Great service showing us around our new home , so impressed we sold our home through LTC too. Plymstock office sold the house to the first people to view it. The ongoing communication for 4 months was excellent and they regularly obtained updates from the solicitors and liaised with our purchasers. The new homes team were patient allowing us to revisit our new home and measure up as often as we needed.we’ve moved home a lot and they were the most professional team who have worked with us.

Lang & Co have been absolutely brilliant in every way. From the top quality photos and details to gaining a sale at a great price.
In this market it might have been easy to gain a sale but maintaining the sale and keeping all parties informed isn’t. With Lang’s dedicated sales progression team they keep you up to date every step of the way and support you with advice and information.
If you’ve not moved many times before this is a great reason to sale with them. We would not recommend another agent.

We've just bought our first home with Lang Town & Country, from viewing to getting the keys In our hands the whole experience was without fault. Marc took us for our viewings of the house & was extremely helpful with his knowledge of properties & giving us all the information we needed, which led to us putting an offer in! Once the sale was going ahead Nikki was on the other end of the phone whenever we needed her, keeping us updated & doing alot of chasing up for us. It was a long few months (not Langs fault) and Nikki was absolutely brilliant at responding and helping us out wherever she could. Also the rest of the team were extremely helpful and friendly at all times, especially on collecting of the keys was met with alot of congratulations from the whole team & a bottle of bubbly! Which was the icing on the cake. Would & will be HIGHLY recommending to anyone & everyone, thanks again guys!

In 2015 we had finished our home (5 bed, waterside, high spec) when we found another property and moved. I had happily and without incident let properties since 2000 using newspaper adverts then social media etc finding and managing lets myself, ( I am a Plymouth City Council Accredited landlord) i wasn't happy about placing it on gum tree! I approached Lang Town and Country and met Penni at the property she talked me through the options. Initially i had thought i would simply use the tenant find as they have established relationships with markets to relocating professionals, forces personnel and prospective tenants i had no idea how to reach. On discussing further i chose the managed option for the property. Feeling secure that the enthusiastic professional young team combined with experienced management and accounts back up warranted the management fees for our beautiful home. I now place all new tenancy finds with the team, their platforms for finding tenants, referencing, arranging any certification necessary (gas safety, epc'S etc) is slick, friendly and stress free. Pictures taken are fabulous as are the videos. I could do it, but the peace of mind that comes from their careful tenant matches is well worth the fee. Thanks to Richard, Bryony, Sam, Claire and Rebecca.

Good agency with possibly the most comprehensive number of houses in Plymouth. Extremely friendly letting agents. The only reason why I didn't gave 5* is related with communication - the previous tenant didn't left the property in the expected date and I was not told. However, they worked quickly for me to move quickly to the new house.

Bought my first property this year through the Mannamead Rd branch of Lang Town & Country and really couldn't have been happier with the whole process. My offers were responded to promptly and once we'd agreed a price, the sale process was handled very well. There were multiple bumps in the road but none of these were the fault of the estate agent and Debbie, the Sales Progressor, was extremely helpful throughout acting as a go-between with myself and the seller's legal team, I doubt we would have completed on time without her attentiveness and hard work.

The worst property management company I've come across in the UK. When we applied for a property, they pushed us to pay the safety holding deposit on the same day. We did pay it as we were desperate to make our move from London to Plymouth although it was obvious we were not getting it back according to their "smartly gathered" terms and conditions paper. We were sure to proceed it though as we had excellent credit and work history. What a bunch of incompetent people who couldn't understand we did not have work in Plymouth when we lived in London?! Then they agreed to proceed after we explained the obvious. Then there was silence, delayed replies and it came the day we had to move out from our old property and only when I checked the progress by emailing, the manager Bryony replied saying she was on annual leave (an excuse for the delay) and that the guarantor's income needs to be 3X the rent. We could have arranged any amount of guaranters had they informed us on time. They also accused us of lying regarding employment which we did not. We worked at the time of application and my wife gave resignation relying on this particular property. The last email was that they were going to put the property back in market because we did not reply. Why would we?! If you are using this agency be aware of what to expect!!!

This is an edit to respond to what the owner has said.
I didn’t want to go into full details of the so called “cleaning” charges but with that response I had to.
The cleaning they are talking about are mostly non-existent marks that they can only see on pictures. They took those move out pictures in a different lighting than the move in ones but I’m so woke. I took my own pictures as well at move in and move out with the exact same lighting which I will most definitely be submitting to TDS. I’m mostly appalled by the carpet cleaning because it’s exactly how it was when I moved in but they wanted to use my deposit money to have it professionally cleaned. It’s not happening.
And also if you can’t determine what cleaning services charge where are the post cleaning receipts that show that the amount you deducted is what’s meant to be deducted? For all we know you are using people’s deposit money to do standard enhancement for the next tenant which is so not on.

Great overall experience with Lang Town & Country - both the lettings side and residential sales.
I am immensely impressed with the continued contact that the Lang teams have provide. Providing me with a personal email address for Mr Rabin has helped me become 'in the know' with any up and coming properties that are instructed on the market.
They personalise their contact and make you feel like you are the only person looking for a property.
Although the lettings team were helpful and friendly while out on viewings, myself and my boyfriend decided we would like to buy.
The team were helpful in pointing me in the direction of the Sales Team who contacted me immediately. We are first time buyers and felt happy and calm when dealing with the team. We are now in the process of buying a property with Bradley's estate agents but we both wish we were buying with Lang.

I could not recommend this agent enough. Extremely professional team that leave the others in their wake - switched on, professional, courteous and extremely efficient.
Having visited about 12 agents in the city this team stand head and shoulders above the rest and I would not consider using any other if I ever moved again.

When looking to sell our house in Plymstock there really was only one choice especially having bought it through LTC. Ours sold within 2 days and Paul, Andy and the whole team kept patient with us whilst we found our new home which they also found for us. The service on both our sale and purchase was second to none and they kept us informed every step of the way even calling when there was no update. Having registered with other agents in the area some were not even really interested in finding us a house, sending us details of anything even if it did not fit our criteria. If you are looking for an agent which is pro-active do not look elsewhere with very competitive fees. Do not fall for the low fee agents patter they really do not provide the same level of service and will drive you insane at a hugely stressful time.

Having lived and bought numerous properties, both residential and commercial all over the world, the team at Mannamead office were great. Very professional but at the same time made us feel very comfortable and the process so easy. We were always able to speak to someone in the office if we required any advice or just a question needing to be answered.
The after sales help was just as great, being new to Plymouth they were able to recommend painters, decorators and a fabulous builder to us. When ever we decide to sell and purchase again, we will only use Lang Town and Country, we have recommended them too to friends. We would highly recommend this estate agent! All we can say is THANK YOU!
