We had our parents house to sell, and can highly recommend Regency Estate Agents, Hannah, Lee, Sharon and Becky kept us up to date and well informed all the way through the whole process. We had reports after every viewing, and once they found us the buyers of the house and also helped us to secure the deal, we had regular updates by email and by phone right up until the house completed. We've just old our house using Regency estate agents. This being our first sale and purchase we didn't know what to expect.
Lee, Sharon and the team were always on hand, or the end of the phone with helpful advice, knowledge and stress management.
We had lots of questions but they never made us feel like a bother. They were always friendly, knowledgeable, understanding and there to help in any way they could, whether that be explaining and negotiating for us, or helping us to manage our stress and expectations.

At a time when your abit stressed viewing and trying to find a property , you think you found the right one , only the person before pulled out. With words like ( nothing has come up with the property) coming from the estate agent mouth. only weeks later from the home buyers report of which I almost did not get one but so glad i did. With a long list of problems I notified the estate agent via email I would be pulling out of the sell. They never replied! And also when asking questions I never got any answers.
I found a nice property in the end but the downside it was with the same agents so yet again ask questions and wait ages for any answers or not hear anything at all . It seem to be very hard work dealing with estate agents . Wish they where more honest , up front so not to waste all our times! To be better at communication and more professional as it's very difficult to trust them at a time when your abit stressed from moving in the first place. Looking at the other reviews I think you get a better service if you sell through them ? Shame we have to use them .....or do we ?

Great Experience! Josh was instrumental in us finding and expediting the completion on our new home.
I originally made an appointment with Josh to see what turned out to be our new house. My family and I drove by the property and concluded that it wasn't what we thought we were looking for. In fact, I rudely neglected to cancel the appointment I had made with Josh. He graciously accepted my apology when he followed up on the phone.
We eventually met Josh at a different property that we thought would be more to our liking. Josh was very pleasant and candid with his insights and market knowledge. He hit it off with the whole family. He listened to our comments and concerns and suggested we take a close look at the original property. Gratefully we took him up on his suggestion. We found the house we didn't know we were looking for.
We had recently relocated from the US to be closer to our extended UK family. We were struggling with the overheated local property market and the very different home conveyance process. We needed to complete as soon as possible. We could not afford to get bogged down in an extended and nebulous conveyance chain. Josh worked with the Vendor and our Solicitor to get us into the home in an acceptable time frame. Further He promptly followed up on our numerous and anxious inquiries throughout the process.
We are very happy with new home and grateful to Josh and the whole Regency Estate Agents team.

We cannot thank highly enough the team at Regency Estates Bideford. Although we were the buyers of the property they were marketing, their help sorting out a lot of queries was invaluable and we are sure were good value for the sellers.
We had viewed a lot of properties during our search and most agents were all basically 'to type' (some worse!), except Regency, who we had viewed a property they marketed previously and found 'Josh' both a breath of fresh air and understanding of our experiences thus far. Although that property was ultimately unsuited to our needs, they (true to their word) made contact again a few weeks later with another property just on the market that day, we travelled 230 miles to view and were not disappointed. Regency did an excellent job explaining to the sellers our (and others) positions and thankfully all was agreed for the completion before the June Stamp duty holiday deadline. Considering the workload and 'Solicitors' well, being 'Solicitors' they kept everyone on track to a successful completion. Highly recommended with special thanks to Josh, Lee and the marvelous Tereca. We are happy bunnies !

When we originally purchased our house, which was a new-build at the time, Regency Estate Agents were the vendor’s agent. Naturally they acted on behalf of the vendors but nevertheless, were very supportive to us, keeping us informed of progress on the sale / purchase on a regular basis and providing a conduit of dialogue between the vendor and ourselves.
Now, some 14 years later, Regency Estate Agents was our natural choice when we wanted to sell because of the service provided many years ago. We place great store on employing local businesses and with their sound knowledge of the North Devon housing market, we knew we would be in good hands. This choice has certainly been justified.
The agency’s owner, Neil aided by his business partner, Lee, have maintained a close contact with us throughout the selling process, always available to give advice where needed.
Both partners ensured that they had an intimate knowledge of our property and one of them always personally conducted every viewing. Every viewing was then followed up with the potential purchaser and feedback provided to us expeditiously.
Having now secured a successful sale it should be said that our purchasers have also expressed their delight in the way that Lee, on this occasion, has kept in close contact with them throughout the sale negotiations. This mirrors what we experienced 14 years ago.

Since their relocation to the bottom of bridgeland street a few years ago they seem to have gone from strength to strength. A very nice spacious office without being pretentious. We bought through Regency when we didn't know the area. We let properties in the Midlands & have got fed up with bad agents, so we're naturally suspect about Regency! I have to say though that Regency were spot on throughout, they did what agents should do - negotiate the pricing & chase things through. Neil has a young proactive team who all seem to be on the ball, they always have time for their customers & make you feel relaxed.
