We engaged Logie & Co to sell our late father’s flat in an over 55’s development after Logie & Co successfully sold our neighbours house within days. Although a new company and with a small selection of properties we are so glad we used them. Sean is exceptionally experienced and unlike any other estate agent i have used, he was diligent in researching the price we should ask for the flat and his approach is refreshing in that he is both honest and responds promptly. He went over and above to understand the over 55 development and his design creativity meant he captured the benefits of the flat making an engaging listing. His efforts paid off and in a difficult market he secured us a good offer quicker than we had expected. He was always on hand with advice and guidance and gave us regular updates while marketing the property including internet stats and suggestions on how we could increase interest. He was extremely patient with our many questions and indecision, and we found him to be proactive, always contacting the other parties in the sale and providing an update on the progress before we had to ask. We have dealt with other agents and never experienced such an outstanding service as the one Logie & Co provides. He went above and beyond to make the rental process as smooth as possible. What really stood out was Sean’s attitude - he made the whole process feel collaborative and respectful, which isn’t always the case with letting agents. He even made himself available on a Saturday to accommodate our viewing, and the turnaround from that first viewing to a fully signed lease by the following Thursday was incredible. Communication was always clear and timely, and we really appreciated how proactive and organised he was throughout. Having been with a large estate agent firm for the last year managing my rental property it was lovely to find Sean at Logie and Co. who will fully manage my property and for less than I was paying before. It turns out various elements of the service I had been paying for, I hadn't been getting, such as, tenancy inspections, managing the tenants communication, sourcing suppliers for electrical/plumbing works - all of which I have had to do myself whilst working full time and running a small business. It is so clear that Sean's whole ethos, having worked in the industry for the majority of his life, is geared towards the client and managing their property or needs rather than being target or sales driven. From the outset, Sean put my mind completely at ease and sorted everything out for me - checks, tenant relationship building, all documentation - and kept me up to date the whole way along the process of taking over the management of my property from the other firm. In fact, I have probably spoken to/messaged Sean more times in the last month than I did with the larger, allegedly more established, firm who has(n't) been managing my property.
