I recommend Leonards to anyone looking to sell their house. They are professional and diligent and have great local knowledge. I had an older, empty, slightly quirky property to sell, and Leonards did a great job for me. They offered good advice on how to present the house and the initial price point attracted loads of viewings. Leonards showed prospective buyers round on my behalf and gave me great feedback based on viewers' comments. The market went through a quiet patch, but Leonards were always on the case. We eventually found a price point that brought the offers in, and between the offer being accepted and completion they rang me at least weekly to keep me up to date on the progress of surveys, legal matters and so on.
Sue Nixon was my main point of contact throughout, but Graham, Bridget and other members of the team also helped. The were all fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them all.

Excellent service, from the first meeting with the valuation man (Neil), who went thro the market valuation and also rental opportunities and then developed the sales brochure.

Sold my house through this fabulous company. This was a delicate and difficult situation I was dealing with. My agent was just amazing. She kept me fully updated,supported me all the way from initial listing to sale providing advice a guidance all the way through. My agents assistant was also super keeping me informed if my agent was off. The gentleman from the other branch helped so much from initial contact and with some advice re repairs and sorting out an issue for me. Regards the process, selling a house is stressful but my agent took that stress away for me as much as she could. This is a lady who really cares about her clients and from an emotional perspective, puts her whole heart and soul into doing everything she can to help. Extremely disappointed with Leonadrs lettings team. Viewed a property last Wednesday (10th April), we completely fell in love with the place. Called later on in the day to express our interest, was told to fill in a pre application form (not an actual application form). We have since then followed this up with calls, to be told its in front of the manager. Monday evening, sent an email asking if there was any update. Nothing! Called again today Wednesday (17th April) to be told that they have had an accepted application form! Why were we not given the same opportunity to apply? All that was said today was that the decision was only made today and someone should of called to say we were unsuccessful! Why is is so hard to communicate properly with your customers?!

Sue has to be the most brilliant person I've ever met in Hull and I can't thank her enough for everything she's done for me.
My chain wasn't the easiest to navigate, but Sue is wonderfully relentless in her persuit of fantastic customer service and chased not only my solicitors and my sellers solicitors (who she was acting in behalf of), she chased other estate agents within the chain.
She rang me on a weekly basis to keep me informed and made everything a lot more simple than it would have been without her.

I was originally drawn towards using Leonards for the sale of the family home because of their association with Gilbert Baitson Auctioneers. This proved to be a very good decision with Baitsons doing an excellent job getting the property ready for sale. With regards Leonards, I initially dealt with valuer Neil, whose advice and knowledge of the market was crucial to the final good outcome. I am also greatly indebted to his inter-personal skills since he had to agree arrangements for the sale with more than one family member. Once on the market I was principally looked after by Sue and Megan who did exactly what they had promised, to find the most appropriate buyer for the property. Later in the process they liaised with me and everyone else on a regular basis to ensure a smooth progression to completion. Had an emergency this Christmas day with the plumbing and had water all over the downstairs floor. I used Leonards a few years back now to maintain my property I was letting out at the time. Awful service to myself, great for my tenant- promised the tenant the world which ended up me being over charged for poor workmanship for jobs that quite frankly didn't need doing and could have been done for a few quid. I was charge £65 to replace a back gate lock, ridiculous but they did this without asking first then charged me. As I wasn't local at the time I put my trust in them which really backfired. I don't recommend them at all.

This review is not about their property services, it's about their duty od care for the safety of the public.
On Tuesday 14th July 2020 I had ridden a bike for over 30 miles. I went down Hedon Road in Hull on the path. But because I was aching and things, I went slow near the fence so it was safer for anyone else on a bike to pass and so I was further away from the road. I looked and there was no-one there at all that could go in front of me from the car park outside of Tramsco and some other companies. All was clear.
So I looked down to stretch my neck which I really needed to do. But one of Leonards' signs was there. It was sticking out at head height over the public path. I went in to it head first.
Leonards said they put the sign inside the grounds and wind must have blown the sign outwards.
I did not know the wind could blow a sign round and then tighten it all up so it couldn't move again.
Leonards caused an accident which gave me a headache and they still have not given me any compensation.

After renting a property for 3 years where we were told that the landlord is quick to sort out repair issues etc that was never the case we gave up and moved out bearing in mind some of the issues were badly fitted windows and front door that didn't meet fire safety standards as it would jam up among other things in communication about leaving I was told no deposit back as I had ruined the property which in its self was ruined anyway plus never heard a thank you for leaving a new cooker in there dispite it coming with out one rude and uninteresting if you are having issues with anything
