I have had an excellent experience with Mark David Estate Agents in Deddington. From start to finish they were helpful, proactive and incredibly easy to discuss matters with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always focused on finding solutions rather than creating obstacles. Their communication was clear and consistent, and they worked hard to keep the sale moving quickly (which made the whole process far less stressful). Mark David sold a bungalow in Middle Barton for us. It was a gruelling experience for both parties in a hard market. The overall process took eighteen months with two false starts (sales falling through). Despite this, the service from Mark David was professional and responsive throughout. First draft of the sales particulars were not at the standard I expected, but this was quickly corrected and through the sales process staff were good, particularly during viewings and then discussions with interested parties after. In the end, when the second sale fell through, it was Mark David knowledge and expertise that produced a replacement buyer in very short order. This arose from their strong knowledge of the location and possible interested parties, so we were very grateful to be with. Highly recommended for this area... Read more

We bought our house though Mark David 10 years ago and had a great experience then. Mark loosely kept in touch over the years and when the time came to move on we had no hesitation in asking Mark back to list the property once more. With the help of the very experienced Sarah Morris in the Deddington office, we were introduced to a buyer who was a perfect match for the property. It was a bit complicated because our buyer was moving back to the UK having spent time overseas but both Sarah and Mark managed the process and kept us informed of developments at all times. Mark David do NOT follow The Property Ombudsman Code. They submitted a Dual Fees invoice despite not making an Effective Introduction and not providing a viewings list. Within 35 minutes of querying the invoice, MD threatened court. Their contract contained no reference to The Property Ombudsman Code despite the logo being on their website etc. Learnings: i. TPO must take precedence in the contract; ii. MD will refuse to address queries and will quickly resort to court.... Read more

The day we moved into a lovely cottage in Kings Sutton the neighbours immediately told us of an extension due to start within weeks. The neighbours also informed us that they have a right of way leading around our cottage, we were also never informed of prior to moving in. This was upsetting for us as a family because we put our trust in Mark David Estate Agents and have since found out that this was common knowledge between them and the neighbours. Within weeks we had drilling through the day, dust everywhere, forced to park the car on the road due to skips being parked on the drive and people walking freely around the house. My breastfeeding partner was (more than once) witness to builders looking through the back window as she fed our 6 month old daughter. We tried with Sue (Mark David employee) to communicate our upset, this was to no avail, on one occasion when mentioning the builders looking into the house, Sue responded with "surely you can close the blind". Please make sure that if you use this company you are made aware of everything prior to moving in, do not get caught out like we did, because if you do, you'll be dismissed and ostracised....
