Want to give a big thanks to the whole Hove team of Robert Luff & Co. who were very approachable, responsive and supportive, clearly communicating well with each other, in a recent purchase, I managed on behalf of a son, of a flat sold by their client.
They worked well with solicitors we were using already, but were also their recommendation too, and guided us to particular representatives that they directly liase with, which was helpful and worked really well in moving from an agreed price - negotiated without any nonsense - at speed to completion in a necessarily tight target of only just over 2 months. Although achieving the sale was in everyone’s interests of course, they played an important part, particularly facilitating several viewings and maintaining good and speedy contact as needed. From my ‘buyers’ perspective they were fully engaged agents for the sale on behalf of their client and while I spoke with and met each of Phil, Heb and Haydn I would like to highlight particularly Charlie’s personable, professional service. I would use them again as either buyer or seller - that, I think, is enough said.

I would not hesitate to use Robert Luff for selling my home again. The persistence of attention to my sale right up until the last day of exchange was faultless. The photographer was exceptional plus I was offered drone shots. The EPC was arranged by Heb. A good buyer was selected. Advice was available to me throughout by phone which was always answered or calls returned. The rates are competetive but the service is hard to match. So much better than my previous experience. Phil Bennett came round to value our property. He was one of five local agents we asked to provide a valuation. The agents valuations ranged hugely. In our opinion Phil was the most prepared and had the most local knowledge for our very specific little group of streets. His valuation discussion included lots of local knowledge with sale agreed prices and valuations he had given for other similar properties within the close area - it wasn’t just a printout from rightmove (although he also had this information as well). Phil managed to achieve very very close to his valuation which was significantly higher than any of the other agents. We are therefore incredibly grateful to Phil as none of the other agents thought the house was worth close to the number he achieved.
Phil and his team supported us closely throughout not just the viewings but also the entire sales process and kept close contact with our solicitors and buyers to make sure the sale all went through smoothly. We have now completed and could not be happier with the work of Phil and his team. We would very strongly recommend Robert Luff & Co.

We have just sold a flat through Robert Luff and highly recommend them for the service we received. We were in regular contact with Phil who was a huge help throughout the entire process. Phil went above and beyond at every stage. We don’t live locally and Phil gave us advice on repairs that needed doing and suggested companies who could undertake the work, held the keys, provided access to allow for the repairs to be undertaken. Phil was kind enough to do meter readings as well as giving us regular updates and advice regarding the sale. It took a while to sell due to various complications but Phil remained patient and committed to seeing the sale through to completion. A lovely team, really helpful and communicate. I liked the simple messaging when there was a viewing request and that they don't use an automated system to feedback. This was by email or over the phone. What I am especially grateful for is the role they played in communicating with both parties solicitors. Phil was a huge support with this. My fiancé and I were looking for a property for our first time buy and Heb Bailey and the team found us the perfect apartment. We weren't through A LOT of agencies and A LOT of visits but those guys seem to actually care more and find us our first flat pretty much straight away.
Not only that but they helped us through the entire process: being first time buyers we were so inexperienced in purchasing a property and the guys went the extra miles to help us with solicitors recommendations, surveys, all the steps on buying a house and were always there when we needed access to the property for surveyors and others. They responded to all our questions within hours and never hesitated to help.

Viewed a flat and told them almost immediately I was interested. I called in to put a deposit, was told I’d receive a call the next day which I did not. I had to chase a few times. When I finally heard back, they took all my referencing details and then went silent.
Almost 2 weeks later after numerous attempts to get in touch with them, they told me the landlord had selected a tenant and they hadn’t even processed my application. I’d stopped searching for a flat in that time, and they’d taken some sensitive data in order to process the application. They took it and went silent.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Really poor experience with 0 empathy shown.

I can't recommend Heb and his team enough. I purchased my new house during the end of stamp duty holiday which is probably the most stressful time in an estate agents history. The service that was delivered by Heb, Phil and Dom was seriously impressive.
Again, thank you to the team for the quick turn around, being so helpful and for the responsiveness I received during this process. They took all the stress out of buying a property and were so accommodating.
I will be recommending Robert Luff to all of my friends and family.

The staff at Robert Luff are really helpful, friendly and approachable. I could call up any time with any query without judgement and always with a professional response. Their young, dynamic manager Heb is well-qualified, very knowledgeable, honest and down-to-earth - unike a lot of other estate agents I've encountered! I could text him any time and always had a rapid response. Dom, who was assigned to my sale, kept in regular contact without being pushy, and assisted with legal issues with their recommended solicitors (who were also excellent). He liaised well with my buyer and was able to put my mind at rest if I had any doubts. All in all a very smooth, quick sale with personal service from a great agent, highly recommended!
