Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were initially told to pay reference fees, which are not legal. After being told to complete the referencing ourselves, we called to raise the issue and were then offered assistance. We received no updates for several days, only to find out the application had not passed. Towards the end, it became clear I had passed the checks and we knew my partner likely would not due to credit issues, yet we were still advised to pay. We would have appreciated honesty and transparency from the start.

Absolute disaster! Cannot trust these guys! They accept your offer, then sell it to someone else without informing you. Very poor communications, had to chase up with agents several times. They make you get survey booked and paid for, then secretly sell elsewhere!! The manager called Waqas is good at making up stories, and good at taking money under the table!!! Very unprofessional and unpleasant traumatic experiences

Very poor service! Absolute nightmare experience. They are good at lying and creating false stories once your offer is accepted. They are lazy, very unprofessional and not productive! Had to chase them up several times. They take bribe from other buyers and tell the first buyer false stories or give false hope leaving them hanging. Beware of the manager called Waqas!!! Good at sweet talking and very slimy!! I paid for survey after they accepted my offer, but then sold it to someone else who offered more money plus bribe!! Absolutely disgusting!!!! Do not trust these cowboys! Worst agents on the planet......

Unfortunately have to change my originally great review, even despite a member of their staff helping me resolve a difficult situation with my property being occupied (who's handled things firmly and professionally, saving me £££ in fees). HOWEVER, they were extremely lazy during the sale process, it was hard to get through to the owner of the business, I've heard countless excuses and all I cared about was my property being sold. I have not heard about any viewings taking place, had to chase myself, and generally felt like it wasn't given the attention it deserves. I was told my property was cleaned prior to viewings, and when I got there it was very dirty, with oil on the ceiling and generally did not look presentable. I could have organised cleaning myself it wasn't an issue, why lie to me about such a crucial detail? I am now with a major high street agency that is very proactive constantly sending me viewing reports and working with me to sell, I can really feel the difference. Just annoying, as lost so much time with Maybury.
