I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I booked a viewing for a rental property, but no one showed up at the flat. I also did not receive any phone call or notification to explain what happened. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and wasted my time. I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

Over the years I have used many of the estate agents in Newport both for buying property and renting out property we own. I decided to use RDE for renting out a property and selling a property. The service straight from the start was excellent. Dave is an experienced agent who knows the market.
The renting process was smooth and professional. Korben who looks after the rental side is also excellent.
The sale of our other property was also professional with regular updates and feedback on all viewings. I never once had to contact Dave for feedback, he would message even out of hours with any information. Dave liaised with both solicitors during the sales process to ensure a smooth sale.
After using other estate agents in Newport who never passed on offers, gave buyers incorrect information, selling properties to their friends, I could go on. I will never use another agent again. It's a shame that other estate agents do not have the high standards of service that RDE adhere too.

After a poor experience last year with a larger agency we decided to go with Red Dragon. I cannot recommend them enough! In his pitch, Dave said he would sell the house like it was his and he kept his word. From advice on little tweaks to make our home more attractive to his proactive marketing and availablity for viewings. On average he did about 5 viewings a weeks and proactively followed up each viewer for feedback. Gave us regular updates and we found a buyer in just over 6 weeks. Another big difference is he handled the sale progression and that was a much better experience with regular check-ins to ensure things were moving along. We put our house on the market in February and completed and moved into our new home 1st week of June, really happy with that turnaround!

I have worked with Dave on the purchase of 2 houses. On both occasions, his finger is consistently on the pulse, ensuring that both the seller and buyer are doing what needs to be done to ensure a seamless purchase. If it wasn't for Dave, I believe the property files would remain sitting at the bottom of a pile at the solicitors making little to no progress. He goes above and beyond his role, and always responds to any queries in record time, providing a much needed bridge between the seller and buyer (going through solicitors takes forever as they never 'chase'). Adam has also gone above and beyond, as I wanted to do an EICR on a property before purchasing it. Adam sorted out the sellers consent, and arranged to meet us at the property. He came to pick up the keys later in the evening, and stayed around for hours waiting for the electrician to complete, and gave me a ton of tips for future property endeavors. Both Adam and Dave are passionate about what they do, and possess a wealth of knowledge that they do not mind sharing.

Called 3 times about a property on the market, no one ever got back to me. On my fourth call I was told it had sold.
Reply to Red Dragon: If you're using the fact that I don't use my online username when I make business calls as a reason to call me a liar then you're as unreasonable as you are bad at customer service. I will also report your business to Google for attacking my person.

Rang up as I saw a board on a house advertising ‘To Let’. Was told the property had already gone, was disappointed but carried on. Then the following week saw the property on Zoopla and was excited to get a chance to view. Arranged a viewing with the agent and was given 2 different days to view, I chose later in the week as it was more convenient to book off work. The day before my viewing I noticed the property had changed to ‘Let STC’ this was on Zoopla and their own website. I tried calling the agents for over an hour and no one answered. I managed to talk to someone on web chat and was told a colleague would be in touch. Almost 2 hours later I was finally contacted by someone only to be told that the property had already been let. I was shocked and disappointed as no good reason could have been given as to why. Apparently the landlord had chosen someone from a previous viewing earlier in the week however this agent had not finished viewings and didn’t even tell me the property had been let. I wonder if they would have even contacted me if I hadn’t noticed the change on the internet. A real poor way to treat potential tenants. Would not recommend this agent. They didn’t care about the tenant, they were rude and dismissive on the phone and very contradicting. DO NOT USE THIS AGENT!!

I contacted Adam at red dragon to value my property. He came and measured took some pics and listed it this process it took a few days to complete. Then advised me of cleaning the carpets and decorating certain parts of the walls. Further to this I was told the property had a low chance of selling due to a business being next door and it being too close. Throughout the process I wasn't informed by this agent of a epc needed. During the process the company did nothing to push the sale for a few months. When I requested a removal from his services I was told there was someone wanting to come conveniently the day I removed months after it being listed. As so say buyer came from Bristol he advised they offered significantly less money for the property but the property has now been sold for the full asking price with another agent locally. I would advise looking elsewhere when selling or looking for advice and steer clear of this company.

From start to finish Adam @ Red Dragon took us every step of the way, in what was the sale of our first house.
Nothing was to much trouble. The office was bright and friendly and fast at reply to any of our queries.
Adam even even stayed late a few evenings to talk us through the sale of our first property and gave us excellent advice with all aspects of our sale, and even our purchase from a different estate agent !
