We couldn't be happier with the service provided by My Property Club. After two viewings, the house sold in a week of being on the market. Being relatively new to selling and buying a house, everything was explained well and any questions asked were answered. Georgia is an absolute super star!!! After a quick start to the process there were set backs with Solicitors, which meant I was constantly on the phone and email to Georgia, and she did everything to keep myself and all parties up to date. A Truly Horrible Renting Experience... I rented a house through My Property Club, and it was by far the worst renting experience I’ve ever had in the UK. When my daughter and I first viewed the property, it didn’t seem too bad at first glance. I assumed, like most people would, that it would be cleaned before we moved in. There were two filthy fridges, but the agent assured us they would be replaced. After we paid a £300 holding fee for the checks, we were told the fridges would actually stay — take it or leave it. At that point, we were desperate for a place to live, and walking away meant losing that money. So we accepted the property. When we got the keys, the house was shockingly dirty — I've never been in such a neglected place. Even after 10 people helped clean it, it still felt filthy. Within a few weeks, the drain was blocked and toilet paper started flooding the garden. The tap was leaking and took over a month to get fixed. The roof was leaking and they never resolved it, leaving the house smelling of mold and damp constantly. Communication was poor. Every time I contacted the agency, they passed responsibility to the landlord and took forever to respond. This made life incredibly stressful. Several radiators didn’t work during a period when temperatures dropped to -12°C. We had a newborn baby and couldn’t even give him a proper bath because the house was freezing. Meanwhile, our gas and electric bills were through the roof. To make things worse, when they finally sent someone to look at the boiler, they broke it completely. We were left with no heating or hot water overnight during freezing temperatures. The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because the team was at least understanding during the moving-out process and tried to be helpful with the paperwork and flexible about the date.But everything else about this experience was a nightmare. No one should have to pay £1,200 a month to live in a house that is not even in a livable condition. I wasn’t going to speak out, but people deserve to know what they might be getting in to...
