In case you're thinking of instructing this estate agent, just so you know, they won't show anyone round houses if they aren't in an immediate position to proceed. We are looking to move to Crowborough or Uckfield and don't live in the area, so we wanted to view a property whilst we were visiting friends (the friends we are moving to live nearby to). Our current property is being redecorated ready to go on sale. We tried to view a house and the man I spoke to rudely point blank refused to show it to us as we couldn't immediately proceed with the purchase. Other agents in the local area have been far more helpful. I would not use this agent for marketing my property in the future, nor would I view a house being sold by this agent. EDIT: in response to the reply below, obviously Bob Dobbalina isn't my real name... But I wasn't even asked my name on the phone when I called. EDIT 2: over 4 months later and the empty house that had "lots of interested buyers already in a position to proceed" still hasn't been sold and was listed on Rightmove again as reduced.????...
