Very pleased with my experience renting with Nupad, the property was painted before we moved in and the garden clear and it was made crystal clear to me the property had to be handed back in the same condition to avoid any charges which is standard when renting. Found Sadie to be extremely helpful any issues we had she sorted promptly And happy to report we got our full deposit back. Highly recommend these guys.... Read more

I don't even know where to start. At first they only wanted to give us 10% of the deposit back, even though house was cleaned by us. To compare, a year before we rented the house from Lords Associates and we left it in a bad condition right after the party. They only took £100 out of £500 that each of us paid. Not with Nupad. They basically tried to renovate the house with our deposit. Me and my friend came over to the house the day after moved out and spoke to the cleaning crew. They told us how they save costs by not removing mold and only painting over, so next tenants have to pay for it next year as well. The oven was cleaned by us, but they took £60 for cleaning. I could be pointing out more and more. There's so many agencies SO PLEASE FIND A BETTER ONE. We didn't agree to the deduction they were trying to make. Eventually, after a couple visits in the office and 100s of emails with the agent Sadie Shoolbread, telling we will sue them, we managed to get some more of our deposit back. It is disgusting to steal money from students that are already in difficult financial situation after Coronavirus.... Read more

Threatened us by saying they would take our deposit even if we were just pointing out faults with the house, there were a lot. Tried charging us at the end of the year for problems that had been there before we moved in. Didn't fix our back gate for ages when it broke and some random person moved into our shed because of this. Rude staff, there nice until you sign the contract and move in then they don't care anymore. I can carry on listing there problems, the best day is moving out and never having to deal with them again.... Read more

NUPAD - Very unhelpful! I contacted NUPAD today to request a letter of confirmation of my tenancy duration and they said they were very busy this week and they'll look in to it next week, and I was quite OK with that response. But, the person whom I was talking to (Andrew Schoolbread) also added the following response - "I don't get paid for the work I'm doing for you, it might be beneficial to you but it's not beneficial to me, the landlord pays my fees and tenants don't, besides, I don't get paid for the job that you've requested". Absolutely stinking attitude you have. Yes, the landlords pay your fees and I'm sure tenants would have paid you fees too. It was just letter I asked you for. At least Andrew Schoolbread was honest enough to say, that he was only interested in clients who are paying him now and not ex-clients who bring no financial benefit for him. But what he should understand is any successful business thrives on ex-clients' loyalty, referrals through their positive experiences. I did not get that and please avoid.... Read more

Last year, me and all of my friends that I knew who used this company for accommodation were leeched off hundreds of pounds each from the deposit. Yes, they take the inventory with a third party but there's clearly something shady going on; early on when we moved in we reported things that were broken in the house and we were told it was going to get fixed, but by the end they were never fixed and we were sent an email saying 'this is what the inventory company said you you are responsible for' and we were charged for them and loads of other random things like marks on walls that none of us remembered or believed existed, but we felt powerless because we couldn't prove it. We didn't even get an inventory till about a month after moving in, just make sure you take pictures of EVERYTHING when you first move.... Read more

After a bad experience of student renting this year with another agent I was so nervous finding another house this year but NU pad were so helpful from the start ! Amy in particular was so quick finding viewings for us even when we lost a housemate and had to change the amount of rooms we were looking for she’d found us a whole bunch of nice houses the next day. The whole team are very friendly too and we’ve found a great house for our last year at uni ! Couldn’t recommend NU pad to students enough !... Read more

Highly unprofessional agents. I have recently made a complaint to them regarding loud noises from music, partying, shouting and yelling in a quiet neighborhood where they have rented rooms to some unprofessional studnets which are causing a havoc with their anti social behavior. Numerous complaints have been made but nothing is sorted out and we are still going through sleepless nights because of the loud noises which go after midnight almost everyday. When I called them about this issue, the lady on the phone was super rude and wanted to end the conversation without giving me an assurance that this will be sorted. Rate you Zero (0)for professionalism and for renting rooms to people who are causing trouble to others.... Read more

Useless. One of their staff (Raymond) did not know that the Republic of Ireland was not in the UK. This incompetence created issues concerning banking arrangements for guarantors and payment of deposit fees for tenants. Nupad work with landlords who have previously displayed an unwillingness to respond to tenant's concerns or requests to carry out repairs. Additionally, they are unreliable in communicating repair needs to the land lord, despite multiple requests. Based on my own experiences, I would advise anyone reading this to stay away from Nupad; but I would reiterate this advice to students in particular.... Read more

Just avoid ! Very nice until you sign the contract. Then pretty much downhill from there. House was a mess when we moved in. And they charged us exaggerated amounts for cleaning after the move out ! Just don't waste your money.... Read more

Terrible agency. Me and my flat mates from Brunel rented a 4 bedroom property and the house had bed bugs! The landlord was trying every way possible to get money from us and NuPad didn't support or help us at all. It's totally unacceptable to advertise and lent houses that have not been properly cleaned to students!... Read more

It’s a scam stay away!!!! Me and some uni mates used NuPad for our student accommodation, they ripped us off on everything they could and charged us for stuff that was already broken, for example the plug sockets in the kitchen didn’t work from before we moved in and then they said we broke it and I was working before when it was not and they charged us extra for this. But this was only one thing of 100+ scams they did. At the start of the year they asked us to take pictures of any marks in our rooms so we would not get charged for them at the end of the year. I did that and then at the end of the year they said i made marks in the room which were not there before and therefore did not give me my deposit back. Also Carol was verbally abusive to me when I went into the estate agents to get my keys for the first time shouting in my face very loudly and aggressively as if she was going to beat me up, I now know you can be arrested for being verbally abusive and harassment which is definitely what she did to me. And then when you ask for the manager everyone who works for them will lie and say it’s her (which by the way none of them are the managers) and if you think you can’t be arrested for being verbally abusive you can because in my workplace one man was being verbally abusive to a colleague and we rang the police, my colleague made a statement and he was arrested (you don’t have to be physically violent to be arrested). I have never in my life met such rude people like Ray and Carol. They are the scum of the earth and do illegal stuff as mentioned previously. STUDENTS: STAY AWAY - they will steal all your money and lawyers cost £300 an hour so you have to be very rich to sue them but then if you were rich why would you go to such a bad/rubbish esatate agents and live in Uxbridge. If you don’t believe what I’m saying is true then you’ll have to find out the hard way. Also all those good reviews are fake, the company posts them pretending to be other people.... Read more
