wouldnt have known could have easily alienated me from this process.
My work is more manic than its ever been right now - these little touches really kept me calm throughout the whole process, i needed this.
and to top it off-
- i then stepped into a property that was more amazing than i ever could have imagined, in central London.
To say it was at the top end of my budget- my decision to take it was made within 15 seconds of a walk around… no word of a lie. i’ve never been so sure about a property.
This will hopefully be my home for at least the next 2-3 years- maybe i’ll even own it myself one day! either way, Jordan will be the first man i text before any decision/ move is made.
No doubt about that.
If you get the opportunity to have Jordan helping you on your search, trust him and make the most of him- he’s a rare find in these stresful searches now’a days.

She was prompt, organized and kind in our email correspondence. Alice would come to our viewing appointments on time with a bright smile. Chervon Pierre from Knight Frank is an absolute asset to the company. Sadly I can't say the same about the other company members I have spoken to who are grossly inefficient and incompetent. Chervon was a breath of fresh air, after moving into what was a unfit property which was misold she quickly rectified all issues promptly and efficiently with grace and professionalism. I understand she just returned from Maternity leave and despite WFH with a young child she handled all requests immediately. I wish she was my main point of contact at the company as she evokes trust and reliability in customers. She deserves a promotion!

2 months and we still not have our deposit back...
We have rented a flat for 3 years and give back cleaner (professional cleaning) and a very good condition.
In the last 2 months, they made several attempts to steal money from our deposit :
- they claimed that the flat was not clean whereas the checkout inventory shows that a lot more rooms are professionally clean then the check in inventory..
- they claimed that a lot of items where missing whereas they allowed us (with e-mail proofs) to get ride of this items...
- they claimed that 2 blankets are missing whereas they appear on the check out inventory (and one other items that must be in the flat), they asked 10£ for light bulbs after near by 100k£ rent...
I do not know who they think they are to try to swindle renters like that...it’s really really annoying...
Avoid KF if you can or be extra extra careful when dealing with them...

James Hewitt (of the Baker Street Office) is an exceptional consultant. He assisted my wife and I with our house purchase this month and there are genuinely no words that could do justice to the outstanding level of service we received. He is extremely professional and diligent in all that the does. His advice and guidance was spot on time and time again. He was almost always on the end of the phone when we needed him and when he was not he would respond/call us back literally within minutes. The level of client care we received was beyond our expectations. He is a consummate professional and a credit to the industry and to Frank Knight!

Utterly unprofessional service. The agents seem to be unable to provide basic communication.
Don’t expect them to actually give you updates through your renting process, even for basic things such as whether your offer is accepted or not. You’ll just wait a week, only to see the ad disappear suddenly and finding out the place has gone.
Caution to readers: if planning to rent though this agency, make sure you treat them like children if you want basic letting agency service. Pester them hourly and keep asking for updates - as they are incapable of doing so.

It was my first time using Knight Frank as an agent to let my flat in Marylebone (March-May 2020). The overall experience was excellent thanks to Marielle Papadopoullos and Abigail Thurston. They were both professional, hard working and responsive. Despite the Coronavirus lockdown, Abigail was actively facilitating contacts and internet viewings which led to a successful tenancy. Abigail was also very responsive to all issues involved in preparing the flat for a successful transition to the new tenancy. I would recommend her to my friends.

I used Knight Frank to sell my father's flat in Marylebone. I interviewed three companies and was the most impressed with Ali Matthews and Daniel Sugarman at Knight Frank. It took awhile to sell my father's flat, but not because of Knight Frank. They worked really hard to sell the flat and were excellent communicators throughout. I started with Ali as my first contact. She was just the right combination of shrewd and savvy (what you want in an estate agent) without verging on ruthless and unscrupulous (which one can find in the industry). We remained on the same wavelength through quite a few ups and downs in offers and withdrawals. Then, when Ali went on maternity leave, she handed over to Daniel who was also excellent. Daniel was always positive and empathic without being unrealistic. He was a delight to work with and constantly updating me without me having to chase. I would highly recommend Knight Frank and those two negotiators in particular.

The accountant in Knight Frank, Edwin is not only knowledgeable in his field but also obliging and

I am lucky to have in Charlotte a friendly and reliable contact person with a problem-solving attitude. I get prompt replies on my e-mails, suitable arrangements are found for both sides to solve my concerns and they are followed up by Charlotte. Do I expect more from a Property Manager?

I have dealt with two employees of Knight Frank, Ayesha, a negotiator, and Jason, who have completed their tasks reasonably well. Jason never left my questions unanswered and always responded promptly via whatsapp and email.
What I don’t like working with the agency was too many documents to prepare, sign, checking, personal visits. It was terrible! But Ayesha helped me to overcome everything. She was very patient and very professional, attentive to details and very easy to work with. Ayesha has done a great job and I appreciate her assistance very much.

The service was very responsive, fully understood the brief and communicative on all aspects of follow up and conclusion. The Marylebone team is wonderfully led by Emily Englander. Since she took over our account in early 2010, I have been in constant contact. Not only does Emily assist with letting our properties nearby, she is also a source of sound advice on all aspects of our portfolio. If I need an objective view on the best way to deal with any problem tenant, freeholder or how to take a fair position on a tenant's deposit at the end of a tenancy (no matter the postcode) she is happy to help me.
