We used Redman Casey to sell our old home and purchase our new one, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first meeting, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us achieve the best outcome on both sides of the process.
David and Janet marketed our property beautifully and even came back to retake pictures to increase viewing.
We dealt with Dan and Kath mainly, who provided a professional and knowledgeable service throughout. It was a long and stressful process however they kept us in formed every step of the way and reached out to both the buyer and seller on both properties on questions they was unable to answer and took away a lot of the pressure.

I’m really disappointed with our experience with Redman Casey. As a local business, I expected a higher level of communication and professionalism. We put in an expression of interest on a property and were never informed that it had been sold — we only found out much later through our own follow-up. On top of that, we were sent a document that clearly hadn’t been proofread, which doesn’t inspire much confidence in their attention to detail. Overall, a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.
Further to your response. I have uploaded a photo that directly disputes the initial claim. The evidence clearly shows that we offered the asking price and were assured we would be kept informed. I am absolutely appalled that you did not take the time to properly fact-find before attempting to place fault on us. This is completely unacceptable.

From our first viewing (which we were able to do very short notice on a Sunday morning!) to moving in day, all staff were really helpful throughout the purchase, and we were really pleased with all communications. Imagine going through a horrific crime and assault and then being kicked out because it “looks bad” to have the police over to take an account of what happened.
Not only was my friend in a vulnerable position already but to be kicked out over something that wasn’t her fault is absolutely disgusting. If i could rate lower than 1 star i would.
Oh and you decided to give the deposit back to the wrong person causing further harm to my friend’s wellbeing.

Absolutely inhumane and no moral or compassion shown by landlords to a close friend of mine after enduring the most horrific crimes against her. She was given a very short notice period in which she was asked to turn over her keys and leave after the abuse she went through not to mention that she had zero control over what happened to her. It’s honestly vile and disgusting that a landlord and letting agency would let this happen. It’s ridiculous and moreover they have refunded the deposit to the abuser and committer of crimes without blinking an eye or having the slightest bit of compassion or even thought behind it. Absolute trash of a company and landlords associated with them. The bar is in hell because if I could rate lower then I would.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Redman Casey. My friend's experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, their staff was insensitive and unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance, they used threatening behaviour to manipulate the situation to their advantage.
The agency showed no regard for my friend's concerns or well-being. Their tactics were aggressive and coercive, making an already stressful process even worse. It's unacceptable for a business to treat clients with such disrespect and intimidation.
I would strongly advise anyone looking for a letting agency to avoid Redman Casey at all costs. Their unethical practices and lack of empathy make them a terrible choice for anyone seeking a smooth and respectful rental experience.

Bought a house listed with Redman Casey this summer, after a bad time selling during covid and unable to find a property we liked after lockdowns we looked at a ridiculous amount of properties, and offered on a few with no luck due to the crazy over offering, out of all the esate agents i dealt with i found Redman Casey one of the best (trust me some i encountered were terrible). I found all the team polite and very responsive, answered any questions we had and helped get the sale through as quickly as possible.
What some estate agent forget is they need good customer service with both sellers and buyers, i felt as a buyer we were not receiving any customer service from some agents post covid, to the point some were downright rude, staff at Redman Casey were on the ball from the viewing to completion they did their utmost to keep us updated, answer a millon questions i had and provided as much information as possible, even when collecting the keys you are greated with a smile from all staff, and nice gesture of a moving treat box. I can see why they have so many houses sold in Horwich and surrounding areas, i would definitely recommend and use myself if i was to sell.

If I could give personal reviews I would but as a whole, the experience we had through Redman Casey was a very mixed bag.
Bev was a great point of contact and was very helpful. I’d argue at multiple points she was significantly more use than our solicitors. She helped us through a difficult, time sensitive situation with a chain we were in for a house purchase and gave updates quickly and kept us in the loop as much as possible .
David Redman showed us a lot of the properties we looked at and eventually the one that we purchased. He gave us a fair bit of false information, examples being that a “brand new boiler” was fitted by the sellers. Only to discover 6 months later (long chain, long story) that the boiler was 21 years old and not in a great working situation. No heating was lovely for the first week and a half. He told us specifically there was no water meter which when we picked up the keys came as quite a surprise when we got told where the water meter was on a note from the sellers.
I’d echo some familiar things I have seen on the reviews going back to before we put purchased the property etc, such as viewing requests being ignored which is annoying but seemingly every estate agents does that.

Myself and my husband put an offer in on a property and the offer was accepted this was end of November 2020. The sale of the property due to various reasons was held up. Little did we know this property was kept on the market and 2 weeks before completion we was gazumped- as far as we knew we was the only bid on the property. There was no indication of any other interest from other buyers until last minute we found this very unprofessional as when a sale is going through it is usually (sold subject to contact) HOWEVER we are so glad we didn’t get this property as a property for much more money and potential became available and we managed to complete within 3 months. Couldn’t possibly say how bad our experience was with Redman and Casey they don’t care until they get the sale. I was dealing with the sale of a property in Horwich on behalf of a friend who had relocated overseas and simply picked RedmanCasey from the abundance of signs in the area. It proved to be an excellent choice. I cannot praise this agency high enough. Their attention to detail , customer focus , on several occasions not being a local person I called upon them to go beyond being a selling agent , they sourced gardeners tradespeople and a local solicitor, The responded to every request made with enthusiasm , and efficiency. Having sold our property through Purple bricks, we first came across Redman Casey via the property we wanted to buy (listed through them). The difference in agents couldn't be further apart. As with PB, you get little support or interaction the minute the sale goes through, so were very lucky to have Redman casey on hand to assist us on the onward chain. We more or less dealt with Dan throughout the whole process (which became a 7 month ordeal until reaching completion with a lot of frustrating delays along the way!!) and cannot praise him enough. Such a down to earth guy who went above and beyond the usual to get this over the line to completion.

We would personally go with another estate agent that offers solicitors fees included because if your sale falls through you have a lot of money to pay out. When my mothers sale fell through with Miller Metcalfe she had no solicitors fees to pay at all. We also felt after they found us a buyer we never got updated on the sale of the property. We were forever emailing.They also banned us from doing a help to move or any type of move through Wainhomes EVER because this was the company we were originally buying our new home from, even though we were in discussions with this company 1 year BEFORE signing up with RC. The contract only mentions we can't do a part exchange while in contract with them. If they don't get your sale they will do their hardest to make sure no one else does.

I rung Redman Casey twice in one day and wasted my precious time providing them with my details and trying in vain to arrange a viewing.I was told they would ring me back but alas after 24 hours,no contact.I then rung back and spoke to charming Dan.He obviously hasnt completed the course on how to speak to people correctly and so he was abrupt,rude and hung up on me!He did tell me that they had no record of my contact details,it must be that Janet(my original contact) hadnt completed the course on taking details and logging enquiries so she lacked the necessary skills.Considering the staff are so bad at the basics,it is astounding to think that they manage to sell anything.Well done Redman Casey for your hard work and initiative!

I just called this agent to view 2 properties to rent for a 3 year tenancy agreement and they were argumentative and rude. In the end David Redman actually said that he wasn't bothered whether we viewed or not as he could give our appointment to someone else. If you want to deal with an agency who are full of their self importance then these are ideal. We will be advising our employer to avoid dealing with them for all future lettings too..If you like to be treated with respect then avoid this company, if I could put 0 stars then I would.
