As a landlord or tenant, I would highly recommend Property Foundations Group (PFG for short). I have dealt with Kristen, Adam and Paul, all good people with their morals in the right places, something that is rare in the world of property investment.
I found PFG to be very professional and thorough in the way they do things, keeping the interests of tenants and landlords great at all times, and they are always on top of the safety compliance requirements that do often change. They seem to know how to keep their cool and coherence, which is a big plus in such a chaotic industry as property letting.
My rental was a flat, but I also observed that their Room Lets have good systems in place for communal areas being cleaned by cleaning contractors, something I noticed when I was meeting a friend at one of their other properties. More importantly this means that tenants who rent rooms from PFG don’t have to argue who is going to wash up, clean, vacuum, and so on, and landlords that want to let out their properties as rooms don’t have to get involved in as much headache like this.
They also have a good maintenance booking system for anything that goes wrong. Fortunately in my case I didn’t have to use it, but I did a test run (which I later cancelled) just to see how well it worked.
I always worry that something could go wrong and the landlord is on holiday (or something like that), but when renting through PFG, there really is no need to be concerned about this, as they have access to contractors around the clock.
Safety is utmost priority. PFG were really on top of my safety:
During my mid-tenancy, the Annual Gas Safety Check was due. I wasn’t really keeping a very good track of my diary at the time, so when it came to this VITAL day, I was unintentionally unavailable. Paul went above and beyond his call and duty to make sure the inspection was carried out on time, by going out of his way to reach me successfully (without any intrusion). Now this might, to some readers, seem a bit trivial, but actually it really isn’t, because Gas Safety Checks are often carried out EXACTLY 1 year after a boiler installations/upgrades/repairs, and there are parts in boilers that only last 366-400 days so that they stop working just after the warrantee period expires.
In otherwords, had it not been for the systems PFG put in place, the inspection could have lapsed over that 366 day boundary, putting me in a potential spot of danger. It’s important for readers to diarise their safety inspection dates to avoid the same sort of thing happening.
The half-yearly inspection was also all-fine, safety wise, as well. Jenny asked me whether I was happy for her to take photos of the smoke alarms (that are in every room) to show to their Maintenance Team just to make sure there weren’t any issues, and it was all fine.
All in all, very good.

I couldn't be more wrong. They set up a WhatsApp group with me and dealt specifically with my rental standing in a timely and efficient manner. They always kept me in the loop as to what certain situations were regarding the place I was living. Thankyou all cant fault you!!

We rented one of the property of PFG.
We just ended our contract but we are happy how they manage us.
If we just did not have problem with the tenants downstairs we might still be staying in the property.
We are thankful with Paul how he dealt with our issues and the agency how they responded with our needs.
With regards to our check out, they are really honest with the inventory and we are happy that we got our deposit honestly and responsibly.

I had a very disappointing experience with the service. I rented a flat in Reading, and there was a persistent mould problem throughout the apartment. Any communication with the agent was unhelpful, and they often blamed us for the issues. I also had to wait over a month to arrange for the return of my deposit.

I live below an apartment that is rented out by the agency, and ever since the apartment was rented, the people upstairs have been making noise and walking heavily. Sometimes, their friends also come over, staying for about two weeks, and there are usually around 7-9 people in total.
I reported these issues to Paul (the manager) with clear evidence; he even saw what is going on in the apartment himself. He assured me that the problem would be solved, that he would take action, and that a carpet would be installed. He told me someone would come to take measurements and that they were in negotiations with a company to handle the carpet installation.
However, nothing has been done so far. These are just lies up until now.
Officially, there are 3 people living in the apartment above me, but in reality, there are about 7. It has been 5 months since they moved in and 4 months since I have been promised a solution.
Paul Surtees, I kindly ask you to resolve the issue with the people upstairs so that we, those living in the apartment below, can live in peace. Stop avoiding the issue and take action!
Once you resolve the problem, I will leave a positive review and apologise for the accusations I have made against the agency you work for.
Until then, however, all your promises remain empty words.

