I have rented from RKLucas for 4.5 years. Initially, they were great. However, in recent years there have been many changes in staff and there has been a massive decline. I have been awaiting repairs to my house since Nov 2023 and have 2 rent increases while waiting. Works that were completed were done to a poor standard (shower needed replacing, builder cut the whole in the wrong place in the panel and glued a glass star mirror with a boarder which is falling apart due to the water and I have loose glass hanging in my shower which again has been reported numerous times and still hasn’t been documented on my property file). Most recently my key snapped in the door while the lock was out so the mechanism had to be removed to push the door closed making the door unable to close or lock. Imagine having to pay good money to have to use your chair to hold your door closed. I have now been unable to secure my property or even close my door properly for a month and can’t get a reply from anyone regarding any of the works. I have even emailed the 3 directors with no acknowledgement. Happy to take my money but not happy to give any help in resolving. When I do call I get spoken to like a naughty child as though I’m an inconvenience to them despite me being a good tenant paying my rent and looking after my property. Shambolic. Absolutely avoid.

We bought a bungalow in Haverfordwest through RK Lucas and they were helpful all the way through the process from the initial viewing to the completion day. I always found the sales staff friendly and available when needed or quick to call back if they were out.
I would use them again and come highly recommended.

We came across RK Lucas when we were looking for our forever home in Pembrokeshire. We asked to view a bungalow in Hook. When we arrived to view it we were met by the very helpful Poppy. Through her we were able to negotiate an offer which was accepted. Sometimes estate agents play mind games with you but Poppy was straight forward throughout the whole process. It felt that both vendors and buyers were equally important during the whole process. Poppy was excellent at negotiating and sorting out any issues that cropped up on the way. She even recommended a builder who has turned out to be a gem!
Thank you RK Lucas your service has been excellent. If I ever want to sell a house it’s you I will use as my estate agent. You have a clear understanding of house prices , have great negotiation skills, and know the area of Pembrokeshire very well.

I had Mike come out to do a report on whether the property was suitable for another occupier (VISA stuff), he was polite, professional, good sense of humour and worked quickly.
Honestly can't fault the service I received :)