An excellent meeting full of great information from great speakers.
Every meeting has something to help those attending.
When required there is supportive training accessed only by demand and not by sales.
It is very educational and inspirational and after attending for a year it became clear that our organisation could help many of the members and decided that helping the meeting by sponsorship would be a good way to assist.
Meeting the new people and understanding the different business models they all operate makes the meeting very interesting.
There is a lot of support no matter what stage you are at and young committed individuals are encouraged and supported.
It is always worth going and I learn something new and valuable every month.

If you are looking for a mentor whether it be for some specific advice or for longer term support, Adam Vickers is fantastic and will help you to succeed in your property journey. He reminds you to always keep your goal in mind and the importance of mind set but will help you set out clear steps to get there. Maybe his ex-teacher background means he is well qualified to deliver material (and his knowledge is vast in property) clearly and succinctly with no BS ! He listens well and genuinely cares about helping you to succeed, responding personally and quickly to your questions no matter how small. 5 stars ?? plus without hesitation.

After viewing a property and accepting it subject to references, the property was let out behind our back. We were in the middle of credit checks and referencing and deeply annoyed because we were told it was because the landlord needed money and seems to have wanted rent upfront.
Not once were we informed to be asked if we could pay a higher deposit or rent just to be given a chance, despite providing information and evidence that we could. It seems this agency works with landlords that only care about profit not if they find the right tenant. I would be careful working with them. As after all the hard work of collecting references and documents so that me, my husband and two month old baby could find a new home, it was offered to someone behind our back. We would’ve been able to and happy to pay a little bit extra for a home. Be careful. Very disgusted, disappointed and wouldn’t recommended.

Well, where do I start? I started my property journey last year in March 2020. I managed to find lots of free and useful information from the internet, networking and support groups, etc & I was reluctant to carry out any paid training. I attended a few ‘free’ training weekends, where everyone was running to the back to get the “last discounted price”... I lasted one day!
In December I realised that whilst I had lots of knowledge, I wasn’t progressing or making any physical steps towards where I wanted to be.
I was then recommended ‘The ‘Property Foundations Group’ training by two women who I respect within the property industry. So I jumped on a discovery call with Adam and straight away we connected. There were no hard sales just a great conversation with Adam taking the time to understand where I was currently at, where I wanted to go, and how the course could tie in with this.
Initially, I was looking at HMO courses as this is the strategy I was interested in, and I still am. But after seeing several HMO developers adapting their strategy during Covid, I realised that it's better to have a strong understanding of all property strategies and the business and investor elements that come with them.
So where I am at now... I'm in the last month of the course and Adam and Ben have both increased my confidence and my knowledge. I look forward to the 1-2-1 and group accountability calls. They provide me with structure, guidance, and clarity as I work my way through the course (this has been a major part of my progression).
The no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point teaching style works perfect for me, and as a result, I'm putting in offers from unmortgageable properties to ones where I can reconfigure and add value. I'm able to look past the pictures and head straight to the measurements to see what strategy I can apply and if the numbers stack.
I'm getting quicker at deal analysing and I have investors wishing to carry out joint ventures with me. Ultimately I would not be in this position if I didn't sign up for the course. I've developed in so many ways in the five months that it makes me excited to see how much more I will accomplish!

I am just over half way through the 6 month mentorship programme and I have to say, I am glad the stars aligned in a way that meant I was led to this place. Having done many courses and had previous mentorship experiences, this was definitely the game changer. I am a people person and so it was important for me to have a mentor with whom I resonate and share values with. I am also hyper analytical, sometimes to my detriment and so it was important to me that my mentor had the level of understanding that surpassed the typical “you have just got to do it” and rather he understands the emotional intelligence behind decisions and can work with that to provide better outcomes. This was the sale for me!
However, from an education stance, I have had so much knowledge and information given to me prior to this course to which lacked the details I felt were needed for me to apply. I had an idea of the “what” but never really understood the “how”. Within the last 3 months, I have taken action and applied my knowledge more than I have in the last 18months. Having a programme that does not expect an assumed level of prior knowledge was exactly what I needed. The small group is also a massive win, meaning we can all have a better understanding of each other and help and support each other forming closer relationships. I genuinely feel that the programme is tailored to suit the needs of each individual whilst teaching the same content - true sign of a good teacher. Accountability calls and a true hand holding experience is what I need, and I feel it is finally happening for me… I am so grateful and genuinely excited about my future in property investing.
